Sunset Sherbet's Big spa treatment SUNSET SHERBET Sponsored by **Zamnesia ** 9/22-28 Pics 9/22, 26, 27 9/22 This week I’ve watered with ph 6.65 water only Sunset received 250-550ml water every 2-3 days. I’ve been monitoring for any stretch so I would have room to top my plants but as the pics show the nodes are less than ½ inch apart. I’ve been watching @XII_XII_MrGreen demonstrate the pinch, twist and leave a stub technique for topping. I’ve also been watching @yan402 topping by cutting the tops with scissors also leaving a stub. 9/26 Sunset’s big, big day. Sunset got the best spa day a girl could ask for. She got topped, defoliated of covered bud sites and LST pinned down. Due to the lack of space, and unsteady hands, I chose to top Sunset Sherbet using scissors. Thank you, Yan and Mr. Green for your thorough demonstrations of training techniques and tolerating my endless questions. Lots of pics today that show where I cut the top off right at the base but the stub below that is for short. I did not FIM her, yay. After the cut, I applied Manuka honey to the open wound and pinned her short little stems down using copper pins. Poured 1ltr water around edge of pot to start the increase of watering cycle. 9/27 a few pics after topping. Sunset is happy with her new look and with the extra water given gave her a push of growth overnight (seen in the topped crown).
