Rainbow cake London mint cake Pineapple express auto pot grow
Turned on the auto pot system. No more top watering but nutrients and ph remain the same. Growth should start increasing rapidly in the next few weeks. Everything is good. I've been using ph down to get ph to 5.8-5.9. The armor si which is a silicate will raise ph so make sure you dial the ph to 5.8 after adding nutrients. Record how much ph down you used so you'll have a good idea on how much each time you refill your reservoir.
Great growth so far. Defoliation and clones cut off. I added recharge to the reservoir three days before the defo. I let res run low and made a gallon batch of nutes adding the recharge. These pictures are towards the end of week 5. Going to be flipping next week.
Flipped to flower. Using same nutrient numbers but added a bloom enhancer. Allowing for a higher ph of 6-6.2 range. The additional bloom enhancer lowers the ph Allowing me to use a lot less ph down as in veg.
Here's some video of day 11 of flower. You can't even tell I defoliated at the flip. Top left is London mint cake. It's the shortest plant and I'm hoping I don't need to reach it in the later stages of flower. Bottom left is rainbow cake and the big girl on the right is pineapple express. She's much more leggy considering I started them at the same time.
Same nutrition amount as last week. Just letting them stretch out. No issues so far.
Stretching finished and I decided to defoliate this is day 22 of flower. On day 20, I added nute Recharge to my normal nutrition amount from last week. I usually add this a couple days before I defoliate. Run your reservoir low then make 1 gallon worth of feed per plant your running into. I'm running 3 different plants so I made 3 gallons worth. That amounted to 1.5 of recharge. I usually allow reservoir to empty, and I clean it out and add normal nutes back without the recharge. Recharge messes with my ph machine and doesn't give accurate readings.
Plants are doing great and getting frosty. Even the fan leaves are getting a large amount! Same nutes as last week minus the recharge. Next week I will increase my nutrition. Week 5 is the only week I do this. I increase the bloom, and bloom enhancer.
Week 5 finally here. So this week I increased my bloom from 9 to 12ml per gallon. I also increased my koolbloom from 3 to 5ml per gallon. The others stay the same. There is already a crazy amount of frost on the buds and fan leaves. I had to check with my magnifier to make sure my plants weren't sick lol. I will return to normal numbers after week 5. I've had no issues yet. Keeping my fingers crossed 🤞
Week 7 is ending today. I decreased my Macro nutrient by half. This week will probably be my last week using it. I took the Armor Si out of the regimen completely. I started using terpenz at 5ml per gallon. No issues still. Keeping my fingers crossed for everything to continue on cruise control. The rainbow cake and London mint cake is super frosty. They all have a pretty strong smell. I have clones and will continue to run the strain I like the best.
Day 53 of flower today. I filled the reservoir from empty and stopped using the macro. I replaced it with General hydroponics Ripen at 5ml a gallon. Everything is frosty and smells good. As far looks I like the RC the best and the PE the least. I'm going to end up with a sheet ton of it out of the 3 so I hope I'm wrong! 😆
I'm going to do a lower defoliation mid week to get more air flowing. RH is stable but I just want to be careful 🧐 being this close to the finish line. This is definitely one of the easiest runs I've had. It seems PE is pretty maxed when it comes to nutrition but LMC and RC could take a bit more. My PE phenotype is super stretchy compared to them as well.
Day 61 of flower 🌼 today. On Day 59 I used koolbloom one last time along with a dose of recharge. Going forward I'll only use the Ripen this week and allow the flushing out to continue.
Rainbow cake is almost finished and looking great. The listed flower time is 68 days, so we're definitely getting close. The fan leaves are really green still so there's definitely some more flushing needed.
Pineapple express is flushing at a faster rate than the other 2 plants. I recon it's the size difference. Flower time is listed at 56 days but it's not showing finished yet. Buds still have a lot of white pistols and a lot of clear tri. Hopefully she'll be good in around 10 days.
London mint cake is doing well. Flower time is listed at 60 days. Tri is 50 percent cloudy and 10 days of flushing out will put her ready right on time.
Thanks for checking my diary everyone. See ya next week!
Day 68 flower. I stopped using the Ripen on day 65. Since then I've been using Florakleen at 2tsp per gallon and RO water only for flush.
Pineapple express is flushing at a faster rate still. I had to brace several colas because of the size so I'm really watching closely for any molding issues. I'm planning to hang her up at day 71ish.
Rainbow cake is turning a little purple. It looks like its almost finished and I'm planning to pull around day 71 as well.
London mint cake is finishing up nicely. I think she's going to need a little more time flushing so she might get pulled a little later than the other 2.
Hope you like my pics and videos!
I harvested at day 75. This strain was easy to grow. The frost is crazy, and the buzz is very good. I'm definitely planning to continue this strain in my growing lineup.
Thanks for checking out my diary and taking this wonderful journey with me. The grow went really smooth using autopots. I'm definitely sold on them. I used an updated version of the lucas/head feeding schedule. This formula is the cheat code when using coco and autopots!
I took some clones of these 3 and decided to do another run. I'm adding additional nutrients and want to compare and see if it's worth the extra money. Please be sure to check out that grow 🙏 😊
I harvested at 75 days. This is a very good strain. The taste and effect is perfect for me. I made clones to run this strain continuously. Definitely recommend this strain.

Flowered for 75 days. The yield on this strain is big. Colas are big and plentiful. My pheno stretched a lot at the flip stage. Smell is amazing. Taste was a little more earthy. The smoke is pretty good as well.

@Hattiwatti, thanks 😊 I appreciate that. I actually have 2 other plants running under the same reservoir. Pineapple express and London mint cake. I'm documenting those as well and will post them shortly. These auto pots are amazing!
