Week 9: I can see the appeal of automatic flowers, especially if you have these genetics and your grow dialed in because they can yield a few ounces in a very quick time frame.
She started showing a bit of deficiency, rust spots on leaves here and there, I think it was cal-mag deficiency and I think I resolved it. This girl probably has another three weeks to go.
It will be interesting to compare her to fast bud's GSC after they both cure!
Thanks for stopping by and Happy Growing!
@Ganjagrandaddy,
By design (I lay the plant on its side when I plant them in the permanent pot) and also... I think it's my stunting them during Veg. I can't seem to get automatics to get large during veg time and then boom, they start stretching and flowering.
Thanks!
yeah you topped her man, Fimming is literally just the top bulb of the new growth its like snipping just the tips of the leafs no stem its tricky. should top out with 4 tops now anyway, good luck
@FluffyTheTestPig,
I've done it successfully before, but I am still a noob at this, hehe, and realized I got too close to the stem, doh!
I'm growing a couple of photoperiods so I can practice and stop messing up on such elite genetics like Mephisto!
@badirama,
I tried with a humidifier and then stopped because it was raiding temperature, also I have a flowering plant in the same tent and was afraid of mold. But, I found a gallon plastic water bottle that I cut out and "domed" the young plant. Thanks for letting me know. I have to dome some other younglings I have in there now!
Great work! like what you did here with the training and hope I can pull off something similar with my 4 FS ladies. Thanks very much for sharing your process.
Cheers!
