12/25/24 dropping into glass of water today super thankful for this opportunity 🙏 excited to see the whole community come together with this and to see what everyone comes up with. I also love that everyone has the same genetics and thats the competition. Good luck to everyone and thank you @zamnesia and @plagron 12/26/24 these seeds are exceptionally fresh or healthy because theres already taproots coming out of 4/5 seeds already after 24 hrs in a glass of water. put into paper towel with a 1%hydrogen peroxide solution 12/27/24 one day later and the same 4 out of 5 that cracked in the water soak are the same ones with decent taproots. planted in a jiffy seed starting mix in a plastic tray set up and placed into my humidity chamber with a new set of spider farmer supplemental lighting set. 12/29/24 R1 was the first through the soil and the quickest with germination R2 Shortly behind R1 in germination speed and rising above the soil R3 is above soil with her seed shell still on her head like a helmet. R4 nothing to show or speak of so far which is odd because she did have a taproot when planted but maybe she got planted slightly upside down R5 I can see just below the surface of the soil. She was the largest seed and the only one that didnt crack after 24 hrs of water soak and 24 hours in a 1%h2o2 solution between paper towels in a ziplock bag. So pleasantly surprised to see her have just about made it through the soil 12/30/24 All 5 have germinated and are above soil. 80°F 80%rh 12/31/24 81°F 80%rh last day of the year and last day of germination best of luck to everyone apart of EGC 2025

1/1/25 HAPPY NEW YEARS! Today is day 1 of veg. They "germinated" for a week and all 5 sprouted and all 5 seem to be doing fine. R1 R2 R3 and R5 are all similiar in size and vigor. 1/5/25 Veg day 5 R1 and R5 are similiar in thin leaves. R2 has slightly thicker leaves R3 has a long internode stretch between the cotyledone leaves and the first set of serrated leaves. R4 is the runt of the runtz and is struggling and lagging behind the rest. also all of these are very miniscule differences 1/2/25 they are all growing quite tall already. doubled in size give or take so far. they are praying and happy at 75% humidity and 80-82°F R5 has a thicker cotyledone than some of the others. R4 has smaller cotyledone and smaller "Runtzy" type structure. 1/6/25 day 6 and they all look like they all look like theyre about to take off and start growing quickly. will probably keep them in these smaller starter trays for another week, until day 14 and then transplant and feed lightly. If i was to cull any, i would probably get rid of R4 definitely and possibly R3/R5. but in the RUNTZ spirit, im going to keep them all. plus in my experience, the runt plants always seem to hold some surprise to share with the world.

1/22/25 Day 22 R1 and R2 are showing possible calcium deficiency for some reason early on. rust and brown necrotic spots in between the veins of the lower fan leaves. R3 has always been super yellow compared to the others. i think it may have something to do with her hanging on to her leaf shell above the soil and possibly missed out on the nutrients provided with the embryo of the seed shell. R4 has amazing plant structure. the nodes are tightly packed and well developed compared to the other plants. she was the original runt of this litter and i wouldve culled her first because she was deformed and super slow to start but now shes the most developed and with the most favorable structure for my personal choosing and has responded the best to the nutrients. R5 is doing well and seems 1/25/25 need to relocate to the tent now. theyve filled up this humidity chamber and need more space and a stronger 1/28/24 last day of week 4. i topped all of them around the 4th or 5th node the next 4 weeks will be training and then

1/30/25 these plants are all doing exceptional. R1-R2-R5 Are all very similiar in structure, node spacing and height. Fairly uniform. R3 Had a dwarf branch on the 2nd node. It was like Nemos fin from finding nemo. For whatever reason it was just underdeveloped. So i ended up just cutting it. Other than that, this plant is the only one that had the nodes stretch up to the mains after the topping. its a little more stretched out in between nodes and lankier. R4 is the Runt of the Runtz and probably wouldve been culled early on. But this plant has the most tightly compacted nodes, its almost hard to even see whats going on with her. I swear the runtz of the litter always show something special. we shall see, she shall live and prosper. Also side note: These plants already have a decent smell to them. Nothing special but they definitely smell like cannabis is growing. Dont normally notice a smell from plants especially from seed. 1/31/25 moved them into the veg tent. Theyre now under the mars hydro ts1000. my ratches are broken so i need to replace so that i can lower the light a bit. maybe itll be fine but its like 24 inches from the plants at the moment. 🤙💚Thank you to Zamnesia and Plagron for this opportunity. 💚🤙

2/12/25 i need to transplant and possibly up the nitrogen. some of the bigger plants are showing nitrogen deficiency on the lower leaves. i just picked up some more soil so i will be transplanting here soon and will be able to top dress and give more accurate nutrition and training 2/15/25 transplanted R2 into a 5 gallon fabric pot. i ran out of dechlorinated water before i could transplant the rest so i will do that later on. probably tomorrow. fox farms ocean forest with roots organics big worm worm castings. 5 tsp of terp tea grow 711. 2 tsp of microbe 212. 3 tsp of uprising foundation and added extreme mykos to the root zone 2/17/25 transplanted 2 more of the runtz. R1 and R5 are transplanted into their final pots of 5 gallons with fresh fox farms soil and mykos and a healthy dose of nutrients for them to explode with growth over the following weeks. my veg tent is going to be super packed and so is the flowering tent when the time comes for them to be transplanted. the ladies have been hungry for some nitrogen and probably other things. the lower leaves have been yellowing and dying off. their feed day was Friday and i wanted to wait to feed them until i could give them new homes with amendments added in. the first one that i transplanted is looking super happy and healthy as of today. which is a few days after the transplant. 1/18/25 Finished transplanting the last two runtz into their 5 gallon pots. i have six pots in a 2×3 right now and they fit wall to wall so hopefully everything works out well this way

2/19/25 after transplant the plants seem happy. Specifically R1 has exploded upwards with growth and is double in size compared to her sisters. i will need to get some lst clips on her just like i did with R5 Everything seems happy and healthy with room for explosive growth over this week. good start to the start of week 8 veg so far 2/21/25 im out of lst clips at the moment so i i tried some light hst or supercropping to bend over some of the taller plants. i hate the way the bruising looks so i kind of regret doing that but its served its purpose. im trying to keep them all similiar height but also trying to keep them all under the same amounts of topping and training. you all are on this journey with me and we shall see how it all unfolds. the way the tent looks right now, i feel like i should put them into flower now. ill get them out of the tent and look at them all individually soon to evaluate their health and status.
