Week 5 starting. Plants had a little too much food in week 4, but nothing too extreme. Today its time to change the water from hydro and start adding some bloombastic nutrient.
Adding about 2 liters of water to plants every day, and adding new nutes at start of every week (or earlier if the ec falls down too much.
Did some defoliation aswell, only couple of leaves off so the light can shine once again to the lower buds. Sour Diesel developing very nice looking main cola.
Morning Glory is doing pretty good. Not as big buds as Sour has, But the quantity of the budsites, and the size of the Morning Glory plant beats Sour Diesel.
It looks very good, so it must be working. Will you defoliate for more penetration of light in these next couple weeks into flowering? Just curious because your canopy is looking seriously full and nice in that 2nd photo.
@Experimentgreen
Yes i have done it earlier in flowering. When i look at the plant from top of the canopy, the light seems to penetrate pretty well for the lower flowers aswell. If i see a leaf blocking the light, ill pop it right off.
@Experimentgreen,
Yeah, you really encounter different kind of problems with plants depenting on where you live. For example, living in north makes me grow indoor most of the year, which allows me to keep temperatures and humidity on point most of the grow. However, its still nothing compared to OG sunlight.
@NorthernGrows, seriously so true! The internet is both the cannabis cultivators most amazing resource and downfall probably. Too many options, every one has their thing to do and it may only work for just them. Like I live in the desert so i face a lot of challenges no one else does...but also have benefits like probably not getting powdery mildew or stuff like that. Lol win some and lose some.😊
@Experimentgreen, Only leaving budsites and sugarleaves sound like straight up murder lol. One grower says this and other says that. I guess it's one of those topics that are widely debated amongst growers.
@MyCloset, I agree with you with the amount of the nutes. The leaftips already show sings of nutrient burns. I'm not alone growing this, and i kind of promised to the other gardener that he can give the nutes however he wants in this grow. Next diary will be done with far less nutes.
