-12/11/22 Week start
-12/11/22 removed the top shade leaves off the main stem today and some off lower branches. Added two more training guides today on the fourth level branches, now the bottom four level branches all have training guiders. Going to remove the fifth level branches when they get a little bigger. Gave about a half gal of water with nutrients today and will be giving to rest sometime this week.
-12/13/22
--soil probe came in today, was off on soil temp. but only by -5°f. Ph was at 7.0, also I will be checking water with nutrients ph before I give more. Will be adding blackstrap molasses to every other weeks watering.
--removed top two big shade leaves from main stem, also trimmed sone shade leaves off lower branches but it doesn't even look like I did. Still growing quick and strong.
-12/16/22
--trimmed off large shade leaves on lower branches, opening up space for the new growth. Also removed branches at levels 5 and 6, should cause branch levels 1 though 4 to boost growth. Could cause branches 7 and above to also boost in growth or get stunted, will find out soon enough.
--found out that I had guessed the the pot size inaccurately, found that it is printed on the side of the pot and not on the bottom. Pot size is 35 lt and convert to about 9.25 gal, size updated on diary.
-12/17/22 gave her a spray with the nutrient water a half hour before lights out. Locations where branches were cut from have already healed, lower growth is starting to fill in that space. Should make for a nice canopy by the time it get put in light cycle 12/12 light/night.
-12/17/22 End of Week
@Tweezer, thanks. they came out okay, even if the experiment was found to be a failure. Still waiting for the lower calyxes to Finnish, but should get around a few ounces off this plant.
@AutoGOAT, so I had it sitting on the humidity cap because the bottom was messing with the wooded surface I had it on. When I did the last watering I didnt see that some of the water had drained into the cap that it was sitting on in the morning (I water at night before the lights turn off), during that next 18h it had started rooting out of the bottom. When I found what happened the roots were sitting in the water, but a hasty transplant looks like it saved its life. It's looking good now and I'll have new photos at the end of the week.
