Starting this strain again. I ran one this time last year, and it was amazing. Got two seeds as freebies from Seedsman. Took 10 weeks to flower. Had significant stretch. Was a super happy strain with a good body buzz. Tasted like lemon/lime and kush. Can’️t wait to try it again. Soaked with water and BIgfoot root stimulator for 2 days. Just planted straight into Happy Frog soil, and made a humidity dome with an extra plastic cup.
Transplanted into a 3 gallon pot this week, with supersoil in the bottom 1/2 and Happy Frog in the top. Last time around, this strain wasn’t a shy feeder.
I pulled off the 4 biggest bottom fan leaves, and the side branches are flourishing now. After another week, I’ll flip to flower.
I defoliated earlier this week. I’ve uncovered some good growth nodes, and can’t wait to flower her. At that point, it will be 10 weeks of flower to finish, based on my last run of this strain. Such a happy strain. I can’t wait.
I kicked her into flower 3 days into the week. I defoliated right beforehand. I’ll do it again in two weeks. 10 weeks to go! I can’t wait to have this back in my stash.
Two and a half weeks into flower. I defoliated last night, for the last time. She’s super leafy! 7-8 weeks to go. The last I had went 10 weeks, and was one of the happiest stones I’ve ever had.
Third full week of flower down, plus some change. She’s recovered from defoliation, and is now packing on frost. Nothing to do now but feed and water for a while.
She’s getting super frosty, and beginning to pack on weight. Nothing to do but tend to her needs and wait for signs that the end approacheth. This was such a special smoke last time. I’m glad it’s getting closer. Should be 4-5 weeks. Hopefully these buds get as huge too.
Nearing the end. Another week and a half, to two weeks. Topheavy as all get out. I had to support the hell out of the main colas. I’m super stoked to have this in my stash again. Happy and relaxing. I remember reading on my back porch, smoking this on cold winter nights. Sometimes in my underwear. Perfectly content. This is REALLY good stuff!
Almost there. She’s o my been getting water for a week. I’m putting her in the dark soon. I’ll likely split the stem too. Might as well get the most out of this frosty Xmas miracle. 😄
This is the happiest strain I’ve ever come across. The last one was a much easier grow. This time around the branches were very weak. I supported them early, but even the small branches wouldn’t stay up beyond week 8. So I harvested at 64 days of flower. She could have used one more week, but I’m super happy with the smoke. Tastes like citrus, earth, and pine. Good body buzz. Good for day time, if you don’t overdo it. It’s very powerful. Strong psychoactive, cerebral buzz. Great for social activities, or reading a book. It gives me a boost to the imagination. I’m really going to miss this strain, but I will just have to try out the RQS Amnesia Haze strain.
One of the best smokes I’ve ever come across. I may go as far as attempting to breed their Amnesia Haze with their OG Kush, just to get some more. Weed rarely makes me happy. This one makes me intensely happy.
@Tazard, Thank you! I wish I could let her go longer, but the branches have decreed that I must harvest soon. I put her in front of the fan, supported the main colas with stakes. Even the small branches won’t stay up. 😄
@Wilstang, The way she goes. I’m not worried about it. Every seed company has a dud every now and again. Looking for a good mother, I want the best out of my 3 seeds anyway. 😄
@OutForReal, Sadly, that was all I had. I’m growing out a Hulkberry to use as a mother for clones though. That should be similar. I think Dinafem has an Amnesia OG too.
@Stinkfox,Really a shame , when I take a look at your buds they are looking like a private stock 👊. Maybe you can breed that one if you still have some seeds
@OutForReal, The one I grew last year was like that too. It’s a shame RQS didn’t make this a part of their regular catalogue. It’s really a great smoke. But it’s definitely what sold me on their strains.
@ROM101, Thank goodness it happened so late. I have a clone of either the Ruffalo or Bana about 4 weeks into flower. I think I’ll let it finish. The Ferrigno probably not.
@ROM101, Thank you! I’ll take as much good luck as I can! Fingers crossed for no more hermies! 😂. Not that this strain will be a concern. RQS has been top notch for me.
@The_Projexx, Thank you! I’m excited that this one will be done a week or so faster than last time. But this one won’t be riddled with seeds from a bag seed GG4 that hermied. This time I get max potency! 😄
The flowering of your plants looks to be progressing very well. There not much better than watching the flowering nodes begin to take shape and form beautiful buds. I'm eager to see how your grow finishes up and I wish you all the best in the rest of growing these girls. Cheers :D
@HighTV, I tried some tonight, but can’t get close enough with the lens. The branches can’t support themselves. So I’ll get some at harvest, when I can get a little rough.
sounds like an amazing strain, and the pics look yummy. Jw is stem splitting to induce stress to get more resin? I've done the old hippy thumbtack in the staulk trick before for this. :)
@Green_Friends_Inc, It really is fantastic. The first time I tried it, it made my top 5. I waited over a year to grow my second one. This one isn’t as tough as the last one. Branches are really weak. And yep. Same trick. Just slightly more dramatic. 😄
@StickyRelaxation, Thank you! I’d like to take credit, but this one is all RQS. This strain has been far more tolerant and forgiving of my experiments with supersoil than everything else in the tent this round. Great genetics!
@OutForReal, Thanks! I loved it the last time. Sprouted a couple days ago. Getting the next round started so they’ll be ready to flower when the others are done.
@iMeus, This is one of the happiest strains I’ve ever had. I had been saving this last seed for a rainy day. Dinafem has a version of it too, however. I may try it out.
