Welcome to the jungle at week 5! Thanks for stopping by and taking a look at this Gorilla grow! πͺ I also have a strawberry pie in the oven so check out that diary if you feel inclined to do so. π
This week she is really taking off and stretching. The light this week was at 20in/50cm with 60% intensity, should be around 550 PPFD at the canopy. I've been continuing to perform LST to encourage an even canopy for light distribution. I also performed some very light defoliation, copy leaves here and there, and will continue into week 6 being mindful not to not take too many leaves at a time.
Day 29: Monitored and rotated to provide light at different angles
Day 30: Monitored and rotated to provide light at different angles
Day 31: Watered with 1.5L water and added a 1ml/L dose of bio-heaven (PH 6.5)
Day 32: Monitored and rotated to provide light at different angles
Day 33: Watered with 2L of water and added a .5ml/L dose of bio-grow, 1ml/L bio-bloom, and top-max (PH 6.5) and performed some light defoliation
Day 34: Performed LST by bending over and tying down the stems to encourage an even canopy.
Day 35: Watered with 2L of water and added a 1ml/L dose of bio-heaven (PH 6.5)
Please feel free to comment or provide any feedback, it is always appreciated. Happy Growing Everyone!
@Sour_D, Thanks my friend! π This is fastest growth I've seen in a strain, of course I have limited experience. π Thinking to start some LST on her soon. π
@UnorthadoxDude, Thanks my friend! Yeah, I'm having fun with LST on these grows. π You're right, I could have went with bigger pots since I have the space. I just ended up going with what I already had on hand, but now I'm gaining more confidence so maybe next run I'll with 20L pots. π
@MrJones, Thank you my friend! π I appreciate the support with my grow, nothing like being part of this community. Right now I'm trying to keep the gorilla happy before the harvest. π
You are doing great mate! Only feedback I could give you is put more plants in the tents for a bigger yield hahah but that's all preference of course ππ€
@UnorthadoxDude, Well great to hear, always nice to have a fellow grower share the same experience. I'm excited about this one and can't wait to see how yours goes!
