Here on out, I'm not labelling photos on strain since nothing can moved. Refer to prior weeks or spot the stretchy ones. Phenotype "B" in the back right and Phenotype "A" in the Front Left. Since I only journaled SLH... For those interested and who haven't been following, The girls up front are authentic Gold Leaf from original breeder ILGM and the girl in the back right is unidentified found in a bag of some killer smoke. Also, side note, I may have scored with a seed found out of top shelf dispensary out of Michigan of Pineapple Muffin! Anyways, I added the 2nd dose (first one during veg), of bone meal to suppliment soil & gently squeezed the pots to counter top feed compaction (I've done this weekly btw). Moved my supplimental lights up to final destination and now prepared for full flower. Phenotype "B" is properly tagged as it's a "b"east of a stretcher at this point. It definitely has the thickest trunk as well. Meanwhile Phenotype "A", I'm still expecting to produce the largest and densest colas. I'm familiar with SLH and it's general characteristics so I'm pretty confident this will be the case. I noticed I like to predict a few weeks in advance. Like goal setting, but playing by nature's rules. Sorry it's a habit, but I love to see how in tune I still am after all these years. I expect "B" to stretch another 6" before full flower has set in & "A" maybe half that at 3". I noticed that the main LED that came with the tent combo in tandem with the IONBEAM bars x8 (16" & 11" kit of 4, the 16" set is powered by a Universal Power Supply backup battery unit in case of an untimely power outtage!), does an excellent job penetrating light to lower bud sites and so far see equal flowering results. I'm still baffled by these LEDs... so far I'm glad I decided this route vs OLD SCHOOL even though it's been a learning and experimental process for myself. But as of now, I'll leave my final judgement for harvest and the first taste trial cause that's where it ultimately counts. I know I went way out of budget these last few weeks, but I'm in this for the long haul. The UPS, S16 unit, dehumidifier(s), Supplimental Heater, Bone and Blood meal, Cloning equipment, etc have put me down another grand or so. Fingers crossed that this grow nets me some good top shelf with some serious weight for a 3x3! I'm also still continuing the sunset/sunrise adaptive brightness with the brightness jumping levels every 10 minutes all the way up to level 9/10 (90min), and waning down in the same exact fashion except reversed. Update: Supplimental Lighting still on this schedule but updated main lighting to have 6hr sunrise/sunset with max 10 right at the center of the 12hr day (6hrs=360min/10levels = 36 min cycles). I added 10 min buffer on each end of the day when going into flower. In short I'm technically running a 12hr 20min light cycle, to compensate for the sunrise/sunset simulation.

Very nice plants so far, the graduation of the light cycle may not be as important as you may think I've done similarly with my Optic Led 3 way adjustable light and controller after about 3 runs it really made no difference except to cut down on PPFD and DLI. I start at 50% then to needed power then just off at the end. Your investment in gear will pay off!! Nice way to get back into the game best of

@Growdaddy57, Thanks I appreciate it. With my old gear back in the day it was on and done. There was no easing into the light cycle. The new tech is fantastic with a few caveats. For example the controller 69 pro doesn't forward DST to individual ports even though it will update in the main system. Super glad I stayed up to 2am to monitor this. So with all 8 ports customed programed with day and night schedules, that was a slight pain. Old school timers keep trucking along without worry. As far as the graduation of the light cycle... it's really important in my eyes for this specific grow. Let me explain my thinking... The S16 & S11 only take 72 min to fire up to full power and they're actually on 12hr 20min cycles. They're surprisingly bright when tandemed together in a 3x3. On 10 minutes before overhead fixture, Off 10 minutes after. I now have them to full power in 50 minutes stepping up a level every 5 minutes. I have the overhead stepping up in levels every 12 minutes since phenotype "A" of SLH is only 6" from the fixture. I don't want to burn the top. It's became a balancing act and IMO (I don't have a good PPFD/DLI/PAR/LUX meter YET!) I'm striking middle ground quite well. I'm going old school and slowly stepping up and observing along with taking readings using an app. Seems to be working really well so far and if it fairs out, I may wait a little while before committing on buying a good meter. I appreciate you calling it out. I thought about super cropping, but I don't feel that's necessary now. I absolutely would reduce if not eliminate it all together if it wasn't for SLH which has over tripled in size the last 3 weeks. I'll upload pics showing this later on. They're starting to fill out nicely.

@OhioriverHomestead, Nice Bro if you still have some come harvest maybe we'll have to compare our results! Back in the day, before I had kids, I grew this for a minute. Really hoping for that award winning super lemon flavor in one of these girls. They are so different and have been since day 1 so I'm somewhat hopeful to score one this time. If not I still have 2 seeds left. @ILGM don't let me down. That said, I haven't had a SLH pheno that I regretted yet. Last time, had 2 as well (buddy mothered) and one had a lemon zest to it - it was settle and smooth. The other was a chronic high with none of the terps I was expecting. I'm running the Samsung LM301B LED that came with the tent w/ S11 IONBEAM Bars as supplemental lighting on the sides. Come flower I'll be utilizing the the IONBEAM U4 Targeted spectrum as well. If you go back to my first week I give a rundown of equipment & links to each. This LED thing is completely new to me... love the utility savings and how I can adjust brightness on the fly.

Congrats on the legal grow, wish my state was legal too. One day. They're looking great, looks like 10 years absence from growing no issue! You mentioned the small 3x3 tent... I've been using a 2x2x5 tent the past 3 years since it's a low-profile grow. At first I tried fitting 4 plants in there was which nuts. Zero space once they bushed out. I dialed back to 1 plant which worked well. I'll get a bigger tent once it's legal here. Happy growing buddy!

@Chunga, Thanks again. We can't learn unless we experiment. So I 💯 agree with you. As stated in week 1 of diary, I want have fun with it. I've always believed plants in general feed off positive vibes and care. Speaking of funny... or ironic rather, I waited for this moment since the 90s. I've settled down a hair since and decided to have a family. I still live in spitting distance from my home town. Shit goes legal, and here I'm stoked, feeling like I've aquired a small fortune in Amazon stocks... yet all my bros who I envisioned sharing this moment with, are MIA due to cleaning up, getting locked up, dead or got the hell outta Dodge? This is not quite the way I envisioned my first legal grow 20 yrs ago lmao! Not sure how many in this community has experienced this... kinda bitter-sweet. But there are a few of my bros who got their own grows going strong. As of now our harvest looks staggered just right that we've made a pact to aide each other during the trim process. That is the moments I'm looking forward to. We're all growing killer strains that are different.

@CRANKSTER_420, Yep, only a matter of time... once the pols finally catch up with public opinion. it's funny how every grow is an experiment. Your LST looks awesome. Agreed, the tie down would be good for my tent, will be trying it this year. 👍

@Chunga Thanks buddy. It really is ridiculous that this was ever illegal & goes to show it's 100% a money thing. It's still highly discriminated against as far as tax revenues go... which makes each legal state government a cartel by defacto. But each state that flips, makes the possibility of federal legalization that much more real. Which is the ultimate goal IMO. It's only a matter of time. Waited my whole life for this opportunity. It's small setup in relation to what I'm used to that's for sure. I was planning on doing 4... but then I got a seed in a bag and figured wth... and she's doing great as well. So, now I'm to 5 in the 3x3. The bonus plant allowed me to try my first bonsai (Gold Leaf)... which I'm stupidly giddy about and is pale in comparison to the other 4. Honestly, at this moment I wish I tied Everything down like Phenotype "A". Besides being an inaugural legal grow, it's also experimental to find the best method for me and this particular setup. I have no clue how it will turn out, still don't... but it is 💯 effective in height control and comfortably be able to extend the veg cycle by 3-4 weeks easy. But the bushes that are growing next to it won't obviously allow for it. So it won't be able to reach it's full potential which is a bummer of sorts for me. I took a side shot just now and posted it into this week's pics. The stem has actually buried itself into the ground & I'm super curious as if it's taken root? It looks like 12 plants growing side by side. I mention this because I feel this method would work really well for a 2x2x5, as far as maximizing yeilds.
