Hello Growmies,
We’re now deep into week 7 with our Bruce Banner x White Russian cultivars, and the pre-flower stretch is in full effect, signaling the onset of the flowering phase. The plants have been responding well to the increased PPFD levels, now at a robust 450-550, which supports their vigorous growth during this critical transition.
Our attention to environmental detail, even without the advanced controls of the Tent X system, has paid off. We have maintained the VPD within an optimal range, thanks to the extraction box diligently regulating the nighttime humidity levels. This careful management mirrors the precision we aim for across all our cultivation spaces.
The nutrient regimen has been adeptly modified to meet the demands of this new growth phase. The Alga Grow has been replaced with Alga Bloom, better suited for the flowering needs of the plants. This switch supports the formation of the initial flower sites and will contribute to the development of robust buds characteristic of the Bruce Banner lineage.
As we observe the plants, it's clear that the typical Bruce Banner monster fan leaves are in abundance. Selective defoliation has been employed to ensure light reaches the developing sites, a crucial step to avoid overshadowing the potential of lower growth points.
The phenotypical expression among our plants showcases a delightful variance, with one taking on a more indica-like bushiness, and the others reaching for the sky in true sativa fashion. This diversity within the canopy adds a layer of complexity to our grow but also a sense of excitement as each plant reveals its unique characteristics.
While the lushness might not be on par with the plants under the expertly controlled conditions, the health and vitality of these Bruce Banner x White Russian plants remain evident. Their deep green leaves, the steady pre-flower stretch, and the early formation of flower sites are promising indicators of the potential yield.
As we move forward, our focus will remain on tailoring the environment and nutrients to the plants' evolving needs. The anticipation of entering full bloom is palpable, and we're on the lookout for the explosive growth and potent aromas that Bruce Banner x White Russian is known for.
Stay lifted,
Salokin
Sounds like it's gonna be a sweet run. Been a fan of ganja farmers stuff, curious how their photos are ..
Best of luck tho I like the idea , gonna look amazing !!
@Grow4Releaf, so far so good, most of them germinated, from the ganja farmer seeds I have 1 GMO trailing behind and the Bruce banner white widow are taking a bit longer, but also have all germinated. I may replace them with some watermelon candy f1 hybrids from the Zamnesia family :)
