Dear diary,
Week 1 after germinations is completed!
🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀
⏰Day 4:
I gave all of them nutes at PH6.3 and 0.48ms until the coco was saturated.
Also made sure the light was on 100ppfd and set to go off tomorrow at 12:00 and then back on at 18:00 to start the 18/6 schedule.
⏰Day 5:
Gave the same feeding as yesterday and increased the light from 100 ppfd to 125 ppfd. Targeting 185 for week 1 as that would give a DLI of 12.
⏰Day 6:
Increased power of feed a bit to 0.55ms and 6.2ph.
Incredible the light to 155ppdf with the height set to 65cm above. Can see some stretching but hopefully that stops today/tomorrow as we get to 185ppfd/12dli.
Temps have remained steady at 25-26 with light on and 24-23 with lights off and with humidity mostly around 80%.
⏰Day 7:
Bumped up feeding strength again to 0.67ms and 6,1ph and changed the fan to start oscillating so the seedlings start getting some more wind to get stronger.
Light was also increased to 185ppfd/12dli as was the target for week 1, next target will be 250ppfd/16dli for week 2.
⏰Day 8:
You know the drill, upped feeding to 0,78ms and 6,3ph.
⏰Day 9:
Finally gave nutes at 1ms as is my target for seedlings and 5.9ph, and removed the dome with lights going up to 205ppfd.
Temps are sitting at 24-26 and 75-85% RH with lights on and 23-24C off.
⏰Day 10:
W.C #2 showed some signs of calmag deficiency, so gave a calmag foliar spray at 0.8 EC 6.4ph to hopefully get them what they need there.
I also applied another feeding at 0.97ms 5.8 ph and increased the lights to 225ppfd.
Fantastic work! I'm a newbee. One question. Day 139 reads:- WC #3: 95% cloudy, 4% amber, 1% clear. And Day 142:- 99% cloudy - so would that be 1% amber? Thanks and well done.
@Xilpa, thanks man! This was just my 2nd grow as well so I would put myself in the newbee category as well to be fair haha
But yeah so by day 142, they were about 99% cloudy with 1% amber.
I do understand that it can sound a bit weird as I had 4% amber in a previous day, but it’s as the previous days I was just looking at the tops, and for the last check I gave a estimate more looking across the entire plant. So the very tops were probably at 5-10% amber, but at the bottom it was basically 0, so averaged out to about 99% cloudy.
I otherwise just focus on getting rid of almost all the clear, and I have a tolerance for about 10-15% max of amber, so I cut when either:
1. Less than 1% clear or
2. Over 90% cloudly and 10-15% amber.
