My apologies on the delay this week! Grow diaries wouldn't allow pictures to be uploaded for some reason! We're back in the Mars Hydro Clone Tent, getting a decent start for next run. This week I transplanted the new seedlings along with my clones of the number one pheno of Raspberry Ripple, into new .5 gallon seedling pots. I'm hoping to use these pots to push through until I harvest and dry my current flower run. I gave all the plants in the clone tent a dose of 1/2 tsp dose of Mykos WP by Xtreme Gardening and 1 Teaspoon of Roots Organic Trinity today. I now consider these plants to truly be in a vegative growth stage, with a more harden offed stalk, 5 fingered leaves and begging branch growth.
Ethos Lilac Diesel #22 (x) Grandpa's Cookies #7- This seedling was still growing very well! It's stalk has began to thicken up a lot more this week and its branching has began to fully develop! It was standing tall at 12 inches so I went ahead and topped this seedling at the newest growth, in the most minor way possible. It reacted well to the transplant. It had an okay root system when I removed the seedling pot, some at the bottom of the pot already. I used more build a soil lite for the transplants with some Mykos from Xtreme Gardening.
HSO Tow Truck- The Tow Truck seedling is also doing well from what I can tell! Its starting to work on its first set of branches and has kept up its trait of the large indica looking leaves. It stayed a lot shorter at only 8 inches tall so it has not been topped yet. It's stalk is a good bit thicker than the Ethos Seedling though! When I transplant this one it barely had much of an established root system, over half the soil fell away when the small pot was removed. It's quite a large plant to have such a small root system and it seemed to react to its transplant well despite this. So I'm hoping it gets a better spread in a little more soil.
Mosca Seeds Raspberry Ripple #1 and #2- The Flowering room is on day 44, this week I used a third 2 oz dose of Peach Ferment by Fermented Plant Extracts of the run and then 4 ML of Fish Shit by Fish Head Farms the next watering. Both these products are intended to help break down the soil and activate and stimulate the food web. The 15 gallon pots I have my number one phenos in are holding up better than the 5 gallons from last time, the plants are much greener. The 5 gallon pots with the number 2 Phenos lost a lot of color and dipped off and I couldn't get it back. However the buds are still looking really good and they haven't faded much more since I gave them some Langbenite. I'm thinking they'll make it to the finish line. I'm still picking off stray yellow leaves, here and there. The calyxs haven't swollen as large as they did last time when I had that light go out during the flower run. I'm digging the size of the buds I'm getting off the HLG Blackbird. Even some of the lower branches still have some solid nugs on them, so I'm getting good canopy penetration! We sit at about 850 par in here on the taller number ones and the shorter #2 Phenos are about 700. The cover crop in the 15 gallons is going nuts and getting pretty tall and dense. I'll probably trim it up around day 55 and have it low when the plants finish! I've enjoyed using it, as a bio accumulator it's constantly bringing nutrients up from the soil and making them available in the topsoil, it also makes the water retention super even! The second it really got going I no longer had any dry pockets in the soil and it never got hydrophobic. The clones from these strains are all doing well. The number ones are growing way faster per usual. I topped them with the ethos Seedling. I can't wait to do a whole 4 x 4 quadrant full of Raspberry Ripple #1. I currently have my flower tent set up into 2 4x4 quadrants.
This week was a busy one, but as the flowering plants near the end here soon the workload will slim down. Thank you for checking out this entry of my grow diaries! Until next week! -Starfish
good job bro keep going. i can see the purple colors are coming out . you are one of few persons i saw to do cover cropping beside main plant you did great job dude your terpens will flow
@Grower_Of_Persia, the cover crop seemed to really help even the soil out. I noticed it helped keep this layer of moisture in the top soil and keeps it from getting hydrophobic. Thank you for your feedback and checking out my grow diary!
