I don't know exactly what the origins are, so here's a new Zamnesia season.
We are in the middle of winter and despite growing in an area that isn't the warmest in Europe, it's really cold now. It's 16-18 degrees Celsius in the house and we need to bring the temperature of the propagator growbox between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius.
So we first placed a layer of those 1 cm thick "rubberized" floors that are used for gyms, they are easily found on Amazon and are very useful for insulation.
Then a heated resistance mat and then the closed propagator on top. Inside with our seedlings and the light on at minimum 20% we reached 24 degrees, not bad in fact the germination is proceeding very well.
100% opening of the seeds in water and almost all of them are opening in our biodegradable peat pots.
----- Our Green Crack F1 Hybrid Auto were born really quickly. About 24 hours in water and the two seeds had hatched, another 24 hours in soil, and off they were born on 01/12/2024 on the identity card we have this date. Special features very pretty, born regularly without any problems, if you have placenta problems or seeds that remain attached. read below.

WARNING: Placenta Problems ---- ALWAYS look very carefully at the seedlings, if the seed or placenta prevents the cotyledon leaves from opening the plant dies after a while. Remove it delicately as if it were a condom or almost. I apologize for the example but it gives the idea to remove slowly delicately please.
WARNING: If you choose biodegradable pots choose the largest possible and not paper/cardboard ones, there is peat which is the main component of most of the soil we use.
If you want to avoid transmitting vibrations to your neighbors I recommend you install one of these gym floors under your growboxes, I did it and I also feel safer not to disturb. They are easily found on Amazon in different thicknesses, I took a gym model that is assembled like a puzzle, they are also found in children's shops, they are those floors that are assembled to make children play safely, or to train and to avoid vibrations from equipment or of any kind.

This strain has a name that really intrigues us, a fame that goes beyond the oceans and is produced by Zamnesia top ingredients for success. One of the two Green Crack F1 Hybrids was replanted because I noticed too late some placenta problems and it was damaged but only because of me it was immediately replaced and we are ready to give our best.
Growing projects for autoflowering plants ----- As for autoflowering plants I really love preserving the Main Cola. So I will try to make or grow the plants well or badly without damaging the main cola. Nowadays topping autoflowering plants is very accepted but it is not my favorite thing to transform a baby born to finish in 10 weeks into a baby that finishes in 14, I say at this point I do photoperiodic. But in times of people who only grow autoflowering everything is permitted for goodness sake if you want to do it, do it I will not be the one to stop you. Also because the results are excellent nothing to really discuss about anything except time.
All this to tell us that I recommend for example fimming on plants that tend to grow tall to give power to the lateral branches, LST as much as you want, I don't like too much spread out I need space. HST and splitting are with experience. These are my tips not the absolute truth please do not mistake me for a great wise holder of the truth I speak as I see it.
The first week went only with Power Roots 1 Ml/l and Pure Zym 1 ml/l from now on we will start with ALga Grow. The plants were transplanted shortly after germination because the biodegradable pots were very small. The soil is Plagron Pro Mix 100% organic renewed with 30% new soil and 20% Perlite added. (Pro mix has no perlite but it is airy, we added it anyway)

Our Green Crack F1 Hybrid Autoflowering from Zamnesia are really in great shape, better yet there is a small one born recently and one that has arrived so well to grow that I have already done topping
to go and make two plants this time: one worked with the techniques and one left to go also to compare the difference in yield and advise you well based on the strain. If it is very true that the technique always gives a good result, the response times can be greatly extended or if the plant remains too dwarf I prefer to grow the autoflowering straight.
Applied Techniques - Given the numerous requests from growers, we decided to show you what happens by applying topping + Lst to autoflowering plants. It is very important to anticipate it as much as possible, autoflowering plants go into flowering at about the 5th intenodo, you must anticipate that moment to give the plant the chance to vegetate as much as possible. In general, when you see that there are two good side branches, you can do topping, they will go into veg as much as possible and you will have a split plant, I have seen very nice results, especially in warm periods when the plant tends to vegetate a lot, in winter we could have a bit of dwarfism but with a lot of resin for sure.
So I cleaned everything and cut at the top leaving only the main growth line, called Main Lining, the florets will be lowered during growth and the plant will eventually be like "split" in the main line with the various branches.
On photoperiodic plants, however, we will do topping repeatedly, which is not recommended with autoflowering plants so as not to lengthen the times of plants born to finish in 10 weeks.
The second week (including a few days of germination) we gave Power Roots 1 ml/l, Pure Zym 1 ml/l, Sugar Royal 1 ml/l, Alga Grow 3 ml/l -

Here we are at day 27, remember that we planted two plants per strain, we are between the third and fourth week for the larger plants (which will be worked with topping x2 and then Main Lining) and between the first and second week for the smaller ones that will grow free to show their magnificent main cola at the end.
I made this choice to give the friends of Zamnesia and the growers who use their fantastic seeds the opportunity to see the difference between a plant grown straight and one grown with the help of various techniques that will change from Autoflowering to Photoperiod.
We did a little damage on one of the Rainbow sherbets, doing Main lining a brunches broke so this week you see the smaller plant that has been worked again. The other large one is however repaired and there is another one just born that will go straight with main cola.
The thing is working halfway on this plant that seems to be low internodal distance and legnifies quickly, I can open it but not as well as those with long internodal distance. I can already conclude that for this type of work plants with wide internodal distance are more suitable. We invite breeders to consider recommending the right technique for the type of plant. This one would perhaps be better to let go, we will verify it with the second one that was born recently and will be compared.
As for fertilizers I kept them a little low for this reason, during the topping the plant slows down and by slowing down all that table nitrogen is not needed, but only while topping not before, in fact on some I have absolutely solvable deficiencies but you never stop learning as you can see.
In winter I would like to underline another thing, the plant drinks much more slowly and maybe sometimes dries in three days, by doing so we are giving less fertilizer and creating possible spaces for deficiencies.
It has shown some signs of deficiency but it is all recoverable.

We have passed the month and we are madly in love with all our autoflowering plants, we have two per strain, one worked with a mainlining adapted according to the characteristics of the plant and one that grows straight, we can't easily give up the main cola.
For now we will show you those worked with the techniques that are more interesting to see and later planted earlier to make them finish more or less together with those that will grow straight and fast.
Our Green Crack worked with the Main Lining like La Do si Dos is taking on a "bonsai" appearance that we don't mind at all. This is due to the fact that it is a plant with a low internodal distance, it tends to grow very quickly because this distance is short and therefore you have to be very delicate. We succeeded and the plant really looks good, it is small but in flower it will be really beautiful to see. It is a little wider than the DSD anyway and so I managed to bend the brunches a little better.
So topping at the third internode, main lining, no pruning until the third internode and topping them so we have multiplied the buds adequately.
The application of the techniques is a delicate moment also for fertilization. Topping slows down the growth of the plant a bit and does not make it require all that Grow fertilizer that is normally recommended. So you have to go really slow and understand when to reduce the nitrogen. Better to prepare the soil with fertilizers to mix with the soil probably. The problem is sweeping now that it is going into flowering, the plant has shown the first fluff, declared the sex, and the fertilizer will soon be needed indeed. You have to inflate.
In any case everything is under control and I will demonstrate it to you during the flowering phase. Wait for the Uncle BreadandBuds and see what he does.
Remember that cold temperatures make the girls absorb food much more slowly than in summer, so be careful to give the right amount and let the plant dry in maximum 2 days or you risk imbalances.

Here we are at the magic moment, the first hairs are coming out flowers from the internodes and here and there, our Green Crack F1 Automatic reveals the sex and of course like all Zamnesia plants I will be the father of two beautiful girls.
One is growing straight but I will show it to you later because it is a bit behind in the days planted after - In making this one that you see in the photo is a sort of bonsai worked with Topping at the beginning, then LST to create a main lining for three internodes, then anchoring topping and last on the lateral growing branches. Really pretty I can't wait to see it in flower
We won't see the super productive trees of the autumn harvest but I'm willing to bet that we will have lots of beauty and lots of resin.

Our Green Crack has started to flower, the main lining has given it a really nice look, it is beautiful to look at with a series of brunches and small buds that go up at a great pace. It hasn't remained very small as I thought, it is going up.
The plant is an exemplary one with a medium internodal distance, I managed to work it quite well.

Here we have a strain that has had great success in recent years and the Zamnesia one already has a great reputation among growers.
We also have Green Crack F1 Hybrid 2 plants but I'm showing you the other one in a separate diary now because it is even smaller than this one that is already in advanced flowering, there are many buds growing and we hope they swell well.
The structure created with mainfoldindg, mainlining, topping and lst vari is very pleasant, the plant is at medium internodal distance and flowers quickly so it is a plant on which I would feel like recommending these techniques that it is true that they can slow down the harvests but they give a satisfaction to the sight and an unparalleled fun in making them.

The situation is getting interesting, flowering is coming in the final part for our Green Crack F1 Hybrid Auto.
First of all, we have another plant that is growing straight, you can see it in the photos in the Zamnesia pot that is doing very very well. It is behind in flowering compared to this one because it was planted later but it drinks two liters a day, it has huge sunbathing leaves, and it is starting to flower.
The plant worked with the main lining shows a typical characteristic according to my experience of the F1 Hybrid: these plants have a very fast flowering so they start to mature a little earlier in the sense that they put out flowers the red pistils while the flower is still swelling, it happened to me with all of them, I think even with the RQS ones in the past. From the observation of all the F1s I can notice that you can see some red and the flowers do not seem very big but after a while they reach a nice size. This one is in the swelling phase and in these days it is starting to change color from the top. Very beautiful, I hope they swell the buds properly and it will be perfect.
The shape is very very beautiful as is the structure of this plant indeed.

I may have never grown Green Crack, of any kind, but the F1 Hybrid Automatic version from Zamnesia is really making me feel good.
Let's remind all our friends that we have two plants, one left to grow straight and one worked with the mainlining technique. This time the plant left to grow straight was planted much later but it has a frightening growth that will lead it to finish soon anyway.
The unworked plant is a little beast that is drinking three liters a day. That is, if I put two liters I find it very dry, three dry in a light pot. It's scary. You can also notice it in the huge sun leaves that I detached, really very imposing for how used. It promises very well, it will finish after its little sister with the techniques.
This plant has just entered the program of the second flowering phase, that is, you take the Green Sensation, the legendary Plagron Booster that goes from the fourth week of flowering or maximum from the third if the plant is like this one with fast flowering.
The second plant worked with the mainlining was planted and vegetated during the coldest period, it is not huge like the little sister that got hot days in vegetative stage...but there is always a but it is really very full of resin and the flower is of excellent quality in all aspects.
This plant has been in intensive flush for a week to harvest it as soon as possible.
