So week number 6 has started, let's see how she will grow. I had to remove some inner leafs and branches, because she was a little bit to dense and I don't want her to waste to much energy an small branches which aren't getting any light. Changed my complete Setup on Day 39. She's now in a mars hydro 80x80 cm tent with the fc1500 evo lamp.

Hi fellow growers, my Choco plant develops some eagle claws and yellow spots. She was already slower in growth compared to the other strains and now she seems to be seriously stressed. my guess would be a nutrition overload because of the all mix soil. Any other tips to help her?

Your instincts serve you well, the soil was too hot for early growth. I dunno if I'd take drastic steps to try to fix it at this point unless it gets worse. They're getting old enough to handle it soon enough. The optimal pH in soil is 6-7, so while it's on the high side it's perfectly OK. Really soil is pretty forgiving to pH imbalances as long as you're not waaaaay out of range. Many soil growers don't even measure pH, lol. While VPD is a great tool for optimizing growth, really all low humidity means is it's gonna drink more unless you lower temps to compensate-it's not causing this. Speaking of drinking more, once you're beyond the seedling stage, don't "just water the outside" lol. Water fully and wait until your pots are light until watering again. I swear I think people would be better off just asking AI than some of the answers that get thrown around on here...

So my Choco is getting yellow spots on the leaves again. This time it's looking different and I don't know what could be the problem. Any suggestions?

Magnesium deficiency. Also slight nitrogen toxicity. No need to flush, just reduce your "grow" fertilizers and increase your cal/mag supplement.

Hello mate, looking your diary, you had a big problem with pH but more than other with salts (Ca/Mg). When you use organic nutrients you must know the rate of Ca/Mg in your water, you have a crunchy leaves i think so the problem is linked to the salts for sure. Do a big flush to clean your soil from the locked out nutrients, then restart your feeding program but correcting the salts rate. I put again my answer that i gave you in your last question because i'm enough sure about.
