Day 29 Starting the week off strong. Dry day today for these ladies. Reset the LST. All new ties in an attempt to get light to previously sunlight areas. Day 30 Both looking very good after reset LST. Day 31 Looking good today. Day 32 Another good day. made some final cuts and removed a few plants to open up the room Day 33 More heavy LST last night and ladies looking good this morning. Day 34 Removed all LST for a little while and defoliate botton to open up air flow to under canopy. Day 35 Closing out the week nicely. Still cant eliminate whatever pest (or pests) are here. Successfully managing population though u believe

Zombie 6 as shown above in day 20 has a weird light green color forming out the middle. Is this an issue or simply the genetics (Mixed bag so unidentified auto)?

Hey there, so overall the plant doesn't look bad... if you've got it in decent soil is unlikely to be nutrient related. They are doing a very slight droop...so if anything, id think about the watering, either overwatering or just coping with being small in a large container. They use up the oxygen in the watered soil much faster than it dries until roots are well developed. The only other thing I can think of would be lights: distance/intensity/heat. But i believe it'll grow out of this here very soon...try not to worry and do the impossible (patience). ✌️

Gave them another water with ph balanced water. No growth yet so still no pictures, will update with some when we have some visible action.

"keeping the ladies moist" is not such a fantastic idea, a strict wet dry cycle is much better !
CRiSPrGrow
CRiSPrGrowcommented6 years ago
@Denzul, well, just something i noticed that seedlings dont like the constant moisture, but they hate going dry even more. what i can say is you're probably safer doing what you're doing , but it's probably holding the seedlings back that tiny bit... overall, no impact probably lol

Denzulcommented6 years ago
@CRiSPrGrow,I only do it for the first week or two from seedlings. I heard they like a moist environment. Should i not be doing this even early on?

Is there truly no idea to the mystery mix? It's a shame if it is, but at least you know they're good genetics πŸ‘
Denzul
Denzulcommentedweek 26 years ago
Thanks. Yeah I know it's not the best but as someone who's busy during the week I'd rather then be over moistened then dry cause like you said I've heard dry is much worse than over saturated for babies. Also now that everyone is in 1 gal-5gal pots and no more solo cups it's much easier to not dry them out so I am returning to a normal 48 hour water cycle.

@Denzul, When seedlings are always in wet soil the roots turn "lazy". Since there is water in the top part of your pot, there is no need for the roots to seek moist soil down below. witch is important for a big root mass. just my 2cents. :) they look very healthy, leaves are praising the lights. Keep it up! :)

Thanks for the input! I've switched to a traditional watering cycle now that their a few weeks old and they seem the be loving it.

nice grow, damn everywhere I go it seems these mephisto seeds out of stock , wish I could find a place has some in stock to try out lol....I wanted the mystery mix when it was in stock but hesitated because I didn't know what strains was in it, but yours turned out beautiful!πŸ˜€

Denzulcommented5 years ago
@@mrmateo, when it comes back in stock it's well worth it (unless you knowingly want a indica or a sativa). Was the cheapest pack and Mephisto has no bad strains from everything I've tried before. Not sure which sites your checking but their direct US store has about 6 or 7 different strains in stock. No mystery mix but some sweet artisanal and special strains if that sounds appealing to you. Ridiculously fast shipping as well compared to import sites.

That is great result with 120w light, bro! Try to upgrade high watt light (if suitable), i surely you will get impressive result.
Denzul
Denzulcommented5 years ago
@thomasgreen, thanks. Its was actually a 600w hos but since it shared a tent with 4 other ladies I said each recieved about 120ws. Now I have a custom built 300w LED set up in there. Ladies definetly notice the difference.

right on man you vegged with a hps?!
Denzul
Denzulcommented6 years ago
@jessevasquez94, they recieved about a week or 2 of LED mixed with CFL in the beginning. Then it was nothing but 600w HPS dimmed anywhere from 50%-100% depending on how they were looking and temps. My theory is the over powering HPS light causes the plant to create as much shade as it can for itself/leaves to soak up as much light. My HPS vegged plants definetly filled out a fuller canopy then the full LED ladies. Much more stretch on the LED grow. Actually added a pic of the full HPS grow tent canopy
jessevasquez94
jessevasquez94commentedweek 86 years ago
looking superb still! still cant get over how perfect that canopy is!
Denzul
Denzulcommented6 years ago
@jessevasquez94, really appreciate the kind words! It's been a constant fight. Hours and hours of LST + 3 freezer bags full of defoliated leaves appears to be paying off. Plus the HPS really seems to drive vegitative growth. I'll try to get a full tent pic up soon to show the full canopy.
