6 seeds out of 7 made it under the "sun". The "bad seed" had a nice white root inside the rockwool, but for some reason it could not open up the seeds shell and rotted inside. I opened it up with a pair of tweezers and let it be for a few days, but it did not show any signs of life, so.. 😢 On the 3rd day I noticed the leaves getting larger, so I decided to move the light closer to the plants. It was about 75 cm, now its about 53 cm from them. Today I also noticed that the coco-perlite mix emits a lot of water. So I gave them some water again even though I gave them water the day before. I also set up the AIRDOME system and turned it on from now on. There's one in every pot and I got 2 airpumps pumping oxygen inside the medium. On the 4th day it got a few degrees (C°) warmer outside. So did the inside of my growing room. Opening up windows did not help to bring the air down a few degrees from 30, so I had to make a fresh air intake system. It's hanging there on the picture right above the automatic moisturizer. By the end of the day I got the temperature back to 25C° 🤞 5th day was still warm. Fresh air intake stayed on. 6th day I switched off the intake, but put it back on later. Most of the room was 25 degrees, but the far corner was too hot. I have a laser thermometer which is very handy for measuring the medium, solution and every surface I need. I have watered them every day since day 3. Some days twice with small amounts - MISTAKE! One of the babies turned droopy and I was shown the limits. No more overwatering! 7th day / ONE FULL WEEK from transplanting them. The droopy one looks very nice again today. Me happy 😊 The week has been full of action to keep the environment as perfect as possible. Tomorrow its fathers day - I hope to make my girls proud 😇

I have been quite stressed about all the new things even before I started. There are so many different things that could go wrong in a new environment and with an unfamiliar medium/setup. This week I had some major problems with heat. It was my equipment that needed upgrading. After one week I started thinking about connecting autopots with my brand new flexitank. To do that I separated Blue Dream from another strain. I had to split 12 trays under 2 400w HID lamps. That makes 6 trays under one light, which is perfect for connecting the pipes and placing them evenly. After placing the trays, installing the second light and switching it on, I begun to deal with the piping. The bad news here was that I did not get all the parts from the shop and I had to call it a night. Before I left I took my last glimpse inside the room and I noticed that the temperatures had already been rising to over +27C. Curious that I am (as much as stupid sometimes), I CLOSED THE ROOM WITH BOTH LIGHTS ON! It was +33C inside the room when I got back and after a while the lights switched off. I was reading everything on the subject I found to be useful until I passed out. MORNING IS WISER THAN EVENING Next day I confessed myself I have made a mistake by choosing new lights without cooling. I counted on the fact, that it gets really cold outside and the room where my growing space is, gets really cold too. So I looked up my cooltube, cleaned it, assembled and installed it. It worked perfectly and I got the the temperature back to +28/29C, which is still too hot for the weak young plants. Resizing the old - and making a new, bigger intake-valve did not have any effect whatsoever. Time for second confession: my exhaust fan is not enough for my new growing space. In the matter of a few hours I had 2 things on my shopping list (cooltube + exhaust fan) and the shops were already closed. Now I could see that some of the plants take it more serious than the others. The leaves were getting droopy and then I relized that I have forgot to water them while I was busy with the heat and I quickly made a light solution. What a mess! Finally, by the end of the next day I got everything under control. In 3 days I had to: -get 1 new cooltube -assamble 2 cooltubes and install them to a reflector that is not meant for cooltubes -get new exhaust fan thats enough for 6 m3 -get an Y joint for connecting the tubes to exhaust fan -get ventilation pipe -install the new fan -connect cooltubes to fan -make new and resize old fresh air valves -install and connect the autopot system LESSON LEARNED WELL Now for the last 3-4 days its always +25C again and most of the girls look lovely. Unfortunately heat or cold stress in the beginning of an autoflowering strains life might stunt it for good. My NL auto got cold when I left it outside for a cold night after a hot early summer day. It only grew about 35 cm and gave 20 grams dried herb.

This week was full of waiting. Some of the plants seemed overwatered so I turned off the autopots and emptied the treys from water. Just to be sure.. Hand watering at least a few more weeks. Started low-stress training by bending down the tops. No toping or fiming this time, but I accidently dropped the reflector on one of the plants and the top was cut off. Now it has 2 pre-flowering tops by accident. 👌 Some flowering is starting to happen to some of the girls. It's obvious this strain is very resistant to heat compared to some others, but high temps must have effected some of the weaker ones. I think that mainly because not all of them look the same "age" or at the same growing stage. One seems to be XL compared to all the others. I am sad I had temperature issues right at the beginning of the grow. Im sure I lost some of the potential this beautiful cannabis strain has. Next grow.. 😉

Last week the plants were getting pretty yellowish. Looked very much like N (nitrogen) deficiency. N def. can be caused by too much P (phosphorus) which clogs up N intake. So I cut off the COCO B and started spraying leaves with a 3x higher than normal solution COCO A. "Straight to the veins"; as my grower friend said. I have watered the girls every 2-3 days now and they have grown a lot since last week. I also did some adjustments to temperature levels and light distance. Daily temps are now between +27C and +29C so the nutrient intake should be much better. The light was moved closer to plants. "Back of the hand tested" for optimal distance. Happy gardener - I & I. Jah blessings 🙏

This week went extremely well. I doubled the amount of Coco A and did not add any Coco B in the solution for the last time. Added half of the recommended amount of Canna Boost. Next time was flush with a very light solution. Pictures are taken 24h after the flush. They are drinking a LOT now and my experience says it gets only worse from now on. Im thinking about connecting back the autopot system.. Is it safe to do that now that I have flushed them? What do you think?

Hi. I got myself those autopots with a flexitank and connected them after rooting (~12 days). I disconnected the system after 3rd week seeing girls gettin a little 2 yellow and droopy so often. Would it be safe to connect autopots back on now? 1st timer in autopots and coco. Thnx

Hello ! I think you an plug that tank back. What happened to me is that the coco was wet during a long period each time the valve did deliver water because you roots system was too young to use that much water. But now you have a fully formed roots system then you can go safely with it. I hope it will help you 😁✌️🏼

I connected back the autopot system about 4 days ago. I'm not 100% happy with what happened next. New growth between the flowers looks really droopy. Only new, upper leaves are effected. It's like they get too much water. But not all of them show the same signs and not even all the branches of the same plants are affected. I'm very confused, since I have airdomes that pump air 24/7 to the roots. Look at picture #3! 2 out of 6 are still not making flowers. I did not know that an autoflowering strain could veg for so long. I hope they will be huge. Any ideas about why the tops look so droopy? I would be glad if someone with experience could help me with it. Peace and Merry Green Christmas potheads! ✊😃

It was a mistake to connect back the autopots. For some weird reason (i'm a newbie with coco and autopots) they did not have enough air despite the fact I had airdomes in every tray. My second guess would be that some shit was left in the flexitank despite washing it with hot (+75C) water and this caused the plants to react. IDK! 😐 First I thought it was N toxicity, (could be the case either way) and flushing was done right away with half the amount from normal feeding schedule and they were left to dry out for 4 days. 2 things I noticed while doing the flush were that the runoff water's PH was way too high - 7.5!!! and some of the roots were slimy and brownish. Today I feed them again like I would "normally" do, but added GHE Subculture (0.05g per 1l). 2 of them are still not making flowers. Could it be that they are NOT AUTOFLOWERS?

I was away for 5 days this week. Unfortunately it got very, VERY cold outside while I was away and my heating system setup was on too low. It is obvious now that they got a little bit too cold. The colors of the leaves and the way they are holding is not totally ok. Daily temps were around +20C and nightly (I assume) were around or below +15C. 😞

All 4 (flowering) girls seem to be in different stage. One of them them is specially frosty and has some big buds on it 😍. Its highest top is about 63 cm. Some curling has occurred on the tops, but only with this pheno. I have lowered the nutrient dosages by approx. 1/3 after it started. The other pheno is small and bushy with beautiful white, medium size buds. Highest top around 56 cm. Unfortunately, this one seems not to be as frosty as the first one. Maybe later? 1ml of Bloombastic added to the solution, once in a week, until flushing starts. Third and fourth phenos are both quite leafy compared to other two. They seem a bit slower in maturing too, but they're higher and bigger in size. 73 cm and 68 cm at their highest. Smaller one seems to be more mature than the higher one. I'm a bit worried about those two though.. 😕 #VEG (on the pictures): "We are from the same package and stared growing at the same time." I noticed right at the beginning, that those 2 phenos are different than others. Their growth pattern and size were beautiful and more symmetrical to me. Thats because this is my first indoor-autoflower and first coco grow ever. I have only grown reg. fems (DWC) before and this is why those 2 seemed more healthier to me. I panicked many times along the way cause I just did not recognize autoflower's growth pattern. Was worried about them not starting to flower on week 5 or 6 already. Did not know that you can have regular feminized seeds as autoflowers. This is by far the longest veg. I have ever done (by accident of course). One of the girls is 92 cm and other one 82. They have been under 12/12 lightning for 2 weeks and just now I see white pistils appear here and there. Some defoliation was done to them today. Hope to get some massive buds out of those two. If I may.. 😜

Two out three seem to be ready(ish) to crop. Lowered the nutrient dosage to 1/4 of recommendation. Plain PH water after this week for a few days. Two, less mature plants, seem to be yielding low, as the buds are small and the branches are still visible. I blame it on too much N, when it did not need it and max/min temperatures I have had in the room. They might grow some more, but I have my doubts. Other 2, that turned out to be regular fems are doing great! They have many nice flowers forming everywhere, specially after spending some extra time with the girls doing LST, supercropping and light defoliation. Will be doing more heavy training next week, after cropping two of them early girls. All the bets are on these two monsters now! 😌 Thank you for your for caring 🙏I'm glad to share it

Building up nutes for decent bloom. Flushing every 3rd or 4th time. Did some more HST, LST and defoliation. They liked it very much and and now, despite their hight, they have more lights on the lower budding sites. I (almost) never take off the lowest branches, that have small budding sites that have grown hard and wooden like. I have seen it hurting them a lot more than it's finally worth. Added one 150w full-spectrum LED corn type light in the flowering room in between the buds. More light = more bud I still have 2 autoflowering patients in the room. They do not seem to mature as fast as they should. I put it on the cold temps I have had at nights (+16C). I switched off ex. fan for the nights. No cold air coming in now. They responded accordingly. Back on track now (+18-19 at nights). Thanks for stopping by! Jah bless 🙏

Great week. Raised nutrient dosages a fair amount. Knowing they are not autos made feeding them so much simpler for me. One of the phenos has an amazing pungent citrus smell. Never before I smelled a plant that sour. The other one is great as well and growing like crazy, though not so smelly. Wish I had more space for them.. Keep growin' everyone 👊

Last one standing. I gave her a boost of nutrients, but she is so hungry that I can not keep up with her needs. She is exploding right in front of me. She has a very strong LEMON smell I never smelled before. Just WOW 😍

She's a lady, I'll tell you that. She stopped eating as much as last week so I lowered the nutrient amounts. Trichomes start to look milky under a magnifier 👌. Will be giving her a good flush in few days and then last harvest out of this batch. Thank you for stopping by, cheers!

1st Harvest - WEEK 11 Had to cut 2 girls (#P1 and #P2) a bit too early for my taste, but I chose to do it anyways. I was out of smoke, simple as that. I had some issues at the very beginning and some at the end. First heat and overnuting with N and then temps as low as 6C made their cut. Very good strain to grow, forgives a lot. I am a beginner with coco and with autoflowering strains, but still got ca. 75 grams out of one plant. I messed up with the watering pace and some phases of the autoflowering plant confused me and I was not sure how to feed them correctly. 6.5 points out of 10 : 1: 2nd Harvest - WEEK 12 This one is quite green and leafy, but smoke tastes good and gets me trough the day. This one seemed bigger than it was. Actually #P3 was lowest giving with only 50 something grams. 5.5 points out of 10 : 1: 3rd Harvest - WEEK 13 This one is branchy and thin. For my surprise it gave 80 grams. Smoke tastes OK, but this one is a little light to my taste (too much N). 5 points out of 10 😳 4th Harvest - WEEK 15 This one turned out to be a regular feminized seed. I was so confused about this and the later one. Unfortunately I had a one minor power outage and one major that caused the temps to go as low as below 10C. Latest one happened during day time so one of the girls freaked out and turned hermie with bananas or nanners. I removed her from the growing room and made her a "dick removal operation". Few days later I noticed new "dicks" turning up and she was not taking in any nutrients, so I cut her early/forced-ready. The buds look, smell and taste very good. Only thing is, that it stayed so thin - I like it thick! 90 grams from this one. 7,5 points out of 10 : 1: 5th Harvest - WEEK 17 This beauty was the winner of this round. She gave 102 grams of dried buds and smelled fantastic. Aromas and smoke are delicious and I would definitely recommend this kind of herb to any toker. Smoke is not harsh despite the fact she is covered in trichomes. Will be curing her longer for sure. 8,5 points out of 10 : 1: Thank you for stopping by. It was my pleasure to share this "blues and drama" with you. I'm quite happy with the results for a noob. Living and learning 😉😇See ya* around!00
