Started with paper towel method on 10 seeds from witch all 10 started taproot and in the end 5 popped. 1 had some weird problem where head stayed stuck underground halfway, and when I freed it, it still had embryo on the leaf. Don’t think that one will live. “Repoted” them to 100x100x40 agrawool cubes on Sat, that were soaked day before with EC 0,6 and pH 5,7. Starting them under Viparspectra p600 and will be moving them under bigger light as time will come.
Only used foliar feed of Velokelp to promote root growth. Waiting for more roots to grow out before putting them to nft system. So excited for my first hydroponics shot :3
As said, I am learning and plants died :( I am sure it was watering badly. They were underwatered because my friend told me, that they were over. So I wanted to wait. Well you live, you learn from mistakes :D Next one will be on spot. Will be using scale to control water content as I don't have it in hand :D But I will learn it ;D Will try to plant those 2 that seem to be fine somwhere outside in some prefretilized soil.
Those 2 were were looking good (left one is slightly burned(1,2 EC too high for wool), but seems happy) and I diden’t wanted to scrap them, so I decided to get 25l air pot and soil, as I will still have free tent after new sprout. I’ll test to get roots of one cube to burry without cube to prevent mold. If it works, I’ll continue this diary. When life gives you lemons :D
D5: tried to rip one cube (one that is more burned) and save as much as I could of the root zone, but some roots are gone. Had to test it out. If she dies, I’ll just put second cube on top of soil after extracting this one. After transplant watered with 800ml around plant. pH 5.9, plain water (Canna Terra Plus). Wonder how this experiment will take off. Will be using Cannaboom fertilizers after/if she gets acclimated. :)
At start she had some deficiency (ca,mg that’s why so pale after transplant and seemed like Fe maybe?) anyway finally get to use Cannabom fretilisers and she seems to love them. I used plain water with pH 5.8 and then Viven Blood + Brutalzym to correct defficits and also VeloKelp + MagnifiCal as foliar. Removed bottom leaves as they were completly shaded and had burned tips from weeks before.
On D3 watered with brutalzym and topped for second time + slight defoliation (mostly shaded leaves). On D4 I used foliage feed of Boom Boom in the morning and on D6 defoliated again and feed with Raimil, Boomrapid, Goma and Biotonex, but I diluted it in 1,5l witch gave me 1,1 EC. Then I added magnifical and gotten to 1,2 EC (0,8-0,9 ml I think on that 1,5l).
Continuation from last week. I make like 200ml of Boom Boom so I use 1 ml for my needs. Little ones are already out in NFT so she could go into middle and I could use net to start ScrOGing her. First time for me but seems nice already. Sorry for some photos. My phone focus got damadged on one of the lenses. Also my feed schedule is Viven Blood + Brutalzym and on next watering Raimi, Bio, Goma and Boomrapid. Recomended dose is for 1l, but I use it for 1,5l and EC fits perfectly. I give her 1, mabye 2 more weeks of veg :)
Last weed of veg. She covered space pretty well. Tried to push biggest branches to sides so middle can get some light and defoliated few leaves daily. Stopped with Brutalzym + Viven Blood and gave her plane water. Gotten Rezin from Green Planet as gift to my order and as it doesn’t increase EC, I put it straight in 😅 Also gave her calmag (to increase EC from 0.3 to 0.4).
Finally was happy how she filled out that space and switched her to bloom. She is looking happy and growing well. Have not seen any problems. Had problem with soil not holding water and watered like 1,6l per 2 days, but took my time, watered in intervals 300 ml/10 minutes and now she can hold 2,3l, witch is ideal (dident used full 25l bag of soil). Did some defoliation on D7 and took out bottom branches to get more light penetration so buds can develop better.
I am leaving for music festival and plant will be left on for 4 days. I have borrowed a dripper and bought digital timer. It’s calculated for roughly 2.2l of water that will turn right after light will turn on. Feeling nervous regarding that 😅😂 but hopefully I prepared it well. Have only BioBizz ph down, witch doesn’t hold ph down for so long, and I think plants will get water with ph of 6.8-7.0, but if that will be one time, should not be a problem :) I’ll add a photo as soon as I am back. So excited to see difference as I have not been away for that long and I am usually checking her daily.
D4 I feed her before leaving EC 1.9 (+0.2 from cal mag) pH 6.4 and set up drip irrigation with plain water.
D7 Yeeees :D Just returned and I set it up correctly :3 So glad it worked.
Feed on D1 she seemed a bit limp. But she just needed water and some defoliation. On D2 it seemed like I could see slight tip burn on tips, but seems happy still (might be a light burn, not from feed, but that sound like a joke under 100w light 😅). Used soft water (0,3 + cal mag = 0,4 and nutes +1,69). Let’s try to push her to max. (Not using Brutalzym for feed).
D3 - Watered with Brutalzym (2ml/l) and Rezin (2ml/l) roughly 2.6l of water. EC 1.2 from Brutalzym pH 5.9. Also added second trellis just in case, she might need some support in future ☺️
D5 - have full feed without calmag and ended at 2.0 EC. Let’s see if tips stay same or get worser. Based on that I’ll see if I can push her further :) pH of 6.1. She is getting more fragrant every day :3
D7 - Same like D3, but pH was 6.4. She is getting nicely frosty :3 Also she started to smell a bit more, but it is sweet smell.
D1 - Watered with brutalzym at pH 6.5
D3 - Feed. Unfortunately my EC Meter broke, so I went for 2,6l of water but mix was made for 2l only (eg. only 2 ml or Red Boom for 2.6l of water, just to keep it safe). Also burn on tips so wanted to slow down a bit. pH 5.9.
D5 - watered brutalzym pH 6.1
D7 - Feed 2.8l 2.0 EC, pH 5.8. The smell is amazing. Smells sugary/fruity :)
D2 Feed - Removed some small leaves on the bottom that got no light and few leaves that were blocking buds from getting light. It was just light defo. EC 1.9 pH 5.8. SuperBoom Compactor is powder, but we can't select g/l :D Anyway its 0,5g per liter.
D3 Watered in the evening (my stupid ass forgot that I feed her day before, lucky it was in the morning and now in the evening). Brutalzym + Rezin. EC 1.3, pH went down to 5.4, so I put airstone in my res and it went back to 6.0 in like 10 minutes (smart way to get pH up if you screw up :D mabye that is thanks to using BioBizz pH down, witch is organic).
D5 Did some light defoliation (mainly leaves that were not getting light and some that were shading buds and some few bigger ones on sides, so they don't suck energy) and fed her afterwards. pH 6.0 EC 2.1.
Unfortunatly i had to be hospitalized and asked my friend to take care of her. But he did good job. Can’t blame him. Now I am home and I can take back the reins :) edited feed based on week. Those heatwaves sucks :S
D4 - brutalzym + rezin pH 5.6
D6 - Feed EC 1.9 pH 5.8
D1 watered with Rezin and More Grams. EC 0.6 pH 5.8. She drank almost 4 liters with almost no runoff.
D3 Feed EC 1.8 pH 6.4. 3 l with no runoff. So sad of her colour, but I should not break my skull xD Learned from that mistake :D
D4 checked her out under microscope and i am already seeing some amber colouring. Thinking of starting flush slowly.
D5 feed but removed SBC already. EC 1.4 pH 6.1
Final week :3 Forgot to water in the evening on D2 so i did on D3 with flash clean. Gave her 3.5l so she gets flushed as much as possible. I was easing off on EC (terpenum + more grams had like 1.2-1.3 and last feed was only MG and EC was like 0,5-0,6.
Such an amazing strain after month of curing, I can say I taste so smooth and sweet. I just love it!! 76g in the end. Would have been more if I could care for them by the end but she still taste amazing.
@Biotabs, Thank you, that Boom Boom of yours is AMAZING!! :D I sprayed them in the morning, and after 9 hours I came back from work, you could see the effect it had and she loved it :)
