Hey there grow community! It has been a few months since I've last grown medicine and I'm looking forward to hone my growing skills further. I have heard good things about this strain so I'll give it go to see for myself. I look forward to strengthening my existing growing network and meeting new passionate growers.
I dropped this little apricot in a small jiffy pot with soil, added water, and placed the jiffy pot on a heat mat with a humidity dome, 3 days later she spouted... And we are off! After that I planted her in the final 3 gallon fabric pot.
Happy Growing!
Week 1, here we go! The support here has been amazing and I looking forward to meeting more fellow medicine growers, building stronger existing relationships, and helping when I can.
It's been a good start for this little apricot I'm excited about this about this one, I've been hearing so many good things about this strain.
I have my grow light at 80% power at 36 inches from the canopy this week. For my soil I'm using a mixture of Fox Farm soils and organic perlite to help aerate, promotes root growth and prevent soil compaction.
Day 1: Light watering only around the plant with plain PH'd filtered well water
Day 2: Rest Day 😀
Day 3: Light watering only around the plant with PH'd water and biobizz root juice

Welcome to week 2, thanks for stopping by and checking out my Apricot, cheers! 😀
Picking up some steam this week and started to see some decent growth. With some colder night temperatures and to keep her warm I've had to change the light schedule to 24/0 with 30 DLI and she doesn't seem to mind. I plan on going back to 20/4 when I can keep the tent at at least 20C at night when the light is off.
Day 8: Gave her a full soaking with PH'd water and Biobizz root juice
Day 9: Just monitoring and enjoying watching her grow
Day 10: Just monitoring and enjoying watching her grow
Day 11: The first couple of inches of soil was dry so I gave about 1L of PH'd water
Day 12: Starting to see some decent growth

Welcome to week 3, thanks for stopping by and checking out my Apricot, cheers! 😀
Seeing significant growth this week, but noticed some droopy leaves. Not sure what is causing it, usually from what I read it is too much water, which isn't the case. It also could be that the soil is too hot and the drooping is caused by nitrogen toxicity. I haven't added any nutes this week... My other plants aren't bothered by it and they have the same soil mix, maybe this Apricot is a bit more sensitive to nutes. She is growing fast even with the droopy leaves, I'll just continue to monitor.
Day 15: Just monitoring and enjoying watching her grow
Day 16: The first couple of inches of soil was dry so I gave about 1L of PH'd water
Day 17: Started LST by bending over the main stem to open and even out the canopy
Day 18: Just monitoring and enjoying watching her grow
Day 19: Just monitoring and enjoying watching her grow
Day 20: The first couple of inches of soil was dry so I gave about 1L of PH'd water

Welcome to week 4, thanks for stopping by and checking out my Apricot, cheers! 😀
Seeing significant growth and water intake. She is beautiful..
I haven't added any nutes this week... but noticed some curling leaves. Not sure what is causing it, usually it caused by too much water, which isn't the case. It also could be that the soil is too hot and the drooping is caused by nitrogen toxicity. My other plants aren't bothered by it and they have the same soil mix, maybe this Apricot is a bit more sensitive or it is just an genetic thing. She is growing fast regardless so I'll just continue to monitor.
Day 22: Just monitoring and enjoying watching her grow
Day 23: She really started to drink water now... gave about 1L of PH'd water
Day 24: Continued LST and rotated plant in the garden 😀
Day 25: Soil dried out quickly so added more water this time, 1L...
Day 26: Just monitoring and enjoying watching her grow
Day 27: Soil dried out quickly so added even more water this time, 1.5L...
Day 28: Just monitoring and enjoying watching her grow
Happy Growing Everyone!
Welcome to week 5, thanks for stopping by and checking out my Apricot, cheers! 😀
Seeing significant growth and water intake, flowering is really taking off as well. 👈
This Apricot is a picky one, something is off that I can't quite figure it out. I see some brown spots on random leaves and some chlorosis on some random and top leaves. I'm thinking that she just could be hungry, I've been very light on the nutes, I'll increase them to see how she responds. Regardless she is still drinking and growing strong.
Day 29: Just monitoring and enjoying watching her grow
Day 30: She really started to drink water now... fed and watered with 2L, PH'd to 6.5
Day 31: Continued LST and performed a light defoliation 😀
Day 32: Soil dried out quickly so gave about 2L of water, PH'd to 6.4
Day 33: Just monitoring and enjoying watching her grow
Day 34: Feed and watered with 2L, PH'd to 6.5
Day 35: Just monitoring and enjoying watching her grow
Happy Growing Everyone!
Welcome to week 6 grow family, thanks for stopping by and checking out my Apricot! 😀 I posted my garden photo, my tent is getting full.
Flowers are really bulking up this week although I'm having issues.👈 Luckily she looks like she will be ready at week 9.
She really suffered from nutrient deficiencies, I used a new soil combo and I was too light on the nutes and is showing. You can really see the leaf damage. I've increased the nutes to full dose and watering until 20% runoff. I've also started using Real Growers Recharge for the first time. Regardless she is still drinking and growing strong.
Day 36: Fed and watered with 3L, PH'd to 6.5 with runoff at around 20%
Day 37: Just monitoring and enjoying watching her grow 😀
Day 38: Fed and watered with 3L, PH'd to 6.5 with runoff at around 20%

Day 56: Removed all larger fan leaves and didn't water to allow the pot to dry out a bit before harvest.
Happy Growing Everyone!
Harvest week! Man she finished fast, she was super easy to trim and some nice scissor hash. Ended up with 60g of dried flower, not bad for only 8 weeks. I wasn't able to LST as much as I prefer because my tent was so full this run, I'm sure I could have yielded more. The smell is amazing, very fruity and with touch of chemical smell. I'll be posting a smoke report here in about 3 weeks.
Smoke report: I love it! Very happy high, it calms my mind after a stressful day while giving me a peaceful nights sleep. Highly recommend, a pleasure to grow and smoke/vape! Thanks again to my grow family and to FB for breading such great strains.
Welcome to week 9 grow family, thanks for stopping by and checking out my Apricot! 😀

I want to give a big shout out the grow community and specifically @Tropicannibis_Todd, @Sour_D, and @XII_XII_MrGreen for all the help and advice giving during this grow and my other grows. Nothing like having grow buddies there when you need them, thank you again!
BioBiz is not a Synthetic Nutrient, strictly natural organic, watering to run off in soil as frequently as you are watering, can cause its own set of issues, what I found with BioBiz is that you can feed at 50/75% of recommended amounts, or you can feed every other watering, and move up from there, your plants look great, I would be more concerned with over-watering at this point, let your pots dry out a bit and cut back a bit on the nutrients, that's just my thoughts.
@MrJones, Thank you for the advice, I really appreciate it! 👈 I'll cut back on the watering and the nutes a bit. I've been using the BioBizz All Mix feeding schedule for the nutrient dosage and I thought they were missing some nitrogen due to leaf yellowing toward the lower parts of the plant, but I'm not sure what is causing it. It seems I starting running into issues around week 5 with the majority of my grows and I haven't figured out what is causing it and I thought watering to runoff would potentially help. Normally I feed at 1/2 dose every other watering and I let the pots dry out until they were light to pick up, but I increased watering and nutes recently to see how they respond 🙌 These are all lessons I'm learning. 😀 Thanks again for the advice. 👊
@MrJones, Thanks my friend! 🙌 Yes, a very good combo. 😀 She is giving me a bit a trouble right now so I'm trying to adjust my feeding to see if helps. She is growing strong still though and I'm having a blast. I appreciate you stopping by! 👈 Happy Growing! 👊
@gottagrowsometime, Thanks bro for stopping by! 👈 This one has been picky and I haven't dialed in to what she exactly is missing, having some brown spots on random leaves and some chlorosis. I'm learning and having a blast though. Happy Growing! 😀
@Sour_D, Thanks my friend! 🙌 She will be ready for harvest in the next couple of days 😀 Did you harvest yours right at the week 9? I've very surprised she is ready so fast and the smell is amazing! Happy Growing! 👊
@Still_Smoq, It was my fastest harvest to date! I'll be sure to post the smoke report here in a couple of weeks after I get a good cure in. Happy Growing! 👊
@Sour_D, Thanks my friend! 🙌 She has been harvested and I have her hanging to dry right now, trying for a nice slow dry. Definitely strong pungent (in a good way) chemical smell mixed with fruity goodness while drying 😀 Happy Growing! 👊
