I prepared a sort of super soil 2 weeks before using it
Light mix (plagron) 40%
Coco (plagron) 25%
Lombric compost 10%
Worm Humus ( BioBizz) 20%
Vermiculite 2%
For 10L
Seaweed powder (GK organics)= 4 tablespoons
Super guano (Top Crop)= 4 tablespoons
Horn dried blood (Or Brun)= 4 tablespoons
Choose a CFL 300W Florastar for the firsts weeks. 16h/day
Put the peat pot in a 3 L pot with the soil prepared before.
Normal stretch, not too much; solid seedling. Low and continue ventilation during light period .
Day 7: changed the light for the Niello 300, blue spectrum. Consuming less electricity but I needed to place a heat mat to maintain a temperature around 22 degrees in the germination room.
Root Juice + Tarantula: day 7
Perfect start.
The micro growing space under the stairs is appropriate to begin the vegetative cycle in 3L pots: more easy to control temperature and humidity.
Winter is coming, I added a ceramic horticultural heater 45W (+ heat mat 50W) to maintain 21/22 degrees during cycle day.
Feeding with Root Juice and Tarantula 2 times. Sprinkle soil with dried horn and blood for low nitrogen diffusion.
Daily vaporization with rain water.
It’s another story to grow photo periodic plants; it’s not a race against the time like growing auto flowering plants. May be 7 weeks vegetation for this session.
Just afraid about the electricity cut during the winter. The temporaries blackout will be announced the day before….I bought a rechargeable (USB/solar) COB light to have a few hours autonomy.
Good growth, the Cookies start to enlarge and look very nice after a little month.
Just focus on the rooting system for the moment, using Terra Aquatica Root Booster.
The plant is healthy and will be placed in a bigger pot (12L) in ten days 🎅🏼with the “super soil” inside. At the same time i will move it in the grow tent.
Even if we are quasi in winter and indoor with no particularly predators around: i vaporized a preventive treatment on the plant: Neem Oil VG Garden bio + black soap + rainwater.
Watering each 2 days: 20cl rain water + root booster
This cookies is going to be a little fat girl: enlarging and stretching, with big Indica leaves. It’s the first time I grow a plant from this company and it’s a good start.
I cut the Apex up to 5 nodes day 35. It’s better to do it now; before changing room, pot and light.
Watering day 31: rain water + Bio Grow
day 33: rain water + Silic Boost
Ph around 6.5
After 6 day for recovering after topping it’s time to transplant the plant in a 11L pot with the soil I prepared 4 weeks ago. The rooting system is correct and the plant is strong.
I Moved the plant to the grow tent under the TS 1000
Same 18/6h cycle
Undirected permanent ventilation
Air extraction (powerful) 15 minute/2h
Ceramic heater 50W
Buddy Boost bag = CO2
Watering only with rain water with little ph modification this week.
First week with the final setting: grow tent, led light TS 1000, 11L pot. Temperature inside ok around 22 (less when the air extractor is on), humidity level around 60%, ventilation/extraction 15 minutes each 2 hours.
Transplantation was done in a good timing, the plant never stopped to grow. Branches are solid and the topping is a success.
I started to train the 2 top branches: works good!
Watering 2 times this week: Silic Boost + Cannazym + rain water (40cl)
: root booster + rain water (40cl)
Vegetative cycle: 7 or 10 days more.
This Cookies by Pyramid seeds is a good surprise, may be the most vigorous plant in the grow tent .
The cookies is now a fatty, bushy plant, super healthy with intense colors. No signs of stress, nutrients excess or deficiency, pest or diseases : first stage complete!
Flowering cycle (12/12) is engaged since 3 days after 53 days of vegetation.
The enriched soil was enough to feed the plant during the 8 weeks: added just frequently a Root Booster and a few ml of BioGrow. The way to give a major part of the elements needed for the plant in enriched soil is more easy for me. This method is more practical : less danger of nutrients excess, less time spend with complex mixture each watering ⚗️🌡️💉😩, cheaper.
Used mostly solid organic nutrients mixed with the soil, waiting 4 weeks (daily mixed) before using: bonemeal, bloodmeal, bat guano, seaweed powder, Lombric compost.
Watering each 2 days around 40cl of: Calmag + Root Booster + rain water
: Rain water
: Calmag + Root Booster + rain water
Added on the top of the soil 3 tablespoons of guano powder: GuanoDiff Bloom NPK 3/6/10
Buy some Palm Tree Ashes for the second stage of flowering.
Week of stagnation; the Cookie is just initiated the flowering process, no more growing; just focus on blooming sites. Vigorous plant, well branched and bushy.
The problem for now is this freezing winter. Low temperatures around the grow tent: 11 degrees at night; I placed some cardboard around (better than nothing), the little ceramic heater is still on and the light produce some heat too. But when the air extractor is on, during 15 minutes every 2 hours: temperature inside the room fall and it take some time to recover a stable and correct conditions. I must buy an extractor with adjustable speed or less power; but for the moment I can reduce the frequency of air extraction but I don’t know the limits for the plants.
I placed a carbon filter: it will be essential for discretion in a few weeks. This sytem offers a sort of isolation around the air extractor: not bad by this time.
Defoliation day 57
2 x 50cl Watering: every 3 days with rain water + Fish Mix.
The bushy Cookies is flowering and looks good; super green and solid.
Good timing. The vegetative cycle without stress and the homemade soils with a good nutrients balance also helps the plant to start the flowering process in a good way.
Conditions are more stables in the grow tent since I installed the carbon filter and place a heat mat on a side of the space (no contact with pot).
, but it’s difficult to have more than 20 or 22 degrees. This days are not so cold.
Broke a branch : the “buddy boost” bag for CO2 hanging 1 meter above the plant fell down on the Cookie; loosing just one little branch is a miracle🙏. One more Grow Rule: ❌don’t try to fix stuff (like a carbon filter) in your grow tent with the plant inside❌
2 watering each 72h: tarantula (root care-beneficial bacteria)+ rain water
Tarantula + Calmag + rain water
Sprinkled the soil with 1,5 tablespoon Palm Tree Ashes: very high content in potassium NPK 0-1-30 + phosphorous and calcium.
First half Flowering cycle: week 4 ok.
Vigorous flowering on the top sites: long and thick white pistils. The flowering area is relatively plane: it give a equal development to the top flowers. Pretty Plant.
The conditions around and in the grow tent are stable : no freezing but a cold wave is announced next week….
2 watering this week; 0.5L every 60 hours:
- Calmag + Terra Flores + Rain water
- Cannazym + Terra Flores + Rain Water
Flowering cycle week 5 done.
Little fatty plant… start to be resinous and frosty; big long sticky pistils.
It’s 3 or 4 weeks more till the end, and one or 2 week with nutrients add before flushing.
Watering every 60 hours
- rain water + calmag + Terra Flores
- rain water + root juice + Terra Flores
1 tablespoon Palm tree ashes on top of the soil.

Week 13 - Flowering 38 days
I’m a bit dubious about this week. Flowers are more resinous, the plant look still healthy; no signs of weakness or stress. But the density development of the flowers is not so blatant, sort of deceleration of the flowering process.
I’m suspecting a problem with “fungus gnats” in the soil. I didn’t care about a few flys when I found it; but now I’m worried about the roots : fungus gnats larvae eat and damage root hairs = problem of nutrients captures. Must try to contain the infestation: I don’t want to compromise the last weeks…
Action —-> Reaction :
.Treated the base of the plant and the soil with spraying : Neem Oil + soap + rain water.
.Defoliation
.Clean and treat the room but the tiny flies are hidden in soil…
I reacted a bit late😠, one more lesson learned after that: in case of any insect or leaves symptoms: you must be immediately reactive, each hour count with diseases or parasites! I loose attention à few days, carrying the seeding of the next session.
Watering every 60 hours
. PK 13/14 + Root Juice + rain water
. BioGrow + BioBloom + TopMax + rain water
Cookies USA: Flowering cycle week 7 done.
Lot of sugar on this cookies: flowers and little leaves are totally covered with a thick layer of white resin. The buds have a regular shape and a beautiful geometrical structure . The maturation process is engaged; looking on time. Pyramid seed recommends 8 to 9 weeks for a complete flowering cycle.
Fungus gnats are still into soil, flying around, some of them die, stuck down on the resinous flowers ☠️. This plant act like a drosera (carnivorous plant), trapping insects in glue but cannabis can’t digest those prey and I grabbed the dead animals with a pair of tweezers before having a mold problem. We will cohabiting with Fungus gnats till the end but I try to control the infestation: I add few drops of Neem oil in the watering mix: it don’t kill the insects but it’s repellent.
Less problem of low temperatures around the tent, but it still winter…
Watering 1L every 60 hours, last feeding with organic nutrients
- BioBizz nutrients + rain water (+Neem oil)
- Silic Boost + rain water (+Neem oil)
Cookies 56 days Flowering: it’s a question of days before harvest. The flowers are maturing slowly, getting meaty and dense. Trichomes are now cloudy, I must check this regularly to choose the good moment to let the plant in total obscurity during 48 to 60 hours.
Did a last feeding with some flowering organic nutrients at the beginning of the week and gave 1L rain water (ph a little bit corrected👇) 60h after.
I didn’t used too much nutrients during this session: major part was for rooting stimulation during vegetative period, and after some flowering nutrients , enzymes and Calcium/Magnesium. The enriched soil used to grow this plant (seaweed powder, horn, dried blood, bat guano, palm tree ashes, worm compost) did the job and limited the nutrients need. So I don’t need a long flushing, minimum 10 days.
I installed some fly traps (yellow stickers system) used in organic culture and it’s working good; catching Fungus gnats.
One more time temperatures are freezing and we loose some degrees in the grow tent.
Cookies USA week 16, 9 weeks flowering.
We are quasi ready for harvest. The flowers aren’t growing more, pretty dense, thick and very resinous with a sweet aroma. Trichomes cloudy with a few amber.
Used the Niello Led 300W during this week: bloom mode/red spectrum. It was good for maturation, reduce temperature and keep fungus gnats away from the plant.
Flushing till 10 days: 1L rain water + Flawless finish every 48h
In 4 days: the plant will be placed in total obscurity during 60h
Fatty Cookies is ready for harvesting: day 118, 10 weeks flowering, Flushing ok, 60 h in dark room, no watering since 96h, waning moon.
Solid plant, still vigorous, no signs of nutrients deficiency even at this stage: mission complete, even if it could be better with a real and efficient training.
Main buds are large and meaty, strong and punchy smell: it’s not the best strain for discretion.
Today it’s “cutting day” , trimming the whole plant before hanging it in the attic for 15 days…
Great rustic strain; efficient, resistant , easy growing to finally get meaty and tasty flowers. Pyramid Seeds re-establish the prestige of this famous strain…really like it for his powerful effect: encephalogram 0…😵
Another Spanish seeds pack bought during vacation in Minorca. Pyramid seeds is a well known company and I choose to try this strain for a Indica session. 8/9 weeks flowering cycle for this cross between OG Kush and F1 Durban, 70% Indica.
Good development during the 7 weeks of vegetative period. Topping at 5 nodes and training some branches: the result is a solid plant with thick stems and large Indica leaves, resisting to the difference of temperatures during some cold months and to pests (fungus gnats).
No really nutrients add: mostly root stimulator, microbes, bacterias or enzymes.
The Cookies continue to stretch during the beginning of the flowering cycle, forming 4 main blooming sites. Flowers are large with long pistils, producing lot of resin, before to get thicker and meaty.
Fertilizing essentially with Canna nutrients Terra Flores.
After approximately 10 weeks of flowering, some defoliation and a long flushing it’s time for harvest this pretty little smelly plant. It’s a little yield but a beautiful product.
This Cookies grew in a 10L pot, under a 150W led, with 4 roommates in a small grow tent 60 x 90 cm.
Used 2 different lights:
-Mars Hydro TS 1000 (power 50%) for the first 2 weeks
-Niello 300 (blue spectrum) during 5 weeks
-Mars Hydro TS 1000 (power 100%) for preflowering week and flowering (9 weeks)
-Niello 300 (red spectrum) for 10 days maturation
