Radiator didn't come on when it should have. It was cold today and I don't understand why the sensor didn't trigger the Radiator.

The 2nd week of flower has gone well. I have tried to keep the canopy of the overall grow as level as I can, the only problem with running different strains is they all have different traits and grow at different speeds. Nearer the end of the week the weather started getting cold again so the radiator is going to be working a bit more over the next week or 2.
#2 Tropicana Cookies FF stil hasn't started stretching, she is mega bushy and has quite a cool funky look to her, I haven't managed to spread her out as much as I wanted to so I'll hope she will be OK.

Thanks for stopping by.
@Inganjawetrust, really simple mate. Bucket with water/nutes, water pump, tubing, 4way manifold, drip emitters. Suck all the Run off out the saucers with a big ass syringe. Need to sort that out to be automatic.
@GrowingGrannie, this one and the cheesecake are big bushes. I'm a week behind on my diaries, just finished 1st week of 12/12 and she has got way more bushy.
I messed up and accidentally got Trop Cookies autoflowers. So, i'm going to live vicariously through your grow. It's looking great so far! I'm excited to see how these fast flowers finish.
Good luck, bruv!
@ernest_twwg, she is bushy mate, real bushy. I don't have the space so I'm glad I flipped to flower when I did. I could imagine another few weeks in veg and she would have filled the tent on her own.
Great notes. Good to see someone else has a love of VPD charts. I have a custom spreadsheet in google sheets that graphs my VPD. I also have a lung room vs tent comparison with weather conditions added as well.
I am currently charting annual VPD conditions for "paradise" growing locations such as The Emerald Triangle in California, Hindu Kush Mountains, Thai Highlands, etc.
@Hashy, the camera sensors on phones are the best option without buying something like an ePar meter. Stretch occurs during early flower naturally (varies by genetics).
To induce stretching, one would need to increase the amount of far-red light (IR) to activate the plant's shade avoidance system. The ratio of red light to far-red light determines this. Check out Bruce Bugbee's "Far-red: The Forgotten Photons" YouTube video.
I actually cover up the IR diodes on my lights during early flowering to keep the stretch in check.
@ironf1st, lol I'm literally half way through my 1st joint of it. Iv not tried the auto version of this strain so I don't know how it would compare to it but I'm getting a very sweet taste from it, like a bit fruity as well maybe citrus. Its bloody nice I'll give it that, pretty damn strong as well.
Hey Growmie,
Thanks a bunch for growing our Fastflowering genetics, and sharing this diary with us :)
We hope that it was a nice experience, and that you enjoy the harvest!
Have a good one
