Day 22 - new week
Leaf Tucking has begun, branches are forming, female sex organs are here
Using 1/2 grow strength blend, 650ppm for full grow cycle
Fastbuds says this one is sensitive to too much nutrients
Day 23
Excellent Growth, leaf tucking every morning to bring the branches out.
PH stable at 6.0, colour yellow, she eats, her ppms are going down in the pool, tomorrow DWC change for same nutrients
Day 24
Growing very well, removed the first 4 leafs from the bottom, they are blocked, and no one wants any moisture buildup
Day 25 - DWC CHANGE
New DWC Pool, same nutrients installed. I made a mistake and filled with water that was too cold, a few leaves took some shock, but nothing bad. I removed them, and it opened up the bottom nicely and made room for my port to be accessible.
All is growing well, noticeable growth all over the plant
Day 26
Noticeable growth all over
The places where the cold water got to the leafs have turned yellow, but all new growth is fine. My water temps when it was too cold in DWC was 15 degrees. Once the water was up to 19 degrees everything was fine
PH locked solid at 6.0, yellow, new pools nutrients are going down. Will start recording the daily consumption next week.
Day 27
Extreme growth is occurring
Leaf tucking all of the large main stem fan leaves so the branches tops can see the light better
Day 28
More Extreme growth, the plant is becoming a nice bush. I am constantly Leaf Tucking for branch growth, and I have removed about 6 fan leafs total, all very large leafs that were covered by branches totally.
PH holds steady 6.0, yellow, PPMS are going down, 650 - 500, the blend is working well. The plant is drinking a nice amount, it looks like about 2 litres a day right now. I will track it closer next week.
The DWC will likely get changed a day or two sooner than last interval due to the rise in consumption.
@DeepWaterGrower, Yes! This one is growing very well. Last DWC change my water (alpine region) was 14 degrees and it shocked 4 of the fan leaves a little bit being too cold. It made a few of the leafs develop some spots, but they are still so healthy. When I was changing the bucket, I knew it was too cold, but wanted to see what would happen due to testing a theory I learned about while I was in Spain. I proved it true, always keep DWC water above 17 degrees when in young veg.
~10 more days and I will bend the stem. It will likely be going back and to the left this time. The way the seedling grew out of the root riot it is favoring that direction. We will see what the plant tells me. She is growing very fast. I am just leaf tucking and defoliating right now!
@Still_Smoq, this one is telling me to just leave her as the sugars are already developing, and the smell is quite intense for only ~50 days from seed. This is certainly going to be a strong strain, probably done around week 12.
@Still_Smoq, thanks! its really though the genetics that are showing. Im not doing anything special here, just letting her grow. Fastbuds always gives great advice on their websites about each strain. When reading about this strain, there are several very critical instructions to follow in order for it not to get nute burned or overgrown.
@michigrower, for sure, these are unreal buds, next level genetics from 2 years ago autos, combined with Professor Bruce Bugbee's advice, and this stands to be the best auto ive ever grown in DWC.
@NewOfficialDrillInvaders, Its a good one, very high in THC this one, I would grow photos, but these autos just get done so fast, and the quality is on point with @fast_buds
@Fast_Buds, Ive got a good amount of seeds to grow through, and chose this one first! Thanks to your vendor @MrHanfTopia for the quality Fast Buds seeds!
@GnomesAndStones, Thank you!! Yes, she is looking to be my best quality plant yet. I think this is due to the new Fastbuds genetics honestly. Ive not changed any technique, except I didnt bend the main stem down on this one (it grew too hard too fast), and im running 1/2 strength nutrients due to Fastbuds advice. The smell and resin stickyness is the most ive seen in an autoflower at 55 days.
