Yeah, I start 4, wean out the weakest two, then put the hardiest one in the center, but leave a secondary in case of major failure. Usually the secondary gets stunted but this time its actually outgrowing the primary, and I cant bring myself to yank it! In the past I've defoliated earlier but this time I thought I'd wait a bit longer, and I did take some off already. I also supercropped the secondary (you cant tell because it recovered in less than a day).
