Natrona Divine Seeds Auto Candy Outside Grow W2V2 June 15-21 I put auto Candy outside yesterday 6/18 since it was the first day of full sun in over a week. The Almanac pic shows that our month to date rainfall is 3.11 inches and 2/3 of it was in the last week. The expected weather is supposed to be sunny next week. Needless to say, the anticipated sunny days are a mixed blessing. The temperatures for the next 10 days will exceed 90f and with this heat the humidity often exceeds 65-70%. This means the” feels like” temperatures exceed 100F, Since she is transitioning to the outside, I gave her a light feed I49 grow. Natrona Divine Seeds Auto Candy Outside Grow W3V1 June 22-28 6/25 it’s official, Hell has arrived. For the last week our temperatures have been over 95f with the heat index, the feels like temperatures approach 115F. We have been under an extreme heat advisory. Stay inside, stay hydrated, put salt in your water for electrolytes, dress in loose clothing, etc. Remember I posted pictures of our bridge opening with boats…Well the extreme heat broke the bridge around 3pm. It is a primary thoroughfare and was closed indefinitely to traffic. They fixed it around 8pm. Traffic was a nightmare. It also shows the limits of evacuating in case of hurricanes. 6/22 1 liter of water around the edges of the pot to wet the full soil mass. A few leaves have burnt edges where I left the cloche on during the day. It will be fine. I moved Auto Black Opium outside because she didn’t grow any and is still mutant. I’m not tracking her now for the contest but as a comparison, the Candy & black opium were started on the same day. It’s still hot but the heat index remained below 100. Auto Candy had a growth spurt this week doubling her size from all the rain and heat. She is 12.5 inches tall and so far, doesn’t mind the heat and humidity. My little candy girl is becoming a lady. Little white pistils appeared at the nodes. Bring on the flowers. Candy is doing well with the heat and humidity. Japanese beetles have been eating a few leaves. Hopefully her flowers will stink and keep away the bugs. Natrona Divine Seeds Auto Contest Candy Outside Grow 👉Sponsored Grow👈 W7F3 7/13-19 The weather was rainy with thunderstorms early in the week becoming hot, humid and overcast. I only got to fertilize once this week and thankfully with all the rain we’ve had she doesn’t show any deficiencies. I fertilized with I49 grow 1 tbsp/gal & 2 tbsp I49 Flower. With the extreme heat and rain, my auto Candy grew 11 inches and is now 39 inches tall. She had a some minor bug damage last week but no worries. She is standing next to a plant with powdery mildew and demonstrates resistance to fungal diseases. ( I did move her further away to be safe and Im spraying the other plant wth H2O2 solution. In the background noise on the video is Cicadas. When they hatch, they crawl onto a tree or plant and molt. The adult has wings. This is the empty body casing. Natrona 🍬Divine Seeds Auto Contest Candy 🍬Outside Grow 👉Sponsored Grow👈 W8F4 7/20-26 The hot weather returned with humidity and days of scattered thunderstorms. I fertilized once this week with I49 and top dressed with worm castings. No deficiencies so far 😊. Thankfully with all the rain we’ve had this month she doesn’t show any deficiencies or bud or root rot. I fertilized with I49 grow 1 tbsp/gal & 2 tbsp I49 Flower. With the extreme heat and rain, my auto Candy grew 2 more inches and is now 41 inches. Those inches are mostly buds puffing up with more hairs.
