She’s been on 18/6 light schedule last 3 days. I didn’t give any additional water last week, just sprayed coco surface a few times to keep moist. Gave the first proper watering/feed today. 500ml to 10% runoff. Nothing much happening on the surface but I’m sure she must be busy laying down nice roots!
Today I’m feeling eternally grateful that I have good weed to help cope with my MS flare ups, especially on spastic days like this. I’m grateful that my medicine has been lawful for almost 2 decades and that the stigma of cannabis use has basically evaporated with recreational legalization, making medicating that much easier. I am grateful for sensible drug laws and the expanding knowledge and quality improvements that comes from proper research into this lovely plant. I hope for decriminalization, legalization and pardoning of possession charges around the world and for everyone who would benefit from this plant to have safe access to it
**Update: one of the original catnip seeds has actually germinated 🌱 there will be gifts for the kittens after all
**I’m grateful to my brother for surprising me this week by gifting/installing lights and tarping my leaky patio 😍❤️ he said he was inspired by our gratitude grow and now we have a nice smoking spot ready for the winter!
Happy growing my friends 🌱
She drinks almost 500ml per day, 6 inches tall. We have to wait about 4 more weeks before we have flowering space so we will probably give her 16 tops in total.
Happy growing
We topped her down to node 3 and removed growth sites below, hope it wasn’t too much, watered her in with our collected rain water enriched with the gp3 nutrients 🤞🤞
Happy growing
Friendship plant update: the soil took 2 weeks to dry out and she was watered again today. Growth on every branch but she’s still very “soft” and in recovery. Half dose fertilizer and moderate light, letting the soil dry down, giving her a gentle wake up. Once she’s firmed up, probably in the spring, she will get root pruned and repotted in a good fast draining compost. Then we will wire her and tidy up her bonsai. No signs of roots from the cuttings yet but we know from experience we need patience!
Gratitude practice update: We are growing our practice along with our plants and we are finding more and more reasons to be thankful. I find I’m most thankful for family and it inspires me to do extra little acts of kindness for them throughout my day. That makes the good feelings grow
We will update more later in the week.
