Day 9. Incredible growth in 4 days! the growth of the root is incredible, it reaches at least 25 cm. I change the water in the tank and raise the ppm to 210 and adjust the pH to 5.7 (In these four days it had gone up to 5.95). Raised the lamp more for more stretching :) Day 10. Adjust pH to 5.7 (it was rised to 6.2 i dont know why...) She looks healthy :D Day 14. The plant grows quite well and fast. But since day 12 a brown spot has appeared on one of the leaves of the first node, spreading little by little. Because of the symptoms, I think it's septoria, so I've sprayed neem oil to see how it works for her. Someone knows what can it be? I change the water in the tank and adjust the ppm to 150 and pH to 5.8

Why neem oil u have no bugs and those leaves are nothing your ph will always do this in the beginning untill your rootball getts bigger and takes up more oxygen the more air in your water the more your ph will be all over i would use a smaller stone for now you dont need a big one yet this will help your ph issue once your root ball starts the real growth up to a bigger stone make sure you have calmag its a plus CALMAG 👍👍👍✍️✍️✍️✍️

How do you know or choose the right Ec for each phase of the plant? or how much to raise it in each irrigation? My range is usually from 0.2 to 1.2 ... it depends on the strain. Do you think it is more important to know the strain than to follow a table of nutes? Thank you!

It is something you dial for your own system. More light power will result in plants that need more nutrients to power a more aggressive growth and so my schedule might not work for you. It requires a bit of experimentation on your part. It is more important to learn to read the plant. I try to keep the EC as low as I can and only up it when I spot some deficiency. As for how much to up it each step, usually I rise it no more than 20% at a time.

Hello everyone, some general questions...When you harvest, do you cut the whole plant? or depends on maturity, first cut one half and then the other? At the time of drying...what do you think is better: hanging the whole plant (having manicured before) or hanging the branches? ty

You can cut the whole plant or do partial harvests. The lower buds won't be as mature as the top ones so harvesting all at once can get you 2 slightly different highs based on whether you smoke the top or bottom buds. As far as how to dry it and whether to wet or dry trim depends on your environment. If where you dry is going to be really dry(25%-30% RH) then I would 100% do a dry trim that way it allows the plant to dry slower. If it is more humid (50%-55% RH) then I would do a dry trim. As far as how to hang it, that doesn't matter too much. I usually just separate all the branches and hang them at the top of my tent. The goal is to get a nice slow dry that takes 7-10 days for the buds to reach ~60% humidity.

hi @freedonia this is classic PH fluctuations, when the PH goes up and down this kind of damage will happen. To stablise the PH try adding more PH + and - so that the PH doesnt change that much ... hope this helps my friend ! 🚀

@HighTV, Well, there's no specific reason ... someone told me it's not to over-oxygenate the plant. Do you always have it on? Yes, I mix a lot every time I pour any nutrient, but I never get that fluctuation down to 6.3. Thank you!

Is there a reason the pump is 15 on 15 off? Try mixing your water ALOT before adding PHing the first time. This will allow the dissolved carbondioxide to breakdown and lower the PH resulting in a more stable reservoir. THEN you PH normal. (technically its carbonicacid releasing a photon, but that's just semantics)

@HighTV, I also dont understand how I have such low changes and these symptoms are so bad. 😳 When I change the tank water and adjust the pH to 5.7 a few hours later it is at least 6.3, I adjust again and the changes are minuscule until the 3rd day, and the air pump is 15 min on 15 min off. This strain may be quite sensitive to these changes, I dont think I should fertilize it more ...

Hi there ! I'm not a pro but it looks like your plant has had to much N at some point of your grow. Curled down dark leaves often are the symptoms of too much N. Good luck with it bro!
