Was a dream strain to grow. Wonderful structure, intoxicating terp profile, and on some spots with purple hues.
Would definitely grow this one again!
Smells and tastes of lime, gassy and sweet.
Bacterial is a good stuff, it helps a lot to get a right balance in the soil.
Use the CO2 tabs for first time and I cant say for sure what added value it had, but it didn't hurt the plants for sure.
Hey fellow gardeners,
Unfortunately, I couldn't complete this diary earlier because was busy with family stuff and work. So finally here we go with the last chapter of this wonderful grow session.
Thanks for Barneys for another masterpiece, we had a truly unforgettable journey with this breed.
Its a bit difficult to remember after so long time but we try to collect the most important feelings and thoughts.π
So i decided to choose this time a hybrid strain to complement our most sativa collection.
The seeds germinated in no time and we were able to put them in the first small pot after only 3 days, after another 3 days except one, they emerged from the soil so the fun could begin.
The vegetative phase was actually easy and vigorous, but we made a mistake that made it a little longer than planned. Luckily the broken main stem healed really fast so this extra week wasn't so bad. In this phase we had an experience that we never had before, and yes this was the 13 finger leaf which means that the plants seem doing very well.π±π
When we entered the flowering period I was afraid they wouldn't stretch enough as other growers reported. Luckily these ladies got lanky and even didn't want to stop the stretching, which was cause for concern because the time for the last defoliation and lollypop session was almost there. At around day 23 of flowering we made the last trainings and we finally could sit back and watch the magic happen. It was really touching and lovely to see how the colors and aromas change from week to week as autumn approaches.
Basically, we could distinguish two phenotypes. One with the purple silk on the leaves and a smaller but rock hard bud structure. The smell of this lady was more pine and sweet at the same time. The other 3 ladies were pretty much the same when it comes to smell and bud structure. Sweet and fruity aromas were characteristic here. Apart from the previous ones, both phenotypes were characterized by cinnamon scent throughout the whole flowering period.
It can definitely be said that it is the most frosty variety i have ever grown. I am really satisfied with the outcome in every aspects.
First the purple pheno went to darkness with our DWC lady and after two days the other 3.
Dried them for 7 days at 21 degrees and 60% humidity and for another 5 days at 50% humidity.βοΈ
Trimming these variety was a bit challenging threw the closed bud structure but it wort all the time. We ended up with 368 grams of juicy, rock hard dried buds and 48 grams of larf and popcorn.
After placed it into glass jars with Boveda 62% humidity pack.
Was a very pleasant strain to grow.
I would like to thank everyone who has had a look, liked or commented on this diary.
Hope its been helpful in some way.
Cant wait for the next journey which will start hopefully at the end of august.
Stay safe Growmies and have a lovely week!π
@Crashoverite, yeah buddy. It really should be transplanted to the final 25litre pot but still waiting for the mycorrhizaβ¦
Thanks for checking in, mate.ππ±
@Qutro, βοΈyou will absolutely smash it bro. If you could spare 5 mins to check some of my diaryβs out that would be awesome ππ»ππ»βοΈ
@FrontRowAG_BrianG, i got ya. This strain became popular in the past year. Looking forward to seeing her growing in your garden. Which seed bank is it?
@Ju_Bps, they are coming along nicely however I am not totally satisfied with the secondary development. Letβs hope for a strong flowering.βοΈπ»π¨
