Great effects with an initial rush to the head followed by a strong sativa like energetic high. Kind of a muddy dreamlike effect with good energy. Mostly in the head but also a decent body effect. This cultivar is strong and potent and the high lasts a bit longer than average. The smell is like a funky, sour, lemon and pine smell. The buds are dense and have some weight to them despite some of the minor foxtailing. Good bag appeal with the buds covered in trichs, although not as nice looking as newer stuff. The effects are pretty incredible though, especially if you're into this type of high. Good yield and could have yielded more. Harvested at 9 weeks but could have gone another week. I got a mutant but I would definitely grow this one again.

First time user of Craft Blend and I can easily say that this is the best all in one organic dry amendment you can use. I will be using Craft Blend in all my future organic grows and don't plan on using other dry amendments. The plants loved it and so do I 😁.

Harvested, dried for 8 days in the tent, then placed into mason jars. This has been a very successful grow and I'm happy to say that I will be continuing to grow organically. Overall this turned out to be a really good plant. I didn't have high expectations for it considering it was a mutant and the fact that it had very little smell. Well now I'm happy to report that its smell did come in and it turned out to be pretty killer. It doesn't have a diesel smell but a funky, sour, lemon and pine aroma. It wasn't loud at all during flower except for the last week or so. This was a good plant. I would totally grow her again despite getting a mutant on the first run. I really dig the effects. Despite being a mutant she grew with good vigor and packed on some weight. Definitely a good yielder. A bit difficult to train and defoliation is a must, much more than what I did this grow. Chopped her at 9 weeks but could have gone to 10. . While overall I did very well, there were some things I could have done better: -Defoliate alot more. -SCROG a bit better. -keep plants in target temps/humidity. The plant produced nice dense buds towards the top but I definitely could have yielded more if I had just exposed those lower budsites to light via defoliation. I should have taken more leaves off. And while the SCROG did its job, I could have trained the branches a little bit better for better light distribution. I could not control temps and humidity pretty well. Had to keep the dehumidifier in the tent due to the RH and it raised temps to 85f during late flower. That being said, the plant turned out wonderful regardless with no issues at all. After everything we are left with 110 grams of the Chemdog D. I would recommend this strain as well as CSI Humboldt.

What are you thoughts on the strange coloration and twisted growth on my Chemdog D's leaves? It looks like Tobacco Mosaic Virus but I'm 99% sure its not that. I am certain it is just genetics but would love to hear some opinions, especially if you've grown similar genetics.

I have been told that Chem lineage is known for having this discoloration. There are also other mosaic viruses besides TMV that could be the culprit

I run by humidifier with the calcium deposits in my water as well I think I just get lucky I don’t get the white specs…also very meticulous about cleaning all of my stuff. My issue is holding humidity even with a humidifier it’s so dry here been around 20% can only get my tent up to around 31-34…max 40% in these cold false Illinois winters. Girls are growing pretty damn good and I got the same temps. You should be good I think 👍🏼

@BeiingBreeziie, Yeah, the dust gets over everything: the walls of the tent, the wires, inside the clip fans, the plants etc so I just gave up on it. Don't feel like purchasing gallons of distilled water so I'll have to wait until I get an evaporative humidifier to replace my ultrasonic humidifier with. Its a bit of a bummer, but the plants seem to be doing just fine. 😀 The winters here are very dry and the summers are very wet, so I'll be having the opposite issue where I live very soon. Thanks for the comment and good luck!

@Brasco, Yeah, no problems really with her the whole grow! Glad it wasn't anything serious as she was a killer when finished! I would like to learn more about the Chemdog D's lineage and quirks but its seems like there's either conflicting or not enough information out there publicly. Thanks for the confirmation though friend.

I could be wrong but your leaves look like signs of sickness / virus which usually is in genetics or poor grow environment and lately 90% of the time it’s the breeders handing out infected seeds. With virus the spots / markings on leaves will over lap the stems & veins. Where a deficiency it skips over the stems and veins

@BeiingBreeziie, That's what I initially thought, but it doesn't seem that the symptoms are spreading to my other plant in the same tent. I was under the impression that viruses only really spread through clones so its worrying that seeds can do it as well. I'm pretty sure its just a mutation as I've read S1s are prone to mutation and I hope I'm right. Gunna have the clean the tent really good after harvest 😀. Thanks for the kind words as well.

Everything you seem to be doing is excellent! So I blame genetics/ breeder not caring / catching it
