Hola.
Gf did great Job nursering this beautiful plant. Thanks Lord 🙏
Filling up nicely and first brown hairs arrived.
Everything good so lets see at next week.
I love water culture. People are shitting on it now cuz of the potential risk of a pathogen infecting all the plants because they all share the same water, but i've done deep water culture for 25 years and i've never had an issue.
@Hattiwatti, You don't even needs H2O2 anymore really. I haven't used that stuff since the mid 90's. In a 5 gal container i have 2x12" air stones in each. As long as you have ample oxygenation in your water you shouldn't have any rot issues, and if you do run across some rot for some odd reason, you can use a Cellulase enzyme to quickly and effectively nip that in the bud. Only thing is you'll have to keep using that emzyme throughout the duration of the grow, because the bacteria in there has a foot hold and you won't get rid of it, only manage it. So the best thing to do is supply hella oxygen to the roots, and keep the water moving. Other potential issue is the enzyme will break down the rotten root matter which can cause some slime in your system and depending on how much rot there is, it could clog up drippers and spray misters in NFT systems and such.
@AutoflowersSucK, could not say it better. lot of peoples that i know have sayd that they want grow in hydro but are afraid of rootrot. i have had it 2 times in decade. checking roots everyday and early h2o2 treatment have helped me. light leak :D dont put all eggs in one bucket they say, different pot for all plants is way to go. water grow is way easier for me than soil. thats why i like also grow in soil :D
@Hattiwatti, I learn so much with every grow. There are so many different techniques I want to try and experiment with. I do a lot of Internet searches but I think I learn the most from people like you. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us!!
@Indicaman2015, thanks a lot. Keep growing and learning. Every plant teach you something. Use what you have learned and girls will thank you. Countless hours of internet searching and trying things by myself have pushed me where im now. Good luck for your Journey 🌿
@Australianbuds, thanks a lot. Lets hope theres not any problems in next 6 weeks. Going for a roadtrip at next week and gf is taking care of this. Have been teaching she and we both have phones so not a big deal.
@Trailblazerz710, i had mine also years before planting it. That plant give nice harvest and i had took clones from it so i know what to wait. Rock hard buds. 9.5week flower time. Lot of defoliation. Make diary if you pop it?
@Fatnastyz, thanks 🙏 lot of pipe cleaners for Lst and good luck. This time its looking like this but not always. I get amazed everytime i open the door. Scent is something heavenly and been sitting there hours just watching it and playing guitar.
@Mordor666, thanks. I really like these plants by myself also. Grow has been easy and everything just ho well :) hope that continues couple weeks more.
@popcornsutton, thanks. I dont remember 🤯 propably at 40%. I measure DLI so it doesnt matter how much you give light if height is right. At that moment DLI is 20. I normally go with more light and higher. If you want save couple euros in electricity you can go 20% and very close to plant.
@HIAZ_urbanbudfarmer, i agree. Summers are hard but i live in north so only month or two are raising temperature of house over 25°c. At summer i have max 27-28 temperatures and have had no problems. I use little bit more silicate at summer.
You can see here lot of different styles. Like that one dwc grow with clear plastic box with Green roots 🤣 i also agree that is simpliest. First time when you hear about it it sounds that only happens in ISS.
@Hattiwatti, Those are some good numbers under 120 watts. Been growing in recirculating hydro for 2+years & see similar results to DWC. I've done 1 grow & harvest in DWC & have always been interested in it. Gave it another go in my last 2 grows but it's middle of summer with temps of around 36°c to 40°c+ day & night! Between 30°c to 35°c in the tent (4x8) , insulated 20 ltr buckets running at least 2 air lines & 1 had 4. Changing out frozen water bottles twice a day! & I still got root rot! Lost 1 plant around 2 weeks from harvest, the other I saved but had to cut out most of the roots & put back into veg. Currently have 3 plants in flower, all got root rot, saved them but had to cut away a lot of roots. Reveged 2 of them for 2 weeks until come good but in the end I had to transfer all of them into recirculating hydro ( a bit more forgiving) & also change them from the 4x8 tent back to the 4x4 tent as the 6 inch adjustable speed exhaust fan works good in this size tent. Around 28°c to 31°c max! To grow successfully in DWC here during the warmer months of the year I would definitely need to run a chiller! & Possibly an undercurrent system. But it surprises me that the majority of growers on GD all seem to grow in either dirt, Coco or perlite/vermiculite. Seems a lot of growers think hydro is hard! When in fact I believe it's easier than growing in dirt or Coco. Top feed recirculating hydro is very easy! Once you set up your system. ( Most of it you can D.I.Y.) it's way easier & less time consuming as most of it is automated on timers, no hand feeding! Can feed more often for better growth. Add your water to reservoir & add you nutrients, pH it, Ec it & change res or top up once a week or even 2 weeks. No daily watering & checking pH off run off water or over watering. I simply check my ph & Ec daily or even every couple of days if you want. My plants get fed for 15 minutes on every 2 hours! Can't really Overwater hydro! Not to mention better & quicker growth & much much bigger yields. Nice quality! Don't be scared gromies! Give hydro a go!
@HIAZ_urbanbudfarmer, thanks. These clones mother gave little bit over 200 and it was smaller. Same setup and everything have went well so i have high hopes to get that 250 what i am aiming for.
