Stony_German Defoliated and did some lollipopping yesterday. This morning the pots were nice and light, so I boosted the soil a bit with Greenhouse Feeding Enhancer at a good 1mg/l. Now a few days of recovery from the lollipopping and then it's off to flowering in 3 days.

Stony_German Today with Greenhouse Enhancer for more power tomorrow during lollipopping/defoliation and faster regeneration. Stretch is moderate and manageable. Mimosa is a bit behind, but it also has a longer flowering time, 5 days after Barney's Farm. Blue Sunset Sherbert is strong and has outperformed the Mimosa by far in terms of stable side branches. Let's see if Mimosa catches up; it will get a bit more space tomorrow.
Pictures will come after lollipopping later.
Today I caused a massacre for 2 hours and as promised, the pictures after defoliation and lollipopping. Amazing, even though no resin is visible yet, scissors and hands are sticky.

Stony_German 30 days of flowering and starting week 5. Buds are getting denser. Mimosa x Orange Punch has a never-before-seen strange bud shape. No bugs and good humidity at 35%-50%. This summer has been good and relatively cool. 🙏 A Blue Sunset Sherbert has rock-hard golf ball nugs. 👌 The other one is a bit different and full of trichomes and resin the most. 😁 It's starting to change colors on some leaves. The underside of one BSS is really pink. 😍 Until next week and keep on growing!

Stony_German Flowering Day 44. Buds are getting harder, smell delicious, and harvest is coming soon. 56 - 63 days says Barneys. Momosa absolutely crazy buds and needs less fertilizer. I still have 3 seeds and will give her another chance sometime. The Blue Sunset Sherbert takes everything you give her. A😍 wonderful strain. Good job team - BarneyFarm.😀

Stony_German Tag 51 and the ladies are only getting pH-65 water until harvest. They are definitely drinking less. Instead of every 2 days, every 3 days is enough.
Barney's Farm says everything should be ready to chop between 56 - 65 days. I'm also leaning more towards 65 days of flowering. Trichomes are still about 60-70% clear.
BSS#1 smells tropical sweet. BSS#2 is more kushy, earthy, and piney with very little sweetness.
Mimosa x Orange Punch has the absolute mandarin-marzipan candy smell and is perfect for all Tangie lovers.
This summer is surely a problem for all growers, but the buds are rock hard and big. How thick would the flowers have been without heat stress??
For the next run, I will grow 2 x Runtz Muffin (I still have 2 seeds) and 1 x Blue Sunset Sherbert (only 1 seed left). Barney's Farm seeds are just 💪. And with 100% germination, I can recommend them with a clear conscience. Until next week, my growmies 😎😉.

Stony_German Photos Day 58 Flowering.
Trichomes are still 50% clear, so I'm giving the ladies another week. Fading looks really nice.
Mimosa x Orange Punch wasn't that hungry and is still pulling nitrogen from the leaves. Maybe it needs just a little more than a week, but the smell is so delicious, I could stick a bud under my nose and enjoy it 😆.
The Blue Sunset Sherbert is an excellent job by Barneys Farm. One pheno has such hard buds that I have to be very careful while drying to avoid mold. The transformation of the smell from overripe fruits to a tropical cocktail of fruit salad with kerosene 👌 Absolutely my taste.
Hope you like my pictures, and see you next Sunday 😀 and keep on Growing 😎

Stony_German Tag 64 of flowering and the SCROG net is removed. The ladies will get 48 hours of darkness in 2-3 days when there's no more water in the pot. The smell has added a bit of Kushi and Spicy sweetness to one of the Blue Sunset Sherberts. The other BSS is just sweeter fruit salad with kerosene. Mimosa X Orange Punch has the strangest buds I've ever seen, but it's pure orange marzipan, wow. The harvest photos will maybe come with the first smoke report when it's dried and packed into the GROVE Bags for curing. See you soon, friends.

Stony_German Blue Sunset Sherbert: 115g from #1 was very strong from the first to the last day. The buds are rock hard and have a bit of fruit salad that has been sitting in the sun for a day with a splash of fuel.
On #2, there was a bit more, 123g is very good for one plant. It has the taste of a good Kush with a bit more lemon. I sampled about 5g and am very satisfied and happy.
Because Mimosa x Orange Punch was a mutation, I will review it next time I grow it again just because of the smell and taste (have 3 seeds left). But the taste is WOW, smells like orange marzipan candy. Tastes like sweets with a shitload of other sweets. Great daytime smoke. Barneys Farm always delivers great genetics. I hope you enjoyed my diary and photos, and it's time for the Runtz Muffin run. #keep on growing😜😁😎
First of all, great plants look healthy and strong. I also did some BSS, and I can give you a tip. When lollipopping, don't be stingy but pay attention to very good air circulation because the buds get really fat, and the risk of mold increases with the size of the buds. Otherwise, you did a pretty good job with tying down, topping, and stressing them :-)
@Stony_German, You've done a great job. I might take off 1 or 2 buds from the middle of the babies so the leaves don't overlap too much. As you might already know, plants transpire through the underside of the leaves, and when leaves overlap or touch, it can lead to moisture/water buildup, and with insufficient air circulation, the risk of infestation increases drastically. The babies are going to start putting on some serious mass now, and then the tent, which looks a bit empty, will be packed! :-) I think the color of the babies and how they're stretching towards the light is awesome; it shows they're doing well. Keep it up! :-)))))
@jojoG2G, thanks for the tips. Someone who has grown a strain before, their tips are worth their weight in gold.
I thought the same but let the ladies have a bit bigger leaves so they can recover from the High Stress. After a week, they forgive a little defoliation. I would be happy if you follow the grow and share your opinion with me.
All the best and #keep on Growing 😉😄
@Stony_German,
The babies aren't called WEED for nothing because they're almost indestructible :-)
They forgive a lot. But any kind of stress applied after about week 2 of flowering can and will negatively affect your yield (quality and quantity).
From the start of flowering, the countdown basically begins, and every stress affects the cycle in a certain way.
For example, if you do some lollipopping today, the babies need about 2-3 days to recover, and if I defoliate again or do something else afterward, they need a few more days to recover. Suddenly, a week of flowering time is gone just for recovery.
It's not a 30% loss right now, but a few % here and a few % there, and in the end, you've harvested 1/4 less and don't even know why :-(
I wouldn't take anything away now. Just make sure there's good air circulation and admire the beauties as they grow :-)
@Stony_German, You can make a relief vent (usually best for lowering RH rather than temps though). Or you can always start leaving your tent doors open if need be. Not what we want obviously, but it'll bring those Temps down as a last resort if need be!
Good luck growmie!
@Captensmokey, thanks, there's a lot of love in it and the girls thank us with sticky sweet buds. Runtz Muffin seeds are going into the shot glasses today and tomorrow evening the next run starts. Wishing you all the best with your ladies 😎😀
@Still_Smoq, thank you very much, the summer was too hot and I think I made the best of it. The Blue Sunset Sherbert makes you super relaxed and tastes delicious. Tonight the Runtz Muffin run starts. Wishing you all the best and good luck too, buddy.😎
@Terp1, many thanks! I hope soon many more Germans will experience the pleasure of this hobby. When you invest love and passion, the grow rewards you with beautiful buds. All the best and #keep on growing😎
Wooooow buddy, great job really. I was fascinated by the colors and structure of the plants. 😍
You're awesome!!! 👍💪
I also grew the MOP, really orange-like. 🍊
I wanted to ask you if the grow bags do their job well? They really seem revolutionary!
@Rwein93, Thank you, buddy. I was also skeptical and dared to test the Grove Bags (after 20 years of fermenting in jars). It's important to dry well, about 60%, then it works great. The harvest was 2 weeks ago and the humidity hasn't changed (I put a hygrometer in the bag to be sure). I will only use Grove Bags in the future. You won't regret it. All the best and good luck, buddy. #keep on Growing😎
@Rwein93, of course I haven't forgotten you, and after 2 months in the Grove Bags, the weed is perfect and the taste is just fantastic. From 62% humidity, there's still 60% left after such a long time. I've definitely opened them about 5-6 times and taken out some buds. For longer storage, you should seal or vacuum seal them as recommended by the manufacturer. Why didn't I give the bags a chance much earlier? Now I just need to perfect stable 60% humidity and 18°C temp for drying the buds. So I can definitely recommend the Grove Bags to you, brother. 😎
@Terp_Djiny, thank you so much👍. Just a few more days and this journey will be over. I still have 2 Runtz Muffin seeds that will be the next grow along with the last Blue Sunset Sherbert seed.
@BudTheWiser, thanks mate. BSS has very strong sidebr. and i think she need no support to hold the biggest Buds. Mimosa has a ton of thin side branches from sidebranches. I should used my Runtz Muffin seeds with the BSS and highly recomend you to make a Mimosa only run. She has a unique grow structure.
@Hanffuehrer, Thanks, as always, there's a lot of love behind it. I checked the trichomes daily and harvested at about 10% amber. Right now, I'm testing what's behind the Advanced Nutrients Organic hype. But there will be a pause with Barneys Farm for now. Just because I want to test something else. But I will always trust Barneys; they always do everything right, 100% germination and good results. All the best, buddy #keep on Growing
Wow, a very nice harvest! The color development throughout the grow looks really nice! In my current grow, I've also chosen genetics from Barneys. I'm excited about your Runtz Muffin run; I have a regular Runtz in mine too :) Cheers, Growmie 🤚
@tomatenmark69, Thanks, they really taste nice after 3 weeks in the growbags. Good luck with your run, I’ll check in every now and then, Growmie. Hope to see more beautiful German grows popping up here. 😁😎
@@Chuckwaggon420, Thanks, mate. 36 days Bloom today new Week/Fotos incomming. Love the Color Change. Ladies are real Frosty Beautys. Cant wait to smoke😉😎
