The plants are continuing to grow really strong! Most of them have some leaves that have reached the edges of the buckets! I wanted to take a good look at the pre flowers to help determine if they were males or females so that I could weed out any potential males and help leave as much tent space as possible for the females. Two of the looked the same and one of them looked different than the others. The pictures above are of the one that looked different, and Im thinking that it might be a a male since it looks so different but I'm not seeing any hairs coming out of the others yet so until I see that I cant be positive about the sex. I have started noticing these small white mites crawling around on top of the soil, around the edges of the bucket, and crawling up the stalk onto the leaves. I cant tell if they are eating the plants or not but I dont like seeing them .. They are pretty small but I can see them with the naked eye so I used the macro lense to get some up close pictures. Ive never seen spider mites before so I think thats what they are. I am going to be ordering some insecticidal neem off of amazon and I will be using that for the next couple of weeks until I see them going away.
@HighTV, Thanks for checking in!! I've definitely made my fair share of mistakes with this one since it's my first grow but this strain has been extremely forgiving and has been a fantastic one to learn on. I definitely want to run this strain again but next time I really want to get some actual Kens GDP from Seedsman instead of running bag seed. If mine comes out looking anything like yours Im going to be a very happy guy!
It turned out to be a mite called hypoaspis miles. I thought they were spider mites and spent like two weeks trying to kill them until I found out that they were beneficial and kill fungus gnats haha
