Week 2, Day 14: The ways of the girls have parted. After 10 Days, they've split and now the tent is the home of the three remaining plants. The healthiest and biggest ones are now living outdoors.
Yesterday i put all the plants in their final 11l fabric pots. They got extra myco for the roots and a 1l inital watering with ph'd water with Root Juice, Acti Vera, Bio Heaven and microbes to get the soil running. Now they look overwatered, which they are but i guess the should bounce back during the day.
The Pineapple Express looks a bit sad and got some yellowing of the lower leafs going on. Maybe the soil is a bit hot for her size (BioBizz Allmix), but i decided to just do nothing and see what it looks like when she is not overwatered anymore. Hulkberry and Crystal Meth are fine i guess. We'll see whats coming. I'm hyped and curious how the indoor- vs outdoorgrow will unfold.
Day 17: Oh boy the temperatures... I have to face the fact that this grow is not about the experiment indoor vs outdoor. It is about surviving until harvest. Temperatur is regularly between 31° and 35° in the tent and i refuse to install an ac. Maybe i'll bring them outside for the night, just to give them some time with moderate temps to recover. The good thing is: They are still alive and kind of doing their thing (even if nuteburn is a real issue in addition to the temps). But: i'm learning.
Day 19: So we got some colder days ahead and it's a huge releaf for the girls. I put them outside during the night for the last two days, to give them some recovery from the insane temperatures and they seem to respond very well (Woohooo automatics). Today i can let the lights run at 100%, until now 60% was the max because the temps were just way to hot. The indoor girls are way smaller than their outdoor pendants, so maybe they now have some time to catch up. This summer indoor grow (which i don't think i'll do again next year), is just a constant juggling of temperature vs. light intensity and its about finding the sweet spot for the most ideal conditions (because its impossible to get ideal numbers), but its fun and automatics make it kind of easier to manage.
I started LST on the crystal meth plant, just to optimize light penetration. LST will be the only training techniques i plan to apply.
@GrowWithFlow, Thank you so much my fellow growmie! The drying process makes me more nervous than the grow itself, but i'm really looking forward to the first smoke🌻🎉🔥
@KingSalomonsWeed, Really? That is insane :D I just thought i had a hallucination when i opened the tent yesterday 😂 Thank you so much for this comment, it is such a relief. I asked myself what could have caused that the whole day!
Your humidity is possibly causing C.Septoria if you're not seeing nutrient issues, try getting some Calcium Chloride-based indoor dehumidifier and/or Bicarb of Soda. I have constant fluctuations in temperature + RH here and I found those both helped keep it from ~60-70 constant without it, and afterward to ~43-60 stably.
@delta_420, Yeah i definitely have really high fluctuations in temperature and humidity since the start of my grow, Thank you so much for your advice! 🌻🌱
