Bread_n_Buds Good morning, we're finally here.
We've changed locations, still in southern Spain, but this time much closer to the sea and with a Mediterranean climate, like my Italian roots. Love it.
We'll start with the autoflowering plants first; this time, they'll all be grown without cutting techniques. We'll always have two plants: one grown with just a little tidying and left to grow straight, and the other using techniques that don't involve cutting, and therefore slowing things down.
I need weed; the grower must also consider this, so the autoflowering plants will finish as quickly as possible.
In most cases, it will be a nice, firm LST, not too delicate, and I'll fim if the plant seems to touch the sky, as has happened recently, probably thanks to the Plagron fertilizers, which will be with us this time too.
The chosen soil is the recently released Plagron Bio LightMix, which will allow us a more regular and reliable start without the sudden changes that liquid fertilizers can cause.
We're 100% organic this time too. For the germination, we also used Seedbooster as soon as it arrived with the last and first 75% water + 25% hydrogen peroxide - *** In my opinion, it's very important to add hydrogen peroxide if you start with the seed in a small glass of water. As soon as it's opened, it would drown too; the oxygen bubbles in the hydrogen peroxide prevent suffocation.

Our Karen Kush really started off like a rocket, the fastest of all. We just pretended to smoke the jar of the photoperiod version and we still have the incense flavor in our mouths. Great strain, great flavor and plant.
This seedling started out very well; the other had trouble releasing the seed and placenta, and germination stalled. I'm germinating another one, it's arriving very soon.

Bread_n_Buds We're halfway through the first week, day 10 to be more precise at the time of the photo. We've chosen to stay on 24/7 for at least the first few weeks, as we're in a hurry to finish at least the autoflowering plants so we can have some weed for Christmas.
Our Karen Kush Auto is the best of the bunch, the queen of our autoflowering plants right now. Anything can happen, but look at the difference compared to the others. It seems incredible that she did all this in 10 days, but it happened. This is thanks to the 24/7 light, a practice that in my opinion is a bit aggressive, but one that growers in a hurry to harvest absolutely must embrace. I'm now going to switch to 20/4, but many are leaving it until the end. Naturally, it changes the nutrient intake a bit, and there are some delicate aspects to be careful about.

Bread_n_Buds Our two Karen Kush Automatics are truly beautiful and eager to thrive and grow very large. They are clearly plants with wide internodal spacing, so they will be easy to train using LST.
This plant has grown incredibly fast; it's crazy to see what it's done in 17 days, so it was hard to keep her nutrient balance, but we're there; this plant will give us great satisfaction.
Special LST: This time, LST was started on a plant with wide internodal spacing, making it very easy to train, but also quite easy to damage, so gentleness and careful study of the plant make the difference. Training isn't enough; I first observe the natural growth of the stem, do a few test bends to choose the direction to start, and then I train. I attach them to the holes in the pot if they are with string, and the difference is made by what I'm about to say. The plant can easily be uprooted or otherwise damaged at the beginning of LST, so we need to create a force on the opposite side, a sort of tie rod that prevents the plant from moving too far forward. Looking at the photos should make sense; in many cases, it's advisable to apply a tie rod.
We pushed the following fertilization for vegetative growth, but the internodes have risen, and we're in pre-flowering next week. News...
