Sunday - Day 15 23 June 24 - New week begins. - Mixed one gallon according to the Lotus Nutrient chart Base water PPM 58.8 PPM Add .25 tsp of cal mag 240 PPM Add 1.25 tsp of grow 930 PPM It should only be 800 PPM. - Buffered 1 Litre of this mix with 1.5 Litres of fresh water and brought it down to 400 PPM. - So 2.5 litres at 400 PPM at 6.23 PH -Removed the janky leaves let’s see how she gets on. - I’m starting to really hate this Lotus line of nutrients. Tuesday - Day 17 25 June 24 - She’s looking really good. - Seems happy with the last feed. - Switched to my HLG 350 R spec light - 460 Par Thursday - Day 19 27 June 24 - Big day for me today. - upgraded the set up by installing a vent so my tent now vents to atmosphere and not into the lung room. - She’s still looking happy - Had some good growth today. Friday - Day 20 28 June 24 - Watering day - 2 litres of tap water at 58.1 PPM - Final 2 litres at 6.08 PH wt 63.6 PPM - Adjusted light intensity to 510 PAR/PPFD Saturday - Day 21 29 June 24 - She seems happy. Maybe going to need a feed soon. We’ll see. This is the end of week three. I’m hoping she’ll have some explosive growth this coming week.

Sunday - Day 29 7 July - She’s not been looking well the past few days. - I think the PH was a bit too low these past waterings. - She’s looking like she’s starting to come back around. - No water for the past few days. Monday - Day 30 8 July Feeding day. 4 litres of dechlorinated tap water - Base water at 59 PPM - Add 1/4 tsp of cal mag - 186 PPM - Add 3/4 tsp of grow - 585 PPM Final 3.5 litres at 6.25 PH at 599 PPM Runoff - 800 ml at 6.24 PH at 2680 PPM - The runoff was particularly high in PPM. Not quite sure what’s going on there. Saturday - Day 35 13 July - Did a little defoliation. - She’s getting out of control her top leaves get huge and block the rest of the plant. - Hasn’t taken water in a long time. Pot still feels a bit heavy and she’s not dropping. - Maybe water tomorrow. This is the end of week five.

It’s the beginning of week seven. Sunday - Day 43 21 July 24 - She’s looking like she’s in pre flower. - No visible signs of sex yet though. - No visible calyxes or stigmas. - Growth has started to get staggered. - Also looking a bit sad as the last time she was watered the water may not have had enough time to bleed off the all the chlorine out. It is what it is. - This is also maybe the beginning of week one flower but will categorize this week as a vegetation week. Monday - Day 44 22 July 24 Watering day, 5 litres of dechlorinated tap water. - Base water - 59.8 PPM Final - 5 litres at 6.24 PH at 63.3 PPM Runoff - 2.2 litres at 6.68 PH at 415 PPM - Still looking kind of sad at the moment, not exactly sure what her malfunction is. Tuesday - Day 45 23 July 24 - She’s definitely not looking good today, showing a bit of calcium deficiency. Feeding day to fix her malfunction. 4 litres of dechlorinated tap water following flower week 1 lotus chart at 2/3 strength. - Base water 4 litres - 60 PPM - Add 1.2 grams calmag - 212 PPM - Add 2.3 grams grow - 495 PPM - Add 3.0 grams bloom - 813 PPM Final - 4 litres at 6.26 PH at 817 PPM Runoff - 3.2 litres at 6.79 PH at 350 PPM - Now we’ll just giver her time and see how she responds. - Did a huge defoliation to prep for lollipoping. Wednesday - Day 46 24 July 24 - She’s responding well to yesterday’s feed. - looks much better and perked back up. Friday - Day 48 26 July 24 - She’s back in action looking happy. - Completely perked back up. - Growth is staggering now. - Still no sign of her gender yet. - I don’t understand why this auto flower is taking so long to show. - This has been a weird plant the whole way though so far. Saturday - Day 49 27 July 24 Watering day, 5 litres of dechlorinated tap water. - Base water 5 litres - 60.4 PPM Final - 5 litres at 6.17 PH at 63.6 PPM Runoff- 1.9 litres at 6.55 PH at 667 PPM. So this is the end of week 7. Hopefully in week eight she can show her gender.

The beginning of week eight. Let’s see what’s in store for this plant this week. Sunday - Day 50 28 July 24 - just a regular grow day. - still no gender reveal. - maybe identifies as a non binary plant. - it’s 2024 plant lives matter!! Tuesday - Day 52 30 July 24 Feeding day, 5 litres of dechlorinated tap water at 2/3 strength lotus feed chart week 4 veg. - Base water 5 litres - 61.6 PPM - Add 1.2 grams calmag - 185 PPM - Add 6.3 grams grow - 793 PPM Final - 5 litres at 6.19 PH at 803 PPM Runoff - 2.5 litres at 6.57 PH at 529 PPM - This plant is growing uncontrollably. - Growth crashing into itself. - So I did an other major defoliation. - Topped her because the middle was getting overcrowded. - Further added some LST staple to manipulate branches. - With the way it grows I’m sure that canopy will be full again in a few days. - Still no sign of gender. - Questioning if this plant is in fact an auto flower. - I may think about flipping to 12/12 to see what it does. Wednesday - Day 53 31 July 24 - She’s perked right back up and bouncing back from a major defoliation and topping yesterday. - Still no gender reveal. Thursday - Day 54 1 August 24 - Just a grow day. - Looks like it’s starting to develop little balls where the calyx should be, not big enough yet to tell if it’s nanners or a female calyx yet. - Hopefully have a gender reveal soon. - Jackie may well want to be Jack. This is the end of week eight.

Beginning of week nine. After a bit of research it seems this strain is a long vegger and takes about 9-10 weeks to show gender so we’ll carry on. Sunday - Day 57 4 August 24 Watering day with 5 litres of dechlorinated tap water. - Base water 5 litres - 62 PPM Final - 5 Litres at 6.13 PH at 68 PPM Runoff - 1.5 litres at 6.55 PH at 696 PPM I should have administered this watering yesterday, she was a bit droopy this morning. It’s fine it’ll bounce back. Monday - Day 58 5 August 24 - She’s drooping again. - Always seems to do this after a watering of straight water. - May have to give her an other feed to get her perked back up. Tuesday - Day 59 6 August 24 - Looking pretty sad at the moment. Feeding day to fix the droop. 5 litres of dechlorinated tap water, 2/3 strength mix of Lotus week 4 veg. - Base water 5 litres - 62.2 PPM - Add 1.2 grams calmag - 190 PPM - Add 6.3 grams grow - 785 PPM Final - 5 litres at 6.25 PH at 793 PPM Runoff - 2.9 litres at 6.72 PH at 489 PPM - Hopefully she’ll bounce back and perk up again. She always seems to per back up after a feeding. Friday - Day 62 9 August 24 Watering day, 5 litres of dechlorinated tap water. - Base water 5 litres - 61.8 PPM - Final - 5 litres at 6.22 PH at 64.8 PPM - Runoff - 1.9 litres at 6.63 PH at 604 PPM Still no sign of gender. She goes through phases of happiness and droopiness. End of week nine. Holay this is one long vegging autoflower.

Here we are beginning week ten. Sunday - Day 64 11 August 24 - Starting the week off with some drooping. - Still waiting on a gender reveal. - Few leaves showing some rust spots. - It is what it is. Monday - Day 65 12 August 24 Really not looking happy at the moment. Going to do a 5 litre flush and then a feed. Flush - 5 litres at 6.22 PH at 64.9 PPM Runoff - 1.9 litres at 6.72 PH at 318 PPM 5 litre feed following week 4 Lotus veg chart at 2/3 strength. - Base water 5 litres - 61.8 PPM - Add 1.2 grams calmag - 178 PPM - Add 6.3 grams of grow- 775 PPM Final - 5 litres at 6.35 PH at 787 PPM Runoff - 4.5 litres at 6.76 PH at 298 PPM We’ll see how she responds in the next few days. FML these Lotus nutrients suck ass. I’m over trying to make this work. Next run is gonna be an organic soil and gaia green nutrients. Gotta change things up. Wednesday - Day 67 14 August 24 Kind of bounced back a bit today. Some leaves have shown some rust spots. Not a whole lot can be done to fix those at this point. Thursday - Day 68 15 August 24 Going to switch gears here and ditch the Lotus nutrients from here on out. Took some worm castings to make a top dressing. - Added 2 tsp of Gaia Green All Purpose - Added 2 tsp of Gaia Green Power Bloom - Added 2 tsp of Gaia Diatomaceous Earth - Added 1 tsp of Dynomyco - Added a bit of perlite. Mixed it all up and top dressed the pot. Watering with 5 litres of dechlorinated tap water. - Base water 5 litres - 61.7 PPM - Added 4 ml of grotek Cal-max - 211 PPM - Added 4 ml of Supermax - 245 PPM - Added 15 ml of Microbial Mass - 332 PPM Final - 5 litres at 6.32 PH at 332 PPM Runoff - 1.4 litres at 6.62 PH at 1,100 PPM Pretty high runoff, probably all the castings and amendments. So I’m not going to worry about that for now. Sink or swim. We’ll see how it does once those nutrients become available to the plant. Saturday - Day 70 17 August 24 - Did a major defoliation and lollipopping. - The plant was just way too bushy and growth was crashing into itself. - Going to give her a few days to rest and recover. - Planning to flip the light schedule to 12/12 because this auto just won’t flower or show gender. - She needs to start doing something or she’ll wind up in the trash pretty darn fast. - Seriously losing patience with this plant. Well here we are at the end of week ten. We’ll see what next week has in store.

Beginning week eleven. Sunday - Day 71 18 Aug 24 - Not looking too bad today after her major defoliation yesterday. - Going to need a few more days to recover. - Also needs some more time for those Gaia Green amendments to become available. Watering day, 5 litres of dechlorinated tap water. - Base water 5 litres - 61.9 PPM Final - 5 litres at 6.30 PH at 64.6 PPM Runoff - 1.6 litres at 6.53 PH at 757 PPM Monday - Day 72 19 August 24 Doing a foliar spray for ten minutes before lights out. - Base water 500 ml - 61.9 PPM - Added a little epsom salt - 130 PPM - Added seaweed extract - 180 PPM Final - 500 ml at 6.14 PH at 189 PPM Didn’t use the whole mix just enough for the plant to be wet. She’s got the night droop going on. Should be perked up by the morning. Wednesday - Day 74 21 August 24 Feliz cumpléaños bendejo para mi! Watering day, 5 litres of dechlorinated tap water. - Base water 5 litres - 61.3 PPM - Add 3.75 ml of cal-max - 202 PPM - Add 2.5 ml of supermax - 223 PPM - Add 7.5 ml chitosal - 253 PPM Final - 5 litres at 6.35 PH at 255 PPM Runoff - 1.8 litres at 6.48 PH at 458 PPM The Gaia Green should start becoming more available soon. Let’s see what she does the next few days. Saturday - Day 77 24 August 24 Few more leaves are showing deficiencies. Still waiting for the Gaia Green to become more available. Watering day, 5 litres of dechlorinated tap water. - Base water 5 litres - 61.2 PPM - Add 3.75 ml of cal-max - 172 PPM Final - 5 litres at 6.32 PH at 174 PPM Runoff - 1.9 litres at 6.57 PH at 382 PPM Took away the most affected leaves. They were blocking new growth anyway. I’m not sure if switching to Gaia Green mid grow was the best choice, however what’s done is done and we push on and deal with it. Still no calyxes or stigmas to be seen. So this marks the end of week eleven.

Well here we are beginning week twelve. Sunday - Day 78 25 August 24 First day under a 12/12 light schedule to hopefully induce this autoflower to do something. So I’m going to consider this the first week of flowering. Still not one calyx or stigma to be seen. This is the longest autoflower in history. She has two weeks to do something or else she’ll wind up in the trash. Sink or swim, my patience is being tested with this one. Honestly won’t be sad if this one doesn’t work out because I’m looking forward to starting a fresh run in organic soil and properly using Gaia Green. Wednesday - Day 81 28 August 24 Watering day, 5 litres of dechlorinated tap water. - Base water 5 litres - 59.8 PPM - Add 15 ml Microbial Mass - 170 PPM - Add 3.75 ml Supermax - 203 PPM Final - 5 litres at 6.31 PH at 204 PPM Runoff - 1.6 litres at 6.10 PH at 1,560 PPM *Before watering top dress* - Add 3 Tbsp Gaia Green All Purpose - Add 3 Tbsp Gaia Green Power Bloom Mixed it up a bit and then watered. - Made a few LST staple adjustments to open canopy up a bit - Some leaves don’t look too great. - Some leaves do look great. - Probably still adjusting to the new method of nutrients. - Looks like she’s in her stretch phase. Saturday - Day 84 31 August 24 Going to cut back the amount of runoff now that there’s organic inputs in the media. May not be the most ideal with the original peat moss/coco/perlite. Watering day, 4 litres of dechlorinated tap water. - Base water 4 litres - 62.3 PPM - Add 5 ml of Cal-Max - 280 PPM Final - 4 litres at 6.32 PH at 283 PPM Runoff - 1.3 litres at 6.55 PH at 1,650 PPM I gave a full dose of the recommended Cal mag because I’ve always went light with the cal mag and she seems really hungry for it. So we’ll see how she responds in the next few days to the full dose. She looks like she’s wanting to get into flower. We’ll see if flowering progresses more next week. Here we are end of week twelve.

Beginning of week thirteen. Sunday - Day 85 1 September 24 She’s looking happy today. Older affected leaves don’t seem to be getting any worse. Throwing out some calyxes but no stigmas yet. If this week progresses well, we’ll see about keeping her going longer. Monday - Day 86 2 September 24 FINALLY!!!!! - She’s finally popped out a set of stigmas from the calyx. I’ve been waiting for ages for this to happen. Ella disame “aye papi quisiera hacer flores”. - This means she gets to stay. - Supposed to be an autoflower but I’m not going to try to go back to 18/6 light schedule. Gonna keep it at 12/12 until she’s done. Tuesday - Day 87 3 September 24 Watering day, 4 litres of dechlorinated tap water. - Base water 4 litres - 62.3 PPM - Add 7.5 ml of Chitosal - 104 PPM Final - 4 litres at 6.28 PH at 107 PPM Runoff- .4 litres at 6.70 PH at 1,130 PPM Thursday - Day 89 5 September 24 - Still the affected leaves haven’t gotten any worse. They will make for goof future defoliation candidates. - The rest pf the plant is looking really happy. - Looks like the Gaia Green is starting to take effect. - The stretch is definitely taking off and she’s starting to make flower. - Raised the light up to 26” above the canopy. - Top of canopy getting a range of 430-470 PAR/PPFD. - She’s becoming a beast. Friday - Day 90 6 September 24 Watering day, 4.5 litres of dechlorinated tap water. - Base water 4.5 litres - 63.2 PPM - Add 5 ml Cal-Max - 225 PPM - Add 1/2 tsp seaweed extract - 308 PPM Final - 4.5 litres at 6.34 PH at 318 PPM Runoff - 0.7 litres at 6.69 PH at 1,060 PPM Slowly but surely we’re pushing forwards, we’ll see the next few days how she responds to the Gaia Green seaweed extract. Here we are at the beginning of week fourteen. Sunday - Day 92 8 September 24 Not a whole lot to say for today. Just a day under lights. I want to defoliate those affected leaves but I’m going to leave it until she’s done her stretch phase before I do an other defoliation. Monday - Day 93 9 September 24 Watering day, 4.5 litres of dechlorinated tap water. - Base water 4.5 litres at 59.8 PPM Final - 4.5 litres at 6.32 PH at 62.3 PPM Runoff - 0.6 litres at 6.70 PH at 848 PPM Nothing more to really say for today. Thursday - Day 96 12 September 24 Watering day, 4.5 litres of dechlorinated tap water. - Base water 4.5 litres - 60 PPM - Add 5 ml of Cal-Max - 204 PPM - Add 15 ml Microbial Mass - 348 PPM Final - 4.5 litres at 6.37 PH at 350 PPM Runoff - 0.5 litres at 6.84 PH at 888 PPM Saturday - Day 98 14 September 24 - Finished cleaning out the flower tent from Violeta’s run. - She’s finally making the move to under the Scorpion Diablo. - Light is at 26” away at 610 PAR/PPFD at the top of the canopy. This marks the end of week fourteen and week three of flower.

We’re at the beginning of week fifteen. Sunday - Day 99 15 September 24 Watering day, 5 litres of dechlorinated tap water. - Base water 5 litres - 59.7 PPM - Add 5 ml of Supermax - 104 PPM Final - 5 litres at 6.34 PH at 105 PPM Runoff - 1.2 litres at 6.65 PH at 856 PPM - I’m having some issues with my portable AC unit in my lung room. - Came in this morning after yesterday’s tent reset to make sure everything was working properly and timers working as expected and found that my RH was up to 74%. I’m not sure why my AC unit is making the RH spike like this during the lights off period. - Temporarily turned off my AC unit in the lung room until I find a solution. - Temps in the tent with lights on, now sitting at 26.5 degrees C and 45% RH. Wednesday - Day 102 18 September 24 Going to make a too dressing before watering. - 4 Tbsp of Gaia Green soil - 2 Tbsp of worm castings - 2 Tbsp of Gaia Green All Purpose - 4 Tbsp of Gaia Green Power Bloom - Added some perlite Watering day, 5 litres of dechlorinated tap water. - Base water 5 litres - 60.2 PPM - Add 5 ml of Cal-Max - 284 PPM - Add 10 ml of Chitosal - 325 PPM Final - 5 litres at 6.43 PH at 326 PPM Runoff - 1.1 litres at 6.21 PH at 2,350 PPM - Did a defoliation and removed some of the larfy appendages that won’t do much. - Runoff was very high but we’ll go with it because of the too dressing. - We’ll see how she responds in the next few days. Thursday - Day 103 19 September 24 - She’s not looking overly happy today. - Some more fan leaves are showing some issues. - I’m not exactly sure what the problem is. - Regardless we push on. Sarurday - Day 105 21 September 24 Watering day, 5 litres of dechlorinated tap water. - Base water 5 litres - 60.1 PPM Final - 5 litres at 6.33 PH at 63.1 PPM Runoff - 1.1 litres at 6.59 PH at 1,810 PPM A few leaves not looking so great but overall she’s still looking pretty good and buds are developing nicely. She also doesn’t have a very stinky smell at the moment. Hopefully these next few weeks the dankness will set in. Well here we are at the end of week fifteen. Let’s see what next week brings.

It’s the beginning of week sixteen. Sunday - Day 106 22 September 24 Some leaves still look poopy but overall she looks semi happy. Monday - Day 107 23 September 24 - Checked light distance and intensity. - Light distance at 26 inches. - Adjusted intensity to 660 PAR at the top of the canopy. - Some of the already affected leaves got worse. - Doesn’t look like new leaves are affected. - Maybe the pot is beginning to be too small for the length of time she’s been in this pot and maybe that’s why some leaves are dying off. - Still waiting for the last feeding to take effect. - Anyway there’s 4 weeks left so all I can do is stick to the plan and finish this off and whatever happens, happens. Tuesday - Day 108 24 September 24 Watering day, 5 litres of dechlorinated tap water. - Base water 5 litres - 60.1 PPM - Add 5 ml Cal-Max - 279 PPM - Add 5 ml Supermax - 313 PPM Final - 5 litres at 6.39 PH at 313 PPM Runoff - 0.9 litres at 6.50 PH at 1,160 PPM All in all she’s doing alright. She’s picking her leaves to cull off. If she continues to fade at this rate she should be good until the end. Wednesday - Day 109 25 September 24 - Just a day under the lights. - Buds are developing very nicely. - A few pistils started turning a bright orange, it’s going to look really nice. - Looks like the fade is on. - I’m not going to deviate much from my plan and just going to ride this until the end. Friday - Day 111 27 September 24 Watering day, 5 litres of dechlorinated tap water. - Base water 5 litres - 60.1 PPM - Add 5 ml Cal-Max - 230 PPM - Add 3/4 tsp seaweed extract - 331 PPM Final - 5 litres at 6.37 PH at 342 PPM Runoff - 0.7 litres at 6.48 PH at 910 PPM She’s doing alright. Saturday - Day 112 28 September 24 - Few more leaves showing some problems, but we push on. - All in all still looking great. Well here we are at the end of week sixteen. Vamos a ver la semana proxima!!

Welcome back to the final instalment in this diary. Tuesday - Day 143 29 October 24 - HARVEST DAY WOOT WOOT!!!! - Chopped and hung to dry at 19:00. - Drying conditions aren’t most ideal conditions but it is what it is and I just have to accept it. - Put 1 gram as wet weight because I don’t care for that useless number. - Dry weight is the only number that matters in this house. Monday 4 November 24 - Trimmed and jarred today. - Final weight - 106.2 grams. - Buds are very airy and not super dense. - Lots of small popcorn buds. - Very frosty and releases a lot of resin to the touch. Now time to cure for the next few weeks. Tuesday 3 December 24 So I did the smoke report and wrote a whole bunch of text and it seems like it didn’t save anywhere so I’ll re write it here. So it has a primarily earthy note when you smell from the jar. The cheese doesn’t really come out until you break up the buds and it’s not a very dominant odour. Also has a bit of a pungent odour. It still has some curing time to go but it’s a nice smell she gives off. The smoke is very enjoyable and it’s nice and smooth. The high is a bit of a creeper and I space out from time to time. All in all I’m very satisfied with this grow and the results. Not quite exactly as I’d hoped but I got some different cheese strains to try out so we’ll just have to try again. Jackie has been a true testament of a fugly seedling no matter how bad they initially look, that they can pull through and turn into something quite wonderful. So I want to thank everyone who has followed this grow, given me advice and written kind words on my posts. I truly appreciate you all.
