Two and a half weeks into flower. I defoliated last night, for the last time. She’s super leafy! 7-8 weeks to go. The last I had went 10 weeks, and was one of the happiest stones I’ve ever had.
@Tazard, Thank you! I wish I could let her go longer, but the branches have decreed that I must harvest soon. I put her in front of the fan, supported the main colas with stakes. Even the small branches won’t stay up. 😄
@Wilstang, The way she goes. I’m not worried about it. Every seed company has a dud every now and again. Looking for a good mother, I want the best out of my 3 seeds anyway. 😄
@OutForReal, Sadly, that was all I had. I’m growing out a Hulkberry to use as a mother for clones though. That should be similar. I think Dinafem has an Amnesia OG too.
@Stinkfox,Really a shame , when I take a look at your buds they are looking like a private stock 👊. Maybe you can breed that one if you still have some seeds
@OutForReal, The one I grew last year was like that too. It’s a shame RQS didn’t make this a part of their regular catalogue. It’s really a great smoke. But it’s definitely what sold me on their strains.
@ROM101, Thank goodness it happened so late. I have a clone of either the Ruffalo or Bana about 4 weeks into flower. I think I’ll let it finish. The Ferrigno probably not.
@ROM101, Thank you! I’ll take as much good luck as I can! Fingers crossed for no more hermies! 😂. Not that this strain will be a concern. RQS has been top notch for me.
@The_Projexx, Thank you! I’m excited that this one will be done a week or so faster than last time. But this one won’t be riddled with seeds from a bag seed GG4 that hermied. This time I get max potency! 😄
The flowering of your plants looks to be progressing very well. There not much better than watching the flowering nodes begin to take shape and form beautiful buds. I'm eager to see how your grow finishes up and I wish you all the best in the rest of growing these girls. Cheers :D
@HighTV, I tried some tonight, but can’t get close enough with the lens. The branches can’t support themselves. So I’ll get some at harvest, when I can get a little rough.
sounds like an amazing strain, and the pics look yummy. Jw is stem splitting to induce stress to get more resin? I've done the old hippy thumbtack in the staulk trick before for this. :)
@Green_Friends_Inc, It really is fantastic. The first time I tried it, it made my top 5. I waited over a year to grow my second one. This one isn’t as tough as the last one. Branches are really weak. And yep. Same trick. Just slightly more dramatic. 😄
@StickyRelaxation, Thank you! I’d like to take credit, but this one is all RQS. This strain has been far more tolerant and forgiving of my experiments with supersoil than everything else in the tent this round. Great genetics!
@OutForReal, Thanks! I loved it the last time. Sprouted a couple days ago. Getting the next round started so they’ll be ready to flower when the others are done.
@iMeus, This is one of the happiest strains I’ve ever had. I had been saving this last seed for a rainy day. Dinafem has a version of it too, however. I may try it out.
