This is my first real week of Vegetative Stage. All prior growth was for seedling and root growth, so I slowly ramped up light schedule etc., to promote a healthy root zone. Although it says week 2, I am counting as first week. I know I'm probably off my rocker, as I performed LST, HST, during the aforementioned stage and it was a little premature, but I am trying something new and wanted to be sure the plant and I were ready. SCROG, is my next adventure with this grow, so I am training plant and waiting for it to get to a point where I can apply the net, which should be in a couple weeks. Numbers for runoff are still elevated at this time. I contacted Apera and meters are fine. I performed a cleaning and calibration on both meters. Plant looks healthy and happy. 1.5 gallons RO water... IN PH 6.04 TDS 329 EC 463 OUT PH 6.17 TDS 4650 EC 6550 12/24/22 Watered with 2 gallons of RO, Cal/Mag and Manganese. Okay, so I removed training aids and now I intend to let her go for a week without any training etc. Maybe two weeks. I think I get ambitious and impatient, which leads me to rush my training methods, which places too much stress on the plant. So I am going to try to just let her grow and stretch for now. Then one more topping, a rest for another week, then start introducing her to the trellis net for Scrogging. My first run at this so be kind...lol. My runoff numbers are coming down and rightfully so. I have been watering without nutrients for awhile now. It is my belief that the soul is still hot and full of nutrients so no need to feed for now. Once the runoff water indicates healthy numbers I'll perform a flush with Sledgehammer, then start feeding again per FFs Feeding Schedule on the next watering. I just wonder if using Sledgehammer is necessary at that point in time, but my limited knowledge leads me to believe that it is. I think it best to remove any salts built up in soil. Please tell me differently if applicable. Temperature outside is 7 degrees, so my basement is now 69 degrees, and tent is averaging 73 degrees. I lowered light to 12 inches and held my hand over canopy to test for burn. All good at 12 inches. I did this and adjusted all fans with the purpose of raising tent temperature. But, it doesn't look like it helped much, as it only increased by 2 degrees. Usually I am fighting the heat...oh well. IN PH 6.10 TDS 335 EC 472 OUT PH 6.16 TDS 3760 EC 5310 12/26/22 Watered with 2 gallons RO with Cal/Mag and Manganese. Numbers are starting to reach desired levels as I water without nutrients. Again it is a hot young soil from FF so this is expected. I think I will use Sledgehammer in a week or so to remove any built up salts and then start regular FFs Feeding Schedule. IN PH 6.06 TDS 541 EC 764 OUT PH 6.25 TDS 2350 EC 3320 12/28/22 Watered with 2 gallons of RO, Cal/Mag and Manganese. My numbers below are good so another couple waterings and then I will start feeding. I am training plant with tie downs to ready her for the trellis net in a couple weeks. I topped her and took a few fan leaves off,, but nothing major. IN PH 6.13 TDS 404 EC 571 OUT PH 6.38 TDS 1630 EC 2300

says you went from lockout/pH issues then dumped a whole shit ton of water through it... probably a combo of overwatering along with the fact lockout/pH issues don't resolve overnight even when you have fixed the resting EC of substrate or rez etc (same basic concept). Looks like Ca is having an issue, but more likely from the previous lockout issues you mention in weekly comment so, when you ahve a problem don't dump 10 gallongs through it. If severe, just give plain water with a good amount of runoff. this alone will significantly drop EC. Stop buying flushing agents.. they are retarded and usless. water alone is enough to drop EC. If not severe, simply give what you beleive is a reduced concentration that will average out to a normal level.... make sure there's runoff. This is easier if you know previous levels fed. this is more difficult in a soil context to know with any precision, but can be an option when the problems are small and slow moving -- indicating things are not far off. also, is this just a few isolated leaves at bottom? if so it'll probably not get worse as long as you don't run 10gallons of water through it in 1 day. ontop of lockout from before now you have a dysfunctional root zone until it can recover with very low o2 levels from drowned roots.

I have a couple bags of FFOF in my grow room supply cabinet and three bags of perlite, fine, medium and course. I am thinking that after I use up the FFOF, that I will switch to Cana Coco Coir Bricks. Okay bring it on...I am ready for your suggestions and comments. Let's go!

Wash that shit and then give it a soak in 1.5EC standard veg solution is usually what I’d use.. helps neutralize the CEC so it’s not robbing your plant of nutrients when you feed. So I usually rinse it a few times, then do a 24 hour soak in the solution.. then rinse once more just to get most of that off and you’re good to go. Love coco personally. Put some fine and course in the coco once it’s primed.. I like to layer an inch or so of super course in the bottom of all my containers then fill with the coco.

@love_2_grow, Your grows are not suffering from your laziness. But, yea...I am just trying to get better and hey the seeds are free until I run out, lol. With your success you don't need any help! So thanks for jumping in and sorry to hear about the light and scrog experience. I am not ready for it but am taking the plunge.

New picture? If it's that bad just dump it and start anew. Flowering takes a long time then there's harvest/trimming/curing all for some light airy leaf clusters that kinda have some buds mixed in... (I know from personal experience, Lol)

@@David369, Yea, I get it. Not sure, but she us coming back and flowering surprisingly well. I'm of the opinion that this strain is not easily grown for a newbie. She reacted poorly to the same DLI the other plants received. She responded poorly to the watering schedule the other plants received. She responded poorly to the feeding the other plants received. So, I just adapted to her needs. If she continues on the path of healing and thriving, I will take her to harvest. If not, then I will feed her to the rabbits.
