First Day of Week 1:
Got very lucky and all the girls germinated. Happy days! They develop good so far. Heat is the overwhelming issue at the moment. Temperatures are almost always between 28Β° and 31Β°. I try to support the ladies with a fan, additional Co2 and some silica in the water.
Because of the high temperatures i have to leave the tent open during the day, which causes low humidity. But i decided to just ignore humidity for now. Just do my best with misting them and i left some water in the tent to help with that and as an aditional cooling source.
I fed them just root juice, microbes, and aloe vera. They get this only once until now, the rest was just misting with phed silica water. Juice for the roots, microbes for the soil, Co2/aloe vera for heat tolerance and silica to build a thick skin. This week they'll get the feed also just once. Beside this its watering every other day with ph'd silica water and regular misting.
I'l let them in the tent at least another week and then i'll repot them into an 11l pot and then they'll go out in the sun. So curious to see how each of the strains develops indoors as outdoors. π
Day 8: They had a horrible night with temperatures of about 35Β° in the Tent. Open tent is just slightly better with 32Β°. Until now my lighting schedule was that lights are off during the afternoon, but i guess i'll throw that out of the window. I switch to lights off at night, because i can't leave the tent open during the night.
Outside temps are about 31Β°, i guess at the moment it may be less heat than inside.
Day 9: They are still alive and looking good so far, despite the high temperatures. I'm really happy with how it goes so far, when you consider the hurdles. Still sticking to the plan of repotting them next weekend and taking them outside.
Day 11: Still a night with 35Β° next day when i opened it up. But they seem to take it like little champs. Gave them a sip (1dl) of phed water with root juice, acti vera and a bit of bio heaven today. Still mist them 4-6 times a day with ph'd water + silica (due to the high temps) and start to spoonfeed them with sips of water every 2-3 Days. They do great and i'm more than happy with the first days.
@GermanGrow182, Thank you so much! Yeah the pots are just 11l because i wanted to run the same seeds indoors and outdoors. And because i have very limited space indoors, i chose the 11l. I'll try to be braver with the feedings and the amount of nutrients! I'm just anxious that i overdo it.π
Good detailed info. IΒ΄m having a hard time. IΒ΄m guessing I donΒ΄t have the climate for germination...
I didnΒ΄t do anything for my critical seeds. And now for more tries, IΒ΄m adding stuff, tried an aquarium as greenhouse, and itΒ΄s not working. ItΒ΄s like the more I follow advice, the less it works.
Sorry to bother you, grtz
@Domingocito, Sorry to hear that. I don't know if i'm incredibly lucky but i just stick with some basic rules for germination. I try to keep it simple and go from there.
For germination it is: Darkness, moisture and warmth and for seedlings it is: Light, moisture (mist often but no regular watering), a bit of airflow and warmth.
Don't give up Growmie! You can do that!πͺππ±
Beautiful, I got some of the Bio-Bloom and Acti-Vera (~month using Bio-Grow now) for my two indoor autos. I love seeing how healthy and big the buds are getting, love these nutrients so much. Hope you get a nice yield! :D
@diegrow, Thanks a ton buddy! Yeah me too! I jusz lover to smoke organic grown flowers. Don't know if its placebo, but i just think they taste a tad better πππ€
Beautiful π you truly are a master haha. π thanks for leaving a comment on my girl , I was thinking nobody gave a damn. π I'll keep checking out your page. Thanks, God bless. Happy growing as well. βΊοΈ
@navajo_sm0k3r, Thank you so much buddy! I just love to see new growers doing their thing and i can learn a lot from most of the people here. I am a very beginner, but i just adore the hobby! Keep it up buddy! π±ππ
