I start this grow with big expectations after I read only good reviews about this strain. I germinate the seed in a small tent along with 4 Blue Dream clones. After transferring in a bigger pot I will give her an entire tent.
After 6-7 days of Low Stress Training, the plant looks gorgeous with a lot of branches and vigorous growth
The genetics of this plant really impressed me! Also, I already need to feed her 3 litres of nutrient water
Very good week. My plant stretched a bit and it is difficult to keep it at a fair distance under the lights.
800-850 ppm seems to be the sweet spot in this stage
The flowering stage is going nicely. I needed to do some LST, defoliating and trimming in the last 2 weeks but the results are amazing. Probably more than 50 branches with a lot of colas on top.
I am now feeding nutrients for bloom stage but I kept the superthrive for one more week
The buds have started to gain weight and they throw pistils after pistils. The smell is mild but very sweet
Until now didn't show any nutrient deficiency or issues. Very strong plant
Everything goes better than I expected. Very early in flower and already the plant has some pretty big flowers and the smell is stronger.
I increased the ppm to 1100-1200.
I struggle to keep the plant tied because it is still stretching to the lights
I noticed some nutrient burn on the leaves and I flush the coco coir with plain PH water once and from next week I will reduce the concentration
The plant doesn't seem very affected by the nutrient burn
The buds are fattening fast and they gain weight day by day. The branches already can't support some of the buds and need more support
I reduced the nutrient concentration to around 900ppm
I intend to flush it with plain water again at the end of the week
I tried the supercrop method and I observed good results on the selected branches.
The buds are very fat and heavy, being barely supported by branches and ties but the trichomes are still milky. Maybe another couple of weeks until harvest. I will start flushing next week with plain water because I still notice some nutrient burn on the leaves. And some of the leaves are crumbling. The plant it's also very close to the lights and some light bleaching occurred on some leaves
Flushing with PH 6 water. It seems that it will last another week for sure. The smell is pungent and sweet. Very dense and long buds, more than 20cm in length.
I am so satisfied with this strain! It is a huge plant with gigantic buds!! And with only 2x300W Viparspectra LED lights
The second week of flushing. Some of the leaves from the bottom of the plant are already yellow or light green. It seems that now she consumes the nutrient buildup from the bottom leaves.
Still milky trichomes, but I spotted a few amber.
Also, the buds gained a purple shade, looks awesome!
week 14
This strain is literally a monster!! It is very resilient even to hard stress training and over feed. I can't wait to dry it! The buds are very dense, long and fat with a nice purple shade.
After drying I have 376g of dry bud. Additionally, I had 76g of popcorn buds and trim that was extracted in 500ml coconut oil.
This harvest helped me to gain confidence that I can grow even bigger plants from now on. It was pretty easy to grow this Think Different and to reach this size. Very resilient and forgiving plant, high yielder and strong effects.
It seems to be high in THC because it makes me very high after 1 joint and after the second I am already stoned and sleepy :) I am a medical user and I use it mostly for chronic pain & GI with amazing results!
The smoke it is still a bit harsh, perhaps will be more smooth after proper curing.
Definitely I will try again this strain under more light!!
@AstroBoy, oh no, I will use only the trim, sugar leaves and the popcorn buds for the oil. I am actually growing 3 clones of Blue Dream (another tent) exclusively for canna oil
@Reaper, I have no experience with soil so I don't know what to say... But you should expect nice results from this strain if you provide her with good growing conditions. Also, she's pretty resilient and I think could be grown with success by any grower, experienced or not
@BreakingBud, yeah, it really impressed me. I can't wait to try again this strain under more lights. I wonder if I can grow a bigger one. It has a lot of potential
@BreakingBud, I can say that it was a pretty bushy plant from the beginning, but also is very resilient to defoliation and even topping. I broke by mistake the top cola and shortly after, I broke another 2 colas from the top. I thought that she will die, but she responded very well to high level of stress
Wow gorgeous monster auto! Loving the purple you're getting.
Lol i snapped the main cola off one of my autos right now too. I thought she was a goner, but she's still turned out beautiful just a bit smaller than she might have been.
Hey can i ask you one question? How often did you water your seedlings at the beginning? I use the same fertilizer and watered per hand daily to runoff but the root development is soo slow and i think i have problems with my watering practice so the plants dont develope a good root mass because they stay all the day wet.. Did you water every day to runoff or did you water only a little amount near the stem of the seedlings? Hope you can help me a little out
And did your ph stay at 5.5-6.2 range with the ph perfect nutrients? Or did you ph it down/up to your ph you wanted to have it?
@Psychonaut, what coco do you use? Im using the canna coco its pre washed rinsed and buffered so this should not be the problem, i wait now til the coco feels light and water it again. Got some roots now but some of the plants turned pale/yellow green and i found on a website they got nutrient deficiency because of the overwatering god damn 🤔 how do you manage the fertilizer buildup if you never flush the coco? Canna, coco said you should water to 20% runoff and wait until the pots feels light again but always with runoff because of the nutrient buildup
@Herb420, hello!
I am sure that your issue is overwatering. I am watering my plants by hand, seedlings the same. I need to use a bit of PH down to obtain the desired PH, thats means approx 6 for me. I am watering the seedlings once at 3 days but without runoff. And I always check the pot to be light, so no water left inside before watering. if its heavy, I will wait one more day. I had problems with overwatering before and now I am doing my best to avoid it :)
