Recovered I think from some issues with ph. Leaves were abit pale I thought but now have came back with a nice green colour. I'm hoping to be proved wrong here with the coco, I'll be starting a dairy soon as a comparison between soil and coco with the same strain and nutes. All good so far despite the paleness at first. We will we some massive growth in the next couple of weeks I'm sure.

OO owl coco.. am trying my hand at coco again. Well mainly coco have about a 70-30 coco/light mix soil for my plants. Hoping to get more quantity this time. My last round pult like an average of 40g off my girls. Heart breaking but it's the best by far I've grown. Just trying to get Quantity and quality now

@gottagrowsometime, my man, somehow I either get a ounces of stuff that's not good at all or I get half the yeild of chronic. I feel your pain. The coco one here in comparison to the soil looks like it's going to be quite a difference in yeild but the one in soil has rushed ahead also, I'm ready to start that on flush where these 2 have taken abit longer and they were sprouted first.

Can you confirm these babies still live? Whaddya think you've overdone with the nutes?

@banurnerphone, mainly think I've overdone it cause of the colour difference between these 2 and the soil comparison are completely different. I'm learning with coco as I go along also. Worst that happens will be a small yeild. You've gotta fuck right up to kill a weed plant lol

@banurnerphone, I've done skittlez before from fast buds. These were from herbies some free seeds didn't say the name of the breeder so I'm a little confused about em lol. Normally I want to start terrorising em tying em down topping em ECT. But as these are in coco I'm going to just focus on getting that right as it's my first time in coco I don't want to make any mistakes with nutes and ph. I'll check yours out now

Love the coco/soil comparison, these things ended up getting quite chonky didn't they?

@banurnerphone, aye mate they are quite chunky, they are still fattening up these 2 yet. Both are towering over the rest, for my first time in coco vs the soil one I can see a major difference, the soil skittlez has been chopped down and in the dry tent right now these still have a few week before were at that stage. I might have to switch up my game abit and go with coco, but it'll depend on the final yeild and quality comparison to them both. How long these buds have became has took me by surprise, when you compare them to the soil one these 2 are huge, hope they keep pounding more weight on over the next few weeks and give me another headache to think about coco vs soil lol

Cannabis roots love coco because if you keep the coco wet constantly the oxygen to moisture ratios is perfect. In soil, you can only water every so often or you will drown the roots, so when the soil has just been watered, the roots are lacking oxygen. When the soil drys out they get plenty of oxygen but are lacking nutrients and water. Obviously there are many pretty good soil blends out there and some that are much better than others and offset these negative effects slightly, but it still cannot compare to coco coir with high frequency fertigation. If you try high frequency fertigation in coco, you will be blown away, i guarantee you. 💪
