The seeds were soaked for 18 hours in tap water. Both seeds' tap roots are exposed. They were then placed into a starter "soil" humidity dome (06.ix.24).
16.ix.24- Hardening off complete. The humidity dome has been removed.
Letting plants dry completely before watering.
Alternating watering with mild fertilizer solution and Phed water.
Daytime temps are a little high. Leaving the door to the tent ajar during the day. Should improve in the autumn.
19.ix.24 Leaf "claw" on one plant. I think it's too early to be a nutrient thing. Wind burn?- Turned internal fan down and moved to other side of the tent.
21.ix.24 Waiting until numerous roots are visible on the bottom of the pot for transplanting and will likely sometime next week.
24.ix.24-Transplanted to new pots with a rough volume of 2gal. Roots balls were dusted with Dynomoyco. Used the same potting soil as in week one and followed the all-purpose directions. Added 20g of Soil Activator per 2 gallon container. Watered in with dilute mixture of MediOne and Thrive Alive to provide immediate gentle feed and Bvit for stress.
30.ix.24- Topped
30.ix.24- Wattered with Thrive Alive to reduce stress from topping.
02.x.24-Cleaned up the undercarriage (lollipopping?). -Only the two apical branches are growing and getting set for mainlineing.
Plants look good and are responding as they should. One plant has minor taco-ing of the water leaves. Fan might be hitting that plant to hard so the plants have played musical chairs in the tent. I am not to concerned as it is the better looking of the two.
5.x.24- Installed mainlining hardware. No broken stems!
A major branch broke off of one plant. Decided to swing the other tops towards the middle of the plant and LST and topped to bush it out as much as possible. Attempting to clone the branch.
