Wed Jan 18 - the plants look great. The light is able to penetrate to all of the branches really well. The leaves are all straight and lively
Sat Jan 21 - I watered the plants with PH'd water with RapidStart, CannaMax Silica, Diamond Nectar, CalMag, Flora Micro, Grow, Bloom and
KoolBloom
- I measured the PPM of each nutrient as they were added. The total PPM after all of the nutrients was 925. Which I think is
very low…pretty much the lowest PPM before seeing deficiencies.
- I recreated the feeding chart based on the instructions on each bottle and it turns out that it is pretty much a doubling of
what I was already adding. Before, I was hestiant to follow the bottle instructions because they are written without
conisideration of other nutrients, which is why I followed the GH feeding chart.
- Coincidentally, when recreating the feeding chart based on the bottles themselves, it was the same if I had just doubled
the amounts. The only nutrient that I will not be doubling is the Silica as per the instructions from the bottle
- The plants have seemed to stop growing now. They are about 28 inches tall
Tue Jan 24 - normally I give the plants 4 days between feedings, but the last 2 times, I noticed that the plants were drooping and the soil
was bone dry at the end of the 3rd day. So for now I'm going to check on the plants on the 3rd day and potentially feed them
earlier based on the soil and how the plants look.
- so, I watered the plants with PH'd water this time plus, I added CannaMax Silica, RapidStart, Diamond Nectar, CalMag, Flora Micro,
Grow, Bloom and KoolBloom
- Also, I created my own feeding chart and it's pretty much double the aggressive feeding chart from General Hydroponics.
- The PPM of the nutrients was at 1,350 PPM instead of 925 PPM.
- My new feeding chart has a slightly lower Silica amount so I no longer need to use PH Down as the nutrients are able to
lower the PH automatically.
- The plants are looking good. I defoliated just a couple of leaves on each of the plants…but nothing crazy.
- There was one plant that when I was cutting a couple of the leaves off, I thought I saw a seed sack, but I may have also been
a pistal…I thought I say a white hair coming out of it, which would make it a pistal, but if it didn’t have a hair, it could be a seed
sack.
- The last harvest I did for the White Widow Extrm Autos, I believe my overtly heavy defoliation caused a plant to herm and
pollinate the other plants, so I've been trying really hard to do very light defoliations so as to not cause the same problem.
Luckily, these AK-47's are not an overly bushy plant like the White Widows are.
My other harvest that I'm doing for the Blueberry 420, they are bushier than the Ak-47's, so I'll have to tread lightly with them
- I noticed that the plants still grew a bit more…I thought they were done at 28 inches, but they are now at 31 inches.
