Cherry Inferno

Stony_German Tag 3 Veg Today I received more photos. The 80 ml of watering the solo cups lasted 6 days. After that, they got another 80 ml with Canna Rhizotonic and Great White microbes, half from the top and half from the bottom. He dimmed the Sanlight stixx 54w full spectrum to 40%, and above that, he has his 24w Veg LED with blue spectrum. This way, the young ladies are getting around 320 PPFD in light intensity. 4 look very good, one Iced Up Cherries has a slight leaf mutation that will definitely grow out, a Zero Gravity x Dante's Inferno hasn't opened for days after shedding the membrane. I will probably dispose of these two. But we will see how they develop by then; a lot can still change. They definitely look good, and I can take care of them without worry. One should expect that from his "grow apprentice." 😉

Stony_German Tag 10 veg: I got the last pictures of the girls in their temporary home. This weekend, my grow room will be set up again. The renovations are finished. My grow bro can't finish the Iced up Cherries I gave away after all. I'm going to send them into bloom in the 40x40x120 mini tent and just see what happens. I'm expecting issues with stretch and humidity, but it's just going to be an experiment; I've never grown in such a small space. I can always stop, so let's see how it goes. I'll take a picture every now and then, maybe even a new "just" bloom report just for them. Otherwise, the Iced up Cherries with the leaf mutation is being sorted out, which is why it's still in the solo cup in the photos, and the grow will look like this: 3 plants: One Frozen Tropicana Cherry, one Zero Gravity (= GMO x Oreoz) X Dante's Inferno, and one Iced UP Cherries will get organic slow-release fertilizer from Greenhouse Bio Feeding. A Frozen Tropicana Cherry will be fertilized with Canna Terra mineral nutrients. Just for fun and back to my roots, and because the fertilizer is getting older and has been sitting in the basement for 4 or 5 years. I'll stick with organic fertilization, but occasionally go mineral. Why not? Canna has given me very good results for a long time. I just hope it's not bad from the long storage. All will be grown in 16-liter fabric pots. The 3 organics will be placed on the AC Infinity self-watering base to avoid dry spots, and will be watered from below unless I add additives, which I will give from above. The mineral lady will be placed on the Drainmaster to ensure proper runoff and to measure the runoff EC. Update Day 12 Veg: My babies have arrived at Daddy's. I've set up my grow room again, and the ladies that were repotted 5 days ago will now get used to their new home. I've already filled the 16L fabric pots with my soil mix and watered them with fungi and bacteria (Dynomyco, Great White, Dynomyco Spark). I also aerated a compost tea for 48 hours and added the previously mentioned microbes at the end. The compost tea consisted of worm humus, alfalfa, kelp, and the good gold syrup from the supermarket as a sugar source. The soil will now start to come to life.

Stony_German Tag 15 veg and 22 days after the seeds went into the glass of water on 07.05. After the young ladies settled in for 5 days, they were moved this morning into their final 15L fabric pots with Great White and Dynomyco in the planting hole. The 1.3L pots were emptied every day (200ml). This morning they were nice and dry, perfect for repotting. You can also see it in the slightly droopy leaves that they were thirsty. A ZeroGravity x Dantes Inferno, FrozenTropcana Cherry, and Iced up Cherries received 50g Greenhouse Bio Feeding Grow as a top dress and were watered with 2 liters (Greenhouse Enhancer and Dynomyco Spark). They already got the top dress with GH Feeding Grow since it takes a while to become available. I don’t want any deficiencies like with the Frozen Abyss. All 3 are on the AC Infinity self-watering mat (to prevent dry spots later in the grow and my summer vacation trips). A Frozen Tropicana Cherry is being fed mineral with Canna Terra, so I only watered it with Canna Rhizotonic and Dynomyco Spark, also 2 liters. It’s on the Drainmaster. For the mineral grow, Canna Terra Professional soil + 15% perlite is used. This week, due to repotting, no feeding is necessary yet. The organic ladies are in 80% BioBizz Lightmix + 10% Plagron worm humus + 10% perlite. A handful of alfalfa pellets, rock dust, and half a handful of shell lime and crustacean meal (only used because I have it in the basement, it’s optional; there’s enough of everything in the GH Feeding). PPFD is around 450, and the VPD is usually around 1.0-1.2. I think in about a week, topping will be done and training will begin.

Stony_German Tag 22 Veg The young ladies have now recovered from the stress after 10 days in the 15l pot and 7 days after topping, and they have started to spread their roots throughout the pot. You can tell because all the pots are empty after 2 days at the latest 3. In this report, I only mentioned the mineral fertilization since the 3 organic ones only received Plagron Power Roots and Power Zym. The mineral Frozen Tropicana Cherry was watered with an EC of 1.2. The ppfd is at 450 and the vpd at 1.1. It's also time to start with LST and open up the plants a bit, directing the side shoots in the desired direction. So far, I've just tucked the large leaves under the stronger-growing side shoots. Frozen Tropicana Cherry mineral shows no deficiencies and strong growth with a nice structure. Frozen Tropicana Cherry organic looks very similar, just has slightly smaller leaves. ZeroGravity x Dantes Inferno is really appealing to me. It shows strong growth in width and height. Perfect appearance, just how I like the internode spacing. Iced up Cherries looks like a little football with very tight internodes. It remains a bit stockier, so I will have to wait a bit longer with the LST here. At the end of the day, everything is going according to plan without any problems. The humidity due to the ongoing rain and the temperature is currently high, but that's not an issue during veg. The dust-catching fleece on the activated carbon filter has also been renewed. The performance of the inline fan is noticeably stronger immediately. Tag 25 Veg update. The last 11 pictures show how strong the growth is at the moment. After I gave the Greenhouse Feeding Bio Grow as a topdress this time (12 days ago), the ladies prefer that much more than mixing the new soil with the fertilizer during repotting. The lower ppfd of 450 also shows advantages. Canna is doing its job perfectly. The leaf stems are reddish, which should be genetically determined since all shoots show no purple, which often indicates a slight nutrient imbalance. The compost tea I had left over from repotting our chilies on the balcony surely pleased them. It wasn't even half a liter per lady, so I didn't mention it, but I feel obligated to write this here afterward to keep everything transparent for my growmies. I would advise against mixing the fertilizer into the soil after this run or allowing only a few cm of Lightmix direct contact with the roots around the planting hole.

Stony_German Tag 35 veg It's really thriving and there's not much space left. This weekend, they all need to be defoliated. Too many shoots are getting too little light. I'll take pictures once they've all been to the hairdresser. 😉 The mineral lady is getting Canna Terra veg, Rhizotonic, and Cannazym with an EC of 1.2 every second watering. And of course, there was another f... up on my part when I broke off a main shoot. It's a shame about the symmetry, but there's still enough time in veg where it won't matter much; still, everyone here understands how frustrating that is for me. Other than that, there's not much to report except that I'm very happy with how robust everyone is growing. Update after the big defoliation in preparation for flowering. Tag 36 Veg. Defoliation done today and a little LST to open up the canopy. Now nice light is reaching the lower shoots. After this stress, all three organic ladies received the Greenhouse Enhancer, and the mineral lady only got half the dose of Dynomyco Spark, which also contains Seaweed and Humin/Fulvin. That helps a bit with recovery. They'll have the next week to recover, then I'll reduce the light by an hour each day. The weather at 30C and this humid heat makes it hard to maintain the VPD. 0.9 is still within range, but I would prefer it a bit drier and cooler. Happy growing to everyone!

Stony_German Tag 42 veg and Day 0 flowering: In the last week, there was 1 hour less light each day, and since today we're at 12/12, the flowering phase can begin. The scrog net has also been set up, which will serve more as support. Everything I defoliated last week has grown back. They're drinking a lot right now. You can already see the stretch starting, and my nerves are on high alert 😱 like every time. I'm very satisfied with the 15-liter pot size; it's the perfect measure for our 120x90 grows with 4 plants. I'll only use 20 L if only 3 plants are left after the seedlings phase; that can always happen. Now a big THANK YOU to my wife; she's the best. My birthday gift is a Spiderfarmer dehumidifier that will let me sleep more peacefully this summer. We do have one, but it doesn't blow the dried air directly into the tent like this Spiderfarmer dehumidifier does. Since the new one is outside, it doesn't raise the temperature in the grow box. One in the apartment and the new one directly into the tent lets me sleep this summer without mold paranoia. And lo and behold, humidity is no longer a problem this summer. I was able to lower it from 65% to 50% without any issues in just 10 minutes. I'm more than satisfied with what Spiderfarmer has brought to the market for just €210. The only downside is that the Prima Klima fan (max. 400m³/h) isn't strong enough, and the tent is inflating, which prevents the activated carbon filter from working properly. To regain negative pressure, I've ordered a new Prima Klima Whisperer ECTC (800m³/h) with a matching activated carbon filter. It also has an EC motor that is significantly quieter. I'll keep the 8-year-old fan for my future second tent, which will mostly just be for the growth phase. All that's left is an upgrade for the air conditioning and the soon-to-be-released automatic drying/cure that Vivosun is planning for next year, and that at half the price of a Cannatroll, along with the long-awaited second grow box and a small mini humidor (for cigars) where I can take out my finished buds (about 50g) as needed. 😉😁😏😎. Yes, folks, dreaming is allowed, and little by little, it will happen. With legalization, not everything will be confiscated anymore. 👍 The mineral Frozen Tropicana Cherry still gets Canna Terra Vega with an EC = 1.2 every second watering, along with Cannazym and Rhizotonic according to the feeding chart. Today, for the first time, I'm also adding a flowering booster with 2ml/L Canna Boost Accelerator, which will now be given with Cannazym at every watering. I'm seeing again why I enjoyed working with Canna Terra so much. The lady is without the slightest deficiency and looks perfectly healthy. Since there's a few liters of water daily from the dehumidifier with an EC of 0.0, which I use for this Canna Terra program, I'm also adding CalMagSi until I have an output EC of 0.3-0.4. The other 3 organically fed ladies are just as beautiful, healthy, and happy as their "Canna" fed sister. I gave each of the 3 ladies 30g GH-Feeding BioBloom as a topdress with a handful of worm humus. After the second week, they'll get another 50g Bio Bloom and then the mulch. I've also ordered SF nematodes. There are still just a few fungus gnats here and there, but those few will surely multiply. These €6 are worth it for my wife's sake and mine. The organic ladies will also start getting all boosters today, but from Plagron Power Buds, Power Roots, and Powerzym. A preventive dose of CalMag has also been given to the organic ladies, but the organic CalMag from BioBizz. They now have the go-ahead for thick buds and plenty of frost. They are healthy and happy, and you can also see the female sex characteristics, so they are "biologically ripe" to switch to flowering.

Stony_German Tag 7 flowering. The stretch is here. So far, everything is within limits. The ZeroGravity x Dantes Inferno shows classic hybrid growth. Iced up cherries and Frozen Tropicana Cherry are very similar in stretch, which I hope stays that way. All the ladies are now drinking 2 liters every day. To slow down the stretch a bit, I'm not watering right in the morning like I usually do, but letting them have a slight dryback and watering 2 hours after the lights come on, but still in time to prevent the soil from getting too dry for the fungi and bacteria. The early top dress with 30g GH-Biofeeding Bloom will hopefully prevent deficiencies this run. Next weekend they will get the final dose. The smaller ones 40g and the larger ones 50g. They also received the enhancer from GH - Feeding with humic/fulvic and Trichoderma/Bacillus strains, along with CalMag, silica, and Alfaboost with its auxins and hormones. The mineral-fed Frozen Tropicana Cherry is now getting Canna Terra Vega with an EC of 1.4 and CannaBoost/Rhizotonic/Cannazym every second watering, and CalMag/silica once a week, pretty much exactly according to the feeding schedule. My tap water comes with an EC of 0.4, mixed 50/50 with water from the dehumidifier, resulting in a starting EC of 0.2. This way, I balance the lower magnesium content compared to calcium in the tap water with CalMag. When I only watered with tap water (EC 0.4), there was a slight magnesium deficiency visible. Not in all phenos, but better to avoid than to treat. Everything is going according to plan. So far, no signs of problems. The new Spiderfarmer dehumidifier and the new 800m³ Prima Klima Whisperer keep the VPD very stable even without all the fancy controllers. PPFD is at 800 and the VPD is usually around 1.4. pH is adjusted to 6.0 for the mineral lady and 6.3-6.5 for the organics. To stabilize the pH, I add pH- before and after 24 hours of aeration with an aquarium pump.

Stony_German Day 14 Flowering: The stretch has weakened and thankfully not much more is coming. I like the size of the ladies. They are practically screaming for some lollipopping. Inside, they are so dense with so many little shoots that you can hardly see through. I'm still waiting until day 20-21. The hormonal shift to flowering is not yet complete, and the plant wouldn't focus solely on flower production but would just let many leaves grow back. No nutrient deficiencies or any other problems. What’s extreme right now are the temps outside. 38°C is tough even for us, so our air conditioning is running 24/7 and barely manages to cool the whole apartment down to 23-24°C. I'm really happy that I don't have to dry a harvest in this heat. That would be a problem I absolutely couldn't do anything about. The humidity can be controlled with the Spider Farmer dehumidifier. The first trichomes are also visible on all 4 ladies. Frost season has officially started, and the grower and stoner heart beats faster immediately. I roughly adjust the pH in the organic grow to 6.3-6.5. VPD 1.4 - 1.5 is also ideal at night. PPFD 700 - 800 The mineral Frozen Tropicana Cherry (front right) is at EC 1.5, and starting tomorrow it will get Canna Terra Flores (flowering fertilizer) at pH 6.0.

Stony_German Tag 21 Flowering: This week was packed with tasks. After some lollipopping, the organically fed plants received another 30g of Greenhouse Biofeeding Bloom as a topdress. After that, mulch was applied and watered with the enhancer. The mineral-fed Frozen Tropicana Cherry also got 4 liters of Canna Terra Flores (Bloom) with an EC of 1.6 for the first time to flush out the excess veg nutrients. The runoff EC is 2.2, which is perfect for me. It shows that I've been feeding Canna Terra just right. I liked the stretch on these ladies, and they seem to be doing very well so far. The organic Frozen Tropicana Cherry is already turning purple, and I'm excited about the color play of this genetics. I'm as excited as a little kid for this harvest, as this strain has tasted so good that I could still rave about it. Finally, it's in my garden. The Banana Buttercups parent is showing its power with a lot of frost for this early stage. The mineral-fed ones are the same, just without the purple so far. The (GMOxOreoz = Zerogravity) x Dantes Inferno is showing the massive potential of these 3 top genetics. Lots of frost and beautiful stacking. These will definitely be crazy frosty big buds. The Iced up cherries is fortunately a different pheno and hopefully will develop larger buds than its sister in the 40x40 experiment grow. All are drinking less after the lollipopping as usual until they manage the stress, but that's normal. The temps outside are normal, and the VPD fluctuated between 1.3-1.6 even at night, which kept the stretch lower. I also want to thank everyone for the kind words in the many DM messages; I hope I could help everyone a bit with their problems. You can count on me to only give tips that I'm sure about and not the standard (CalMag deficiency is the most common answer, which is nonsense) replies that want to win the grower of the month contest, while the growers are often ignored. Stony_German Tag 28 Flowering: No problems, but you can see how Canna Terra perfectly nourishes the plant even with VPD fluctuations or extreme conditions like stretching, for example. The directly available nutrients are easier to control. I have the EC at 1.6, using water with a starting EC of 0.2 (50/50 tap water/dehumidifier water), so a total EC of 1.8 according to the Canna feeding chart. The pH is adjusted to 6.0. I add CalMag + Silica every second watering without fertilizer. Since the switch to flowering, I’m using fertilizer every second watering. The other organically fed ladies got the P+K Booster Compost Tea from Biotabs for the first time to give the soil life a boost. As a sugar source, I’m using Cane Molasses from RAW and aerated the tea for 36 hours. Why not Orgatrex as Biotabs recommends? Simply because I don’t want to add extra nitrogen with RAW cane molasses (NPK 5-2-5 with Orgatrex). The organic Frozen Tropicana Cherry is already showing purple, so it has a lot from the Tropicana Cherry mother, which makes me particularly happy. The ladies are getting 900-950 ppfd, giving them a strong push. My wetting agent Bionova Flow is empty, so I’m now using RAW Yucca extract in powder form. A pinch is enough for 5 liters. I will stick with this wetting agent, even though I liked Bionova Flow, RAW Yucca is much more efficient and therefore much cheaper in the end. The soil doesn’t become hydrophobic as quickly thanks to the mulch but is much easier to water than without Yucca extract. How nice it is to open the tent and see this sea of emerging buds. The frost production is more than satisfactory for flowering day 28. Budporn season has started; I hope you like the pictures. Wishing all growmies a great weekend.

Stony_German Tag 35 Flowering: This week there’s quite a bit to mention again. Let’s start with the little bastards. The 12 million nematodes are showing success. There are hardly any fungus gnats on the new yellow traps, and the larvae in the soil now have a merciless 😁 opponent. F... You little Moth..F..ers. Luckily, I immediately watered with nematodes again during the second outbreak 😈. A bit overdosed, but it’s worth it for my wife. She hates those critters even more than I do. The organically fed ladies received another 36-hour aerated P+K booster compost tea from BioTabs. I diluted the 2 liters of compost tea with 2 liters of water from the dehumidifier and distributed it among the 3. The bacteria in the tea mainly make phosphorus available, which is good for my beauties. The fade has already begun, and the colors are slowly becoming more intense; who doesn’t love this play of colors? I would have preferred it to last another week, but yes, complaining at a high level. I also always adjust the pH in organic grows. Sometimes more, sometimes less, always around +/- 6.3p. The minerally fed Frozen Tropicana Cherry in the front right looks perfect. Canna Terra has been my fertilizer for at least 20 years, so it’s no wonder that I have the perfect dosage in my blood here. The current EC when watering every second time is at 1.6 with a starting water value of EC-0.2. This will be increased to 1.8 next week. Then, for the first time, I’ll give PK 13/14, but only after the weekend. I’ve found a rhythm that has always worked well. The first 2 times 0.5ml/l, then 2 times with 1.0ml/l, and then 1 or 2 times 1.5ml/l. So I’ll only give PK 13/14 a max of 6 times. Every second feeding means between flowering day 38 and 50. After that, the EC will also be slowly lowered. I hope I explained that clearly. Otherwise, feel free to DM me (preferably Dennis & Tanja). To prepare the substrate for the P+K 13/14 boost, I flushed once with 5 liters. The 2 liters of drain had an EC of 2.7. When watering next time, only adjusted with CalMag to EC 0.4, the drain had an EC of 2.0. That’s good for me. I don’t want any salt deposits before adding PK 13/14. This way, usually only the tips of the leaves get “burned” a few mm. I often see that PK is underestimated, regardless of which mineral fertilizer manufacturer. The pH for Canna Terra is usually adjusted to +/- 6.0. VPD is usually around 1.2 - 1.5 with a PPFD of 700-900, depending on where it’s measured (Photon app with original diffuser). I’m currently trying to avoid drybacks and prefer to water a little less daily so that the substrate is always well-moistened but not too wet. The plant knows it can form larger buds if enough water is available. The buds will swell week by week, and I’m already looking forward to the bulk phase. The little Iced up Cherries in the 40x40 will also be harvested in the coming days. Luckily, the summer is just nice for drying, and even though I’ll process almost the entire plant into hash, I still want to dry the top buds well and give them a good cure. Stony_German Tag 42 Flowering The ladies have entered the bulk phase, and the buds are getting thicker. Even though the temperature is currently maxing out at 25-26 degrees Celsius, the Zero Gravity is showing some slight foxtails, which is often passed down from the GMO genetics. As long as it doesn't get too much, it doesn't bother me. The autumn colors that have appeared earlier look very nice, but they're a bit too early for my taste. The difference is clearly visible compared to my nutrient-fed Frozen Tropicana Cherry in the front right, which is still juicy green. Therefore, I have given the 3 organically fed plants a P+K Booster Compost Tea from BioTabs, aerated with Orgatrex and PK 5-8 for 36 hours. They'll get another round in a few days to ensure there's enough NPK for the last 3-4 weeks. My watering routine right now is such that I don't allow any drybacks in the bulk phase. Every morning, about 30 minutes after the lights come on, they get 1-1.5 liters. I check each one individually to see how much moisture is still in the pot and water accordingly, one more, one less. Especially in this phase, I want perfectly watered ladies. It's a bit different for the FTC fed with Canna Terra. There, I allow a dryback every other day and then water with drain (about 0.5 liters) and check the EC and pH of what comes out. Today, they received PK 13/14 for the third time and show no burning. My old recipe, as described last week, is still working very well. Since I need soil for the next grow anyway, I've ordered some more. For the next grows, I'll be doing 2 with Canna Terra and the other 2 (from my wife) organically (sponsored by BioTabs), so I wanted to get the CalMag Agent and Canna Flush from Canna, as well as the pH+ and pH-. This way, I have the complete Canna fertilizer program again. BioTabs sent me 2 Perfect Plant Packs. For that, I’m supposed to do a bit of advertising and take some photos of the products here and there. I can do that with a clear conscience because BioTabs is simple and works very well. With that, I have everything at home that I need for the next runs (OK, yes, the soil is always freshly ordered). Now for the negative experiences in this run that need to be mentioned. For about a month, I've been using the new dehumidifier from Spiderfarmer and collecting the water with an EC of 0.0, mixing it with tap water about 50/50, but not adjusting it with CalMag to an EC of 0.4 every time. That's why some leaves have the typical calcium deficiency spots, but only on the organic ones. Luckily, I noticed it early, and from now on, the correct CalMag addition will have my full attention. The organic ladies will get the organic CalMag from BioTabs, and the mineral ones from Canna will get the CalMag Agent. The smell is getting more intense. It's still early, but I’d say it's heading towards lemon. The Frozen Tropicana Cherry the most, one sweet lemon and the other sour lemon like Mr. Clean. Even the Iced up Cherries have lemon in the foreground and not at all like the ones in the 40x40 tent after Cookie with a bit of red fruit. A slightly more pronounced smell is coming from the Zero Gravity x Dante's Inferno, so I won't say much about it yet, but it's heading towards gassy, earthy. I hope pine terps come through, but 🙏🙏😏. One more thing made me happy yesterday. I visited "GreenGlasses." He took over my Cherry Poppers and my Super Lemon Haze x RS11 from the aborted grow. Wow, the buds look beautiful a few days before harvest and smell great. He's still quite inexperienced, but he's done pretty well with them, and he's on a good path to getting better. I'm doing my best to support him with advice and help. I hope the drying goes well for him. It's often underestimated but makes the difference between delicious and meh. Feel free to check him out.

Stony_German Tag 49 Flowering: We are in the final phase before the trichomes ripen. The calyxes are swelling now, and the buds are gaining weight. For the organically fed ladies, it was the last time for the enhancer from Greenhousefeeding, silica, alfaboost, molasses, and compost tea. For the mineral Frozen Tropicana Cherry, the PK-13/14 boost is also over. Now the EC is slowly being lowered. To flush the substrate of any potential salt deposits, I watered with 4 liters at an EC of 1.6 and measured the drain. The EC of the runoff was 2.0, which has once again proven my old fertilization strategy to be perfect for me. Only minimal tip burn shows that I was close to the max that they can tolerate. It can only get better with crop steering on coco or hydroponically. This visual delight, every time I open the grow tent, comes with a strong smell, and I’m so glad I got a larger Prima Klima and activated carbon filter. The humidity can easily be kept at 50% thanks to the Spiderfarmer dehumidifier, which allows me a VPD between 1.3-1.6. Perfect for me as well. I think it’s time to describe the terps. I know some have been waiting for this. As always, they become more gassy at the end, but I’ll give it a try. Zero Gravity (=GMO x Oreoz) comes strongly after GMO. Skunky sour gas fits best. Iced up Cherries (=Caked up Cherries x Banana Buttercups) is sweet but more citrusy and not like the doughy-sweet pheno in the harvested 40x40 experiment grow. Frozen Tropicana Cherry (Tropicana Cherry by Relentless Genetics Breeders Cut x Banana Buttercups) is mineral. Very sour like lemon citrus soap or floor cleaner like most Proper or a lemon dish soap. Frozen Tropicana Cherry organic (Pink Buds) is very sweet. Bubblegum but like red fruit, not the chemical artificial pink bubblegum or Juicy Fruit. My favorite in terms of terps and visually a dream for every gardener.

Stony_German Tag 56 Flowering: We are in the final phase where there’s nothing to do but water and keep the climatic conditions as good as summer allows. Man, I’m so glad to have a dehumidifier that stands outside the tent and only blows dry air into the tent without raising the temperature like most dehumidifiers set up in the grow space with the plants. The beautiful sight every time I open the tent is the well-deserved reward for the months of care for the ladies who are now showing their flowers and wonderful colors in full beauty. I don’t even want to start on the smell. I see why Tropicana Cherry is so popular. Besides the colors, the terps are also very strong and "loud," but also the solid buds and the yield. Everything fits so far. "She checks all the boxes," as our growmies across the pond say.😉 What stands out is how the (GMOxOreoz) x Dante's Inferno has caught up. I was a bit worried because it didn’t smell as intense. But wow, it has gained a lot in a week. It’s probably also due to the sandy trichomes that it most likely inherited from the GMO ancestors. The smell is hard to describe. A bit sweet, but dominant earthy skunk with a piercing and sharp gassy note. Now let’s talk about the other phenos: What they all have in common is the stretch, which has been almost the same for all and caused no problems. The mineral-fed Frozen Tropicana Cherry is going to be a yield and frost monster. Rock-hard buds with very skunky sour lemon and soapy terps. It has large and thick flowers that are incredibly dense and hard. It "stacks" just as one could wish. I see why Canna Terra has been my favorite fertilizer (mineral) for so long. It works perfectly with tap water and performs perfectly without reverse osmosis and all that nonsense. As for the organically fed Frozen Tropicana Cherry beauty, you just have to look at her and you’re happy. But it’s not just the colorful pink buds that deserve praise; the terps are wow. Sweet fruit with a hint of mint and gassy. The inconspicuous-looking and slightly less frosty Iced up Cherries is the hidden terp jewel. Extremely "loud & dank." Woe to anyone who touches the sugar leaves because the fingers smell for a long time and stick so much that you can hardly roll a doobie. Even after 15 minutes, my fingers still smelled of overripe fruit salad standing in a gas station with lemon-cherry Capri Sun dressing poured over it. I’m glad it’s a different pheno than the sister in the 40x40 experiment with the puny buds that also got that pheno on THCTitans Discord. This pheno will yield decently, but when it comes to terpenes, the Iced up Cherries currently has the edge. The first trichomes are milky, and the calyxes are swelling more and more now. Stony_German Tag 63 Flowering The 10th week begins and the ladies are almost ready, but there are still too many clear trichomes and the first ones are only just turning amber. If I were to WPFF, meaning wash and press liverosin, it would be harvest time now or in a few days. As it looks, it will take about another 10 days. In my experience, these are the crucial days when many secondary compounds like terpenes and cannabinoids are still being produced. The smell is fantastic every time I open the tent. Since summer is taking a break from the heat, I can maintain lower temperatures and preserve all the volatile terpenes. So I'm really lucky with the weather right now. In the last few days, I've started watering only with water, adjusted with Canna CalMag (EC 0.5) (pH 6.0-6.2). For the mineral-fed Frozen Tropicana Cherry, I'm still mixing 2ml/L Canna Flush into the watering to flush out salts. I keep the drain low. I'm fine with just having 5% drain (the EC is at 1.4 and pH 6.1). I couldn't wish for anything better. Canna Terra has once again worked more than perfectly. The ladies are still drinking a lot, which shows me that they still want to grow and that it would be too early to harvest them. Every grower knows that in the end, they drink very slowly and literally tell you that it's time. I find it very important to observe the plants and not to rigidly follow any plan. Since we're going on vacation in a few days, I will have to entrust the harvest and hanging of the plants to my old grow bro, as well as the pre-cultivation of the new grow. I hope the ladies aren't dry when I get back. But I don't want to bore anyone with that. You can imagine how it is not to be there in the last few days. Stony_German Tag 70 Flowering: The ladies are ready. However, since I'm still on vacation with my family, my grow bro will cut down the ladies in a few days and hang them upside down in the same tent. I'll be back in just a few days to finish the drying. The air conditioning in the apartment will be set to max, and the humidifier to 60%. If you compare the trichomes from last week, you can see that it's much worse to harvest early than to let them stand for another week. Way too many growers harvest too early and hurt themselves more than they think. They could even stand for another week. In the end, they will be harvested on day 75. Stony_German Tag 76 And it's harvest day. This week pure bud porn. The photos are already 3 days old. With 76 days, this time it was harvested a bit later, and still, at most 10 to 15% of the trichomes are slightly amber. Since I'll be home the day after tomorrow, I can monitor the last 8-10 days of drying myself. My grow bro has really been visiting my MILFs every 2 days and has perfectly managed the new grow, which is also 7 days old today. Of course, he could snack from my stash as much as he wanted. I think that made his work a bit easier. 😏😄 We grew up together, so I have complete trust in him and his growing knowledge. Still, no one likes to leave this final phase to someone else. Stony_German What a yield. Crazy, it completely surprised me how heavy and dense the buds are, especially from the one fed with Canna Terra, so mineral-based. The colors of the organically fed ones are a feast for the eyes. Pink and purple and a bit more tropical fruit than the mineral Mr. Clean or Mr. Proper Lemon.
