Dear Diary,
As Week 20 ends, it marks the culmination of the grow cycle for WC #1 and WC #3.
Both plants have reached the desired trichome maturity, and the focus now shifts to the drying and curing process.

⏰ Day 137
Watered the girls with tap water.
Noted that WC #1 has significantly increased resin production over the last two days, and the same trend is observed with WC #3, but anticipating harvesting both plants later in the week.
⏰ Day 138
Provided tap water for the plants.
Observed that WC #3's leaves are displaying more pronounced purple coloring.
⏰ Day 139
Watered the plants with tap water.
Trichome observations:
WC #3: 95% cloudy, 4% amber, 1% clear.
WC #1: 95% cloudy, 4% amber, 1% clear.
⏰ Day 140
Gave the girls tap water.
WC #3 is continuing to yellow and display beautiful purple hues.
⏰ Day 141
Watered the plants with tap water.
⏰ Day 142 (Day 77 Flower)
At 18:00, after performing a trichome check, it was confirmed that both WC plants are essentially 99% cloudy throughout the top, mid, and lower canopy. Consequently, they were harvested.
The drying environment is maintained at approximately 19-20°C and 60-65% relative humidity.
he plan is to proceed with trimming after 10-14 days of drying.
Fantastic work! I'm a newbee. One question. Day 139 reads:- WC #3: 95% cloudy, 4% amber, 1% clear. And Day 142:- 99% cloudy - so would that be 1% amber? Thanks and well done.
@Xilpa, thanks man! This was just my 2nd grow as well so I would put myself in the newbee category as well to be fair haha
But yeah so by day 142, they were about 99% cloudy with 1% amber.
I do understand that it can sound a bit weird as I had 4% amber in a previous day, but it’s as the previous days I was just looking at the tops, and for the last check I gave a estimate more looking across the entire plant. So the very tops were probably at 5-10% amber, but at the bottom it was basically 0, so averaged out to about 99% cloudy.
I otherwise just focus on getting rid of almost all the clear, and I have a tolerance for about 10-15% max of amber, so I cut when either:
1. Less than 1% clear or
2. Over 90% cloudly and 10-15% amber.
