Wed Jan 25 - The plants are looking good. No signs of nutrient toxicity. The plants are handling the higher levels of nutrients well
Sat Jan 28 - I watered the plants with CannaMax Silica, Diamond Nectar, Flora Micro, Grow, Bloom, and KoolBloom
- I probably should have watered the plants yesterday as they were drooping again… I've adjusted my reminders for every
3rd day instead of 4th day
- One plant is a few inches higher than the others, so I adjusted the pulleys so that the light is slightly askew so that it's not
so close to the tallest plant
- I am so paranoid about the plants developing pollen sacks. I'm going to take a very close look at the plants to keep an eye
on anything like that forming.
- I feel that the plants are kind of slowing down production…I'm not sure if its from being the 4th day and they were too dry
or if it's because the pollen sacks have released pollen and now the plants are focusing on seed production and not budding,
however, the buds are not as far along so I don't see where the sack would be forming.
Sun Jan 29 - I took a really good look at the plants, the bud sites and pretty much every nook and cranny. I only saw pistols and no pollen
sacks. The difference is pollen sacks will be just below the pistols. They will look like pistols but not have any hairs coming
out of them. Everything I saw was higher up to the bud sites and each single one of them had a hair or multiple hairs.
Mon Jan 30 - The plants are looking good. Starting to see the buds getting bigger and more numerous
- I've also noticed that I probably could have fed the plants and it only been 2 days since the last feeding. I guess some of the
additional nutrients are causing the plants to absorb the nutrients faster and better. RapidStart would have created bigger
roots, Diamond Nectar makes the plant take more nutrients up, and KoolBloom is a supposed to bulk up the buds. So, these
things could be causing the plants to uptake more nurtients and dry out the soil faster.
Tue Jan 31 - I watered the plants with CannaMax Silica, Diamond Nectar, CalMag, Flora Micro, Grow, Bloom, and KoolBloom
- based on what I noticed yesterday with the soil being totally dry, I will adjust the feeding schedule to avery 2 days and see
what happens. I'll be sure to watch for nutrient toxicity
- So far, I'm still not seeing any nutrient toxicity with the current feedings, they are handling the additional nutrients well
- Again, I now do not need to PH the water down as the Silica amount is now lower, and I'm adding the 3 base nutrients
which adjust the PH down to 6.5 automatically
- I should mention that I extended the feeding chart by adding in an extra 'Early Bloom' week as I felt that the buds were still
in the early blom phase and not really in mid bloom yet.
