First photo experience. Soaked seed in water and put in moist paper and 3 days later she had a good 1inch root so planted straight in soil. For soil, I'm using biobizz allmix with 2 good handfuls of coco for the seedling in the centre 🌱 before the roots hit the nutrients in biobizz. Added a good amount of myco for healthy roots and using 2 biotabs tablets for slow release. Will be using biobizz grow, bio heaven, bloom and top max later on as supplement but my experience with biotabs on last plant has been great, hardly any extra nutrient required really. Using an SGL Controller, viparspectra p1000 light and the AC infinity charcoal filter and fan. I'm planning to veg on 18/6 for about 8 weeks before flipping. not sure yet to just LST or do 1 or 2 toppings around week 3 and then LST as required after. I like the idea of keeping her short, trained and bushy. Had 67 grams of the same variant in auto version, so hoping to pull 100 gram of this photo variant before the end of May.

Added biotabs to the soil and started feeding with biogrow and bioheaven, keep adding a bit of myco to each watering too. She seemed to pick up the pace a bit. Topped her on day 21, above the 4th node and removed the bottom 2 shoots and leaves. So keeping 6 shoots that are now starting to develop.

Day 28, 1 wk after topping and she's bouncing back! The 6 shoots are growing well. Would have liked her to be a bit bigger but happy she looks healthy overall. Applied LST and trying to let each shoot grow horizontal. Water about 600ml every 3 to 4 days

Topped 2wk ago, she recovered ok. Got 6 branches growing next time I'll stick to 4 only (quadlining). She doesn't loose her water easy, the pot stays heavy ish also after 6 or 7 days. I soaked her till runoff on Saturday. Not sure to wait longer till bonedry or not. I keep LSTing and defoliating a couple fanleaves here and there so all sideshoots get light. I also already "lollipopped", not sure if I can use that term so early but hey ho.

Wk6, Day 49. Topped 2 weeks ago leaving 6 branches and topped a second time a few days ago. I have been applying LST every few days and a little defoliation of fanleaves that were covering growsites. I build a frame that will help with LST. 2 more weeks of veg scheduled and I hope she will fill out most of the frame before the switch to bloom and stretch. The goal is 100+ gr / 4+oz which will last a year. The only thing is, she keeps her water a bit longer than she should, even after 6 days it feels like there is still some moisture in the bottom although the top half feels dry enough. The top couple cm soil sank in and I wonder if it's a bit too compact in the pot. I drilled some extra holes around the bottom area and put the pot on 1 cm wood strip to lift it from floor and have more airflow which may help. Roots have reached the pot bottom so that's a good sign. See you next week.

She's growing slow but finally reaching the bottom trellis. Also doesnt consume much water. Till now I mostly focused on horizontal spread and LST, but going to leave her grow up for a couple days till a week and see how she does. I have quite a lot of vertical space...should I flip or hold off? Thanks for those who answered my grow question. Currently she's only 22cms high and has a diameter of around 35-40cm. Most shoots are only 7 to 12 cm with a few baby ones too. The light hangs currently 40cm above the canopy, and I have 60cm more to heighten it (that will keep 25cm height above the light for exhaust and filter etc.). I'm hoping I can let her grow to 25cm. Even if all shoots reach 25cm (which I don't think they will) and she triples it will go to 75cm ish... this is my first photo and I may be horribly wrong and she may surprise me and grow much more than I think 🤷‍♂️🤞

8 weeks from germination, should I flip or let her grow more? I'm leaning to let her grow more for extra yield, as I have more than a mtr vertical space left

I've grown this strain. At 25cm you have a good way to go yet before of I'd see any issues with height. Even at 2x size if you were flip now it'd be in the 75cm range. Jst keep temps in a 4c window during the pre flower window to avoid any stretching. So, what I do in cold parts of the yr. I make it so the 12hrs on "comes on the coldest part of your day and vice versa. This will help keep temp steady. Also by rasing your exhaust up and down when it's hot/ cold to control temps and you should be able to judge in future what size your grow will be. Keeping in mind what your growing, as you know sativas tend to grow up, and indicas have more girt. Lots of factors. But in saying all this, it really is down to your pref. And does she have enough shoots, node growth and so on can all be controlled with defoliation and LST, HST, and topping and others. Good Growing

She grew slow but looked ok. Think I got soil issues. Away for work last week and she's been more thirsty so soaked her yesterday and got downwards curling leaves today. Not sure if overwatering or someth8ng else. Lots of new growth so i think she liked the water. Flipped to 12/12 and hope she stretches till past my top trellis. Onwards and upwards.

First week bloom, she grew well, not too much stretch yet and hope she's got at least another 15 to 20 cm in her. Did some LST and defoliation (lollipopping? in prep for 2weeks holiday, think I got to give water more often but less much and keep that top half moist... as currently it takes her a week to dry up most of the pot. Added a little biobizz bloom to her water this week. Do my leaves look healthy? She looks a little light green...

you probably would have removed vast majority of that at some point, but stripping it back this much is not a net-positve. i know some "methods" call for it, but that's some inductive reasoning. how much light is now passing through the canopy totally unused compared to before? how much less surface area is being struck by photons. the plant gets energy to build molecules from photosynthesis. It gets the building blocks from the atmospher (carbon) and the nutrients from roots. the same mass that goes in has to come out. the same energy needed for that growth to occur is directly proportional and must balance out on both ends too. Reducing energy reduces received potential growth. plus, leaves perform other functions like storage and transpiration. Let it grow out and slowly remove the most shielded leaves.. maybe some early lollipop with scrog, but only if you maintain a full canopy too. if not, wait 2-3 days, it doesn't take long. To put things in perspective, this too is not a huge net-loss. This plany will fill in those gaps within a week. you may even need to remove a few leaves here and there later on for airflow reasons - less is more still applies. doing things a bit more piecemeal also reduces stress on plants... if healthy and happy this also usually does not cause a problem. i've broken the "1/3rd" rule several times with no repercussions, lol. (never take off more than 1/3rd of the plant mass) so, even if you compared clones of photoperiods to try to see the difference i bet it'd be small - but with a big enough sample, you;d see statistically significant difference in yields... life is a chemical equation and it has to balance out.. creating a bottleneck or reducing energy potential is going to be very hard to overcome for a net positive result by improving something else related to the outcome by doing "it" whatver it may be. some of the methods out there are more about making someone feel a bit more involved than they actually are in the end result. A lot of stuff amounts to sophistry... sounds good but not quite true or 'best' to do.

Day 11 bloom. Growth has been slowish I think due to compact soil, maybe PH issue. Using biotabs and light biobizz. Since switch, the leaves have turned much lighter green with few leave edges turning yellowish and can see more veins. Is this a feeding issue or other indication?

Your leaves are healthy. You don't want dark green in flowering. The green tells how much nitrogen is in the plant. Heavy nitrogen in flowering will hinder Cola development. The one thing I did see was your light might be too close too soon. Also you should of waiting on a heavy defoliation like you did till after they stretch. So 2nd to 3rd week into flowering. Just at the point they no longer will make new leaves. They need leaves to produce energy. So no leaves = no energy = no big colas. 👍🏻

Back from 2wk holiday. She suffered 4 days of 32c day and 27c night due to broken airco. She looks a bit crispy and I think I kept her a bit too dry through the WiFi mini pump. Defoliated the crispiest leaves and gave her a good saturating soak, hope she still delivers well. She doesn't smell much anymore, I hope the smell comes back now she's happier or maybe I burned all the terpenes already, we'll see. 3weeks of bloom, the pistilheads are maybe smallish, hope she still fattens up in the next weeks.

Shes going into autumn fast. I think the heat got to her and she's maturing too rapidly. 4 weeks bloom so at least 4 to go. Fan leaves are mostly getting yellow and tips of all leaves are burned, think more from heat than nutrients. Let's see how she does in the final stretch, it's not going as I hoped

She started fattening up but buds stay very small. Especially the lower buds that I maybe should've cut off earlier, they're not even buds just some pistils. Next plant, I got to do better on soil and temperature management. I feel for her, she's trying but I couldn't give her the best environment.

She has suffered and fanleaves are drying out and discolouring rapidly. She really needs 1 to 2 more weeks. I turned the lights down a bit, to hopefully drop the temp a bit. Buds stayed small not fattened yet, just gave what I think is the last feeding with biobizz grow, heaven, bloom and topmax. Hope there's a bit of fattening still happening before harvest. Hoping on 25gram dry.
