I removed the water temperature regulator after finding it had a red light leak in the reservoir causing a weird slime. The plant is having trouble absorbing phosphorous due to low water temps so I wrapped a heat mat around my bucket and taped it on snug until temperatures warm up.
I renewed my reservoir to a clean bucket and nutrients to recommended dose.
I also wiped my lines clean and replaced my air stones. It is the second week of dosing with Voodoo juice in flower and the once browning roots are now lively and white and expanding.
DWC tip#3: I found the plant is happiest when the water line is 1 inch below the basket and have been only refilling to this line since. The roots I must stress NEED that extra air. When refreshing your reservoir pull your roots out and take note the water level and refill to there. I refilled to the basket line without taking into account the volume of roots and I was drowning my roots a couple times before noticing. Lack of oxygen lead to some harmful organism growth in my medium. This will ultimately affect the taste of my buds.
