Krisis 03/10/24 popped seeds into soil. Sprayed soil with water and covered with plastic baggie.
03/12/24 could see a little green pushing up soil.
03/13/24. Babies fully through soil. Removed bags and placed under a random low watt grow bulb until theyโre a little bigger.
03/14/24 #1 doing itโs thing. #2 has taken a bit longer to open its leaves as the 3rd leaf was kind of covering the other two, but itโs getting there
Thought Iโd try Zamnesia out after looking at some nice grows Iโve seen. So far I am IMPRESSED. The order came in 3 days. Everything was correct and they even threw in some cute stickers, papers, grinder, bottle opener, and a free auto seed to try. I love the seeds packaging as well. Itโs so cute ๐. I thought to myself- alright this has been too good of an experience.. I bet the seeds give me problems. Nope. Didnโt even soak them.. just right into soil and in 48 hours we have babies. Im very very pleased so far. Now to see how these babies grow! ๐ป๐ค๐

Krisis 03/20/24. Not much to report. Both are looking well and growing. #2 has a bit smaller of leaves as an extra cotyledon covered its true leaves for a bit. Not a big deal imo. I have had them under a small low watt grow bulb and will be moving them under the viparspectra before too long. No nutrition to them as the soil has enough for now. Just watering with dechlorinated water when cups are light. Excited to see what these babies will do in the future ๐
Krisis 03/28/24 Here we are into week 2. The little ladies are definitely growing. #1 is looking lovely and #2 is as well, but itโs leaves weโre off to an odd start because of its 3rd cotyledon covering the true leaves as they tried to come out. This seemed to slow her down a bit compared to #1.
Both were transplanted on the 25th and I gave them some terp tea - grow after. They seemed to have loved it and didnโt even look upset from being transplanted. Iโm watering with dechlorinated tap water and will do so when pots feel light. Currently itโs been last watering at transplant.
They are also under the viparspectra 100w light now, (15 inches up at 50%)which they will use during veg, or at least until flower is over for my permanent markers. Then they will move to a 320w. Anyhow, the light is kinda low/close I think, so Iโm watching them and will dim more if they show any signs itโs too much. Theyโve been there for 3 days so far though and seem okay.
Iโm so freakin excited to see the progression of Black Orchid ๐ค
Krisis 04/04/24. Going into week 3. The little ladies seem to be doing well. For a few days I dimmed the light to about 20-25% as I thought it was too much for 2 other babies (zoap) I have under it. Prior to that the node spacing was looking perfect. Now the orchids grew several inches taller and the node spacing looks huge. Iโve increased to 50% again. The stems have thickened up quite a bit since last week. Iโve tried to show it in video.
I havenโt given anything but the tea, which I will be giving again with their next watering. They have been getting about 500 ml dechlorinated every 3 days.
#1 has just been topped today at 5th node. I will do the same with #2 when she is there.
Other than that, just watching them grow and do their thing. ๐
Krisis 04/12/24. Sliding into week 4. The babies are growing like..well..weeds.
Topped #2 two days ago. Will most likely bend main stem over and use lst clip in a few days. Not really loving the tall and lanky thing they had going on, with huge node spacing that happened after I dimmer the light for a couple days that I mentioned last update. Iโve already done it with #1 but waiting for 2 to recover a bit from topping before I mess with her more.
I gave only terp tea once last week. Leaves looking a bit dark so Iโm only going to give water, silica and the tps cal/mag with micros. Supposedly has like no nitrogen.
I think that covers it for now. See yuh on the next one ๐
04/13/24. I guess I didnโt wait that much longer. She seemed happy.. too lanky and ready. Bent over #2 and lst clipped. Added pictures. This node spacing ๐ญ
Krisis These girls are somethin special. I just love them ๐ค
Okay where are we. Yes.. going into week 5
04/19/24. These orchids are so dark. I donโt understand it at all. I havenโt given them a drop of anything other than silica and a calmag that has some micros and claims to have no nitrogen.. in weeks. They clearly exhibit nitrogen toxicity minus leaf clawing.
Today I moved them to the flower tent and getting them acclimated to that environment and lighting change. Going from a 100w to 2 320w. Right now I have them about 30 inches away at 50%. Will adjust if anything seems off.
Yesterday I bent #2โs main stem over more and added more lst clips to try and shape it a bit better. It grew in a way that everything was just all growing into itself and bunched up. Also everything was blocked by her big ol goofy fan leaves ๐ I was going to remove her lower branches, as I did with #1, but one of the branches decided to like top itself or something? Thereโs three branches growing out of like one spot. So, yeah.. couldnโt do it. As for #1 aside from removing lower growth, Iโve been bending leaves and stems with just my fingers to get them to where I want them and theyโve pretty much stayed. Sheโs so easy and perfect.
I will be transplanting them tomorrow. Guess weโre all caught up for now. Happy 420! (Almost for me) comon clock ๐

Krisis 04/26/24. Orchids. Going into week 6. I have #1 just where I want her. #2 isnโt exactly how Iโd like but much MUCH better than where she was. A little uneven still, but I canโt complain. Sheโs still VERY dark and Iโm emphasizing an issue on her leaf which I still havenโt figured out if it was caused from nutrient burn or ph. Either way, still havenโt fed either girls since the tea ONE time awhile back. #1 has lightened up a LOT and looks about right to me now.
Transplanted both on the 21st, I believe it was. Iโm not sure if Iโll flip them to flower now or wait until theyโre 8 weeks. Guess weโll see. Until next time
Krisis 05/03/24. Hopefully this works. This place is giving me so many problems today. This is like my 7th attempt on updating. Ugh.
Luckily not much to say. No food, just water ..still. Just been working on trying to get them shaped right, especially #2. Thereโs a few branches that just donโt wanna grow while the rest want to. I very selectively removed a few leaves from #1 that just wouldnโt stay tucked, and were also a bit thick. So, yeah, other than that, and some growth.. everything is the same as last update. Definitely switching to flower soon. Thanks for lookin
Krisis 05/07/24. Going into week 8. A few days early, but theyโre with my other girls in the tent. No problem though. Theyโre bigger and more ready than the ones ahead.
Added trellis and pushed down longer branches. Selectively defoliated leaves that were in thick areas, and ones that wouldnโt tuck.
Lights at 28 inches and about 70%. Will be slowly lowering the light so as not to go all at once and burn them.
Havenโt fed still and I imagine they will be hungry soon with transition and stretching. Giving them water currently when dry with silica.
Guess thatโs it for now. They go to bed early tonight ๐

Krisis 05/14/24. Going into week 2 flower.
Not noticing much of a stretch so far but that may be because I was always tucking branches and what not. Not going to continue now that I see the start of buds trying to exist. I dunno if that would mess anything up.
Assumed Iโd be feeding by now, but as you can see these girls STILL look crazy dark. Iโm starting to wonder if thatโs just how they look? Just been giving water and Silica when dry.
Humidity about 50-55 and temperature between 75-83. Lights at 75% and 25 inches up.
Noticing a bit of a coffee-ish smell coming from the tent.
Was going to add a video, but everything keeps freezing when I try.
Wellp thatโs about it for now. Thanks for lookin
Krisis 05/22/24. Going into week 3 flower
Everything seems to be going pretty good so far. Finally got a bit of stretch and definitely have some bud formation.
As things are still so freaking dark with these ladies leaves I am still not giving a feeding. Have given them water with silica and calmag when things seem dry.
Plant 1 seems much more leafy and with many more bud sites than plant 2. Most of plant 2โs growth has not made it up to the trellis sadly.
I will be doing some cleaning up of the stuff underneath the trellis and some selective defoliation today or tomorrow.
Lights now about 75% at about 20 inches up. Temperature has been 73-82 with around 50% humidity.
I think I covered everything for now. Thanks for lookin
Krisis 05/28/24. Going into week 4 flower
So not too much to report on this week. The girls are happy and doing their thing. Starting to see some frostiez already which is nice. Doesnโt seem like the little buds have done too much since last week. Thought the bit of stretch was done, but theyโve grown several inches. Probably about done now I guess.
Plant 1 has many more buds and smaller with less frost currently.
I have finally given a very light feeding as a couple very bottom leaves started yellowing. Donโt wanna go crazy since theyโre still dark everywhere else. They hadnโt been drinking anywhere near the other grow I had. These had only been needing water like once a week. Itโs picking up now and seems about every 3-4 days which still seems low to me.
The light is at 75% and about 18 inches away at the moment. They seem happy with this for now.
Well I think that covers it for now. Thanks for lookin
Krisis 06/04/24. Going into week 5 flower.
Not much to say here this week.
Everything is pretty much same as last week.
Seems like things are slow going. I feel like the buds arenโt doing much really and should be bigger. These are a longer going strain than my other so maybe that makes a difference. Maybe Iโm just impatient. Guess weโll see.
Only thing aside from that I find concerning is #2 seems to have some pistils turning color. Seems way too early for that. I keep checking for hermie crap or pollen or something lol. If this was just its thing it seems like both plants would be doing it, but I guess you know what they say about assuming.
Thanks for lookin & have a good week.
Krisis Going into week 6 flower
Havenโt changed much since last update other than watering & nute ratio, which is listed above.
Finally getting some size. Was getting worried lol. Wooo.
Starting to get some bottom leaves yellowing. Drinking lots more water this week. Started to droop within less than 48 hours and itโs usually been about every 4 days. Iโll take it.
Skunky and sweet smells coming from the tent. Starting to travel though the house. Getting really sticky as well.
Yup. Weโre getting somewh
Krisis 06/18/24.
Going into week 7 flower
Not much to report this week.
Havenโt changed anything. Just water, water, feed with ratios listed above.
Getting some yellowing and die off on bottom leaves and some reddish and purples starting on some leaves.
These probably have a few weeks left. Still lots of white pistils and hopefully a lot more fattening to go. I wonโt be rushing these.
I will be checking the trichs here and there starting today- though Iโm sure these will be completely clear. We shall see.
Krisis 06/25/24.
Going into week 8 flower
Approaching the end sorta lol. These probably have a couple weeks left. I havenโt checked the trichomes yet even because thereโs so many white pistils. I will be having a look today though.. just because.
I might start giving water only anyway as Iโm already going to be dimming the light and what not for the other girls finishing.
Copy and paste for next section:
Had a CATastrophe on Sunday. Somehow my little angel cat .. got into the room..and then into the tent and trampled all over the trellis netting and the plants. No idea how she got into the room, much less the tent. It was zipped up with just the top area open for some air. Ugh. Luckily she didnโt break any stems or whatever, but they are laying all over and some hair is stuck to the plants
She was covered in sticky with her fur all matted and terrible. Had to clean her and still some was there. Today sheโs back to having normal feeling fur. Meanwhile..Iโve been trying to get some standing back up as much as I can again. Itโs a mess. Getting the hairs off has been fun too ๐
Weโre just watching and waiting it seems .. and giving dirty looks to the cat ๐พ
Strong healthy plants that fade out to nice reds, pinks, and purples. Was fun to watch it change over time. Seeds popped fast af. Definitely not a strain to feed hard. They get dark and overfed easily. Buds turned out sticky and surprisingly dense af. Pretty good high as well.
Krisis Thought these girls had a lot longer to go than they did. They had some white pistils still so I hadnโt even checked trichomes. When I checked they looked how I wanted them, but I waited about 6 more days when the pistils had also went all orange. I think it was 7/1 that I took them down. They hung for 10 days in the dark at about 60/72 (couldnโt get temp down anymore). Then I got to trimming and also trying to get rid of any stupid hairs from the ninja cat incident.
I got like 98%. With my phone camera I can see a couple I still need to get. Ugh.
Never again. This weed is hairy enough on its own lol. Makes the whole thing look orange.

Plant 2- 113g
