Impressed by the 5 week flowering stretch. High yeilder & Good smooth smoke. Hints of lemon on Phenotype B on the inhale and straight haze after! Taste great in a wrap! Phenotype A however has no hints of citrus despite it's smell and I really can'tfind a good taste discriptor from the options but it's more smooth than "B", slight pine taste upon exhale but overall I guess I would categorize it mainly as herbal. It packs a bigger hit. So I'm super happy all in all. Also, no couch lock experienced despite heavy Amber ratio on the showcase cola.

Reviews. Lamp
S33: 5 out of 5 for overall performance. Stayed extremely cool and bright. Perfectly sized for the 3'x3' Bundle it came in. Supplimental Lighting S11/S16/U4 all performed very well. The S16 + UPS Backup worked like a charm when I experienced an hour long power outtage after harvesting #SLH while finishing up the other strains. Solid 5 stars for keeping it going. The magnet mounting system on AC Infinity's Supplimental Lighting for tents isn't very well thought out. Weak magnets and thick tent material really has issues and needed reinforced. I chose velcro. Really wish AC Infinity would address this issue and offer a viable solution to those who've already purchased the product. What really makes these LEDs shine is the 69 pro controller and automation that makes setup a breeze.
Reviews. Tent
Tent is well constructed but it has it flaws. It has very thick linings and sturdy poles for a solid grow space, ready to take on the weight of practically anything you can place in it. Everything feels like it's made from quality materials even down to the stitching. Viewing window, side doors and plenty of ports for ventilation and power. Side screens for additional fresh air intake are a nice touch as well. The 4 upper crossbars give plenty of overhead mounting options. The bad. While it has side doors... they don't go all the way to the bottom like the front. The height makes it awkward to water plants in the back, especially if your running a scrog. Is this is to allow room for the side screen vents? I never used those at all during my grow as I had bought an inline fan for the intake. And feel that even without the intake fan, if they would make the screens embedded in the side doors they would be just effective and it would open up plenty of space on the sides to comfortably water plants in the back. Also, wouldn't it be nice for a grow tent manufacturer to add a dedicated port for your humidifier hose to run up that has a real baffle to catch any built up moisture and route it to a drip tray? Yeah simple solutions for real problems are still needed.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to keep it going for a 4/20 harvest and the girls came down on 4/16 ripe and ready, which ended up being for the better as it allowed room to lower the lights to finish off the other 2 strains in the tent. Due to this I cleared my closet and they spent the first 3 days curing there with humidity around 55% and Temps around 65. As far as wet weight... I only weighed what I planned on freezing for Rosin. That ended up being 80.1g from "A" and 57.55g from "B" of untrimmed buds. This will NOT be included in the total net weight when dried. Back into the tent on day 3 to finish up drying at a targeted VPD of .7 which is roughly equating to 67° @ 55% RH. Should be finished in 7-9 days total. Then a trip to trim jail before the cure cycle begins. @GrowDiaries I'm trying to understand why we measure grow space in squared units vs cubic? Especially when running with supplimental side lighting. Anyways, my first diary is nearing it's end and it's been an exciting experience to document a grow from start to finish. Wishing the community the best and HAPPY 420!

Very nice plants so far, the graduation of the light cycle may not be as important as you may think I've done similarly with my Optic Led 3 way adjustable light and controller after about 3 runs it really made no difference except to cut down on PPFD and DLI. I start at 50% then to needed power then just off at the end. Your investment in gear will pay off!! Nice way to get back into the game best of

@ToastFarmer, Thanks I appreciate it. With my old gear back in the day it was on and done. There was no easing into the light cycle. The new tech is fantastic with a few caveats. For example the controller 69 pro doesn't forward DST to individual ports even though it will update in the main system. Super glad I stayed up to 2am to monitor this. So with all 8 ports customed programed with day and night schedules, that was a slight pain. Old school timers keep trucking along without worry. As far as the graduation of the light cycle... it's really important in my eyes for this specific grow. Let me explain my thinking... The S16 & S11 only take 72 min to fire up to full power and they're actually on 12hr 20min cycles. They're surprisingly bright when tandemed together in a 3x3. On 10 minutes before overhead fixture, Off 10 minutes after. I now have them to full power in 50 minutes stepping up a level every 5 minutes. I have the overhead stepping up in levels every 12 minutes since phenotype "A" of SLH is only 6" from the fixture. I don't want to burn the top. It's became a balancing act and IMO (I don't have a good PPFD/DLI/PAR/LUX meter YET!) I'm striking middle ground quite well. I'm going old school and slowly stepping up and observing along with taking readings using an app. Seems to be working really well so far and if it fairs out, I may wait a little while before committing on buying a good meter. I appreciate you calling it out. I thought about super cropping, but I don't feel that's necessary now. I absolutely would reduce if not eliminate it all together if it wasn't for SLH which has over tripled in size the last 3 weeks. I'll upload pics showing this later on. They're starting to fill out nicely.

@OhioriverHomestead, Nice Bro if you still have some come harvest maybe we'll have to compare our results! Back in the day, before I had kids, I grew this for a minute. Really hoping for that award winning super lemon flavor in one of these girls. They are so different and have been since day 1 so I'm somewhat hopeful to score one this time. If not I still have 2 seeds left. @ILGM don't let me down. That said, I haven't had a SLH pheno that I regretted yet. Last time, had 2 as well (buddy mothered) and one had a lemon zest to it - it was settle and smooth. The other was a chronic high with none of the terps I was expecting. I'm running the Samsung LM301B LED that came with the tent w/ S11 IONBEAM Bars as supplemental lighting on the sides. Come flower I'll be utilizing the the IONBEAM U4 Targeted spectrum as well. If you go back to my first week I give a rundown of equipment & links to each. This LED thing is completely new to me... love the utility savings and how I can adjust brightness on the fly.

Congrats on the legal grow, wish my state was legal too. One day. They're looking great, looks like 10 years absence from growing no issue! You mentioned the small 3x3 tent... I've been using a 2x2x5 tent the past 3 years since it's a low-profile grow. At first I tried fitting 4 plants in there was which nuts. Zero space once they bushed out. I dialed back to 1 plant which worked well. I'll get a bigger tent once it's legal here. Happy growing buddy!

@@Chunga, Thanks again. We can't learn unless we experiment. So I 💯 agree with you. As stated in week 1 of diary, I want have fun with it. I've always believed plants in general feed off positive vibes and care. Speaking of funny... or ironic rather, I waited for this moment since the 90s. I've settled down a hair since and decided to have a family. I still live in spitting distance from my home town. Shit goes legal, and here I'm stoked, feeling like I've aquired a small fortune in Amazon stocks... yet all my bros who I envisioned sharing this moment with, are MIA due to cleaning up, getting locked up, dead or got the hell outta Dodge? This is not quite the way I envisioned my first legal grow 20 yrs ago lmao! Not sure how many in this community has experienced this... kinda bitter-sweet. But there are a few of my bros who got their own grows going strong. As of now our harvest looks staggered just right that we've made a pact to aide each other during the trim process. That is the moments I'm looking forward to. We're all growing killer strains that are different.

@@CRANKSTER_420, Yep, only a matter of time... once the pols finally catch up with public opinion. it's funny how every grow is an experiment. Your LST looks awesome. Agreed, the tie down would be good for my tent, will be trying it this year. 👍
