Day 8
PH 6.0 Water, 160ppm, growing well, PlantIT Aeros DWC is working nicely, the airstone and pump included are great.
topwatering rocks, 40ml 3x a day
Day 9
Growing well. 2x growth, topwatering rocks, 40ml 3x a day
Day 10
Roots are in the pool, about 4 of them. This setup takes 2-3 more days for the roots to hit the pool than my old bucket. The net pot is larger, about 2.5 times, and the rocks I am using are smaller as well. Ive had it take 15 days before, patience is the best thing in this stage.
6.0 PH water, 160ppm, no nutrients yet, topwatering rocks, 40ml 3x a day
Day 11
About 10 roots out of the netpot into the pool of 6.0 water
Still topwatering rocks to encourage more root growth outward
The humidity dome is still in place, humidity in the tent is only 40%, but under the dome its 100%.
Tomorrow she will get the first taste of nutrients. This grow I will be using half strength nutrients, as this plant is very sensitive to toxicity. Probably will start with 350ppm easy, but comprehensive, rooting blend. Im using T.A. organic and traditional nutrients in a blend I created several years ago.
Day 12
First day on nutrients, about 380ppm in the bucket.
Growth is very nice, posted a photo of the roots also
Day 13
This plant loves the light nutrient rooting blend
the humidity dome is off, the humidity in the box is 42% should be good for a desert like climate for a good sativa to grow
The silicate in the bucket has had time to settle in, ppm is 450 now that the silicate and other nutrients have blended properly, the silicate is powder so I make sure to dissolve what can be dissolved by stirring the pot vigorously for about 3 minutes. In later phases of the growth I will use a bottle to shake it in larger quantities. But for now, there is so little in there, best to just stir it in.
Day 14
All is well, the plant is exploding in growth the next 2 weeks will be exciting as she grows
@DeepWaterGrower, Yes! This one is growing very well. Last DWC change my water (alpine region) was 14 degrees and it shocked 4 of the fan leaves a little bit being too cold. It made a few of the leafs develop some spots, but they are still so healthy. When I was changing the bucket, I knew it was too cold, but wanted to see what would happen due to testing a theory I learned about while I was in Spain. I proved it true, always keep DWC water above 17 degrees when in young veg.
~10 more days and I will bend the stem. It will likely be going back and to the left this time. The way the seedling grew out of the root riot it is favoring that direction. We will see what the plant tells me. She is growing very fast. I am just leaf tucking and defoliating right now!
@Fast_Buds, Ive got a good amount of seeds to grow through, and chose this one first! Thanks to your vendor @MrHanfTopia for the quality Fast Buds seeds!
@Still_Smoq, thanks! its really though the genetics that are showing. Im not doing anything special here, just letting her grow. Fastbuds always gives great advice on their websites about each strain. When reading about this strain, there are several very critical instructions to follow in order for it not to get nute burned or overgrown.
