Natrona Strawberry Cadillac W1 11/9-15 I stacked three crates to bring the seedlings closer to the light and arranged the tent gals on the perimeter so these can be directly under the humidifier. I check them daily and give them a good misting with deionized water. 11/14 Pictures and I gave a watering with some cal mag and recharge because one of these gals showed light tips Indicating a need for nutrients. Strawberry Cadillac are 4 inches tall. They are in a 4-inch pot and already the roots are showing out of the holes in the bottom. I will have to transplant soon; I have already prepared 6 -1.5 gallon pots with Happy Frog soil and earthworm castings. I prepared the planting hole with Dynomyco. Natrona Strawberry Cadillac -Strng Seeds W3 11/23-28 11/22 60 ml and added a Exhale CO2 bag to the tent. 11/24 Started fertilizer for all strawberry collection. Each of them had yellowing on the lowest leaf. I removed these on all of them. Each received 120ml. 2 drops aptus startbooster in 2 liters. 2 drops aptus regulator /2 liter Growtime 2.25ml/ltr Calmag 1.5 ml/ltr PH 6.67 Ppm 716 Temp 66.7 I brought in from outside my prepared pots to transplant. I tested the soil temperature, and it was 58 degrees which is too cold to plant. I prepared the tent area by moving in shelving and stacking crates to keep them close to the light. I put the pots in the tent overnight to warm the soil and transplanted them the next day. On transplanting, I poured 500 ml ph 5.84 temp 73.5 and 294 ppm into the planting hole. Once I transplanted, I poured an additional 500 ml around the planting hole. Strawberry Cadillac #1 has a mutation. It has only 1 leaf (10fronds) with no opposite. Instead, the main shoot comes of the node to the side. This week the girls doubled in size. She is the mutant with the main shoot coming off the side. Since she is already weird, I attempted to FIM her. I gathered all the top section and cut off 75%. This method is supposed to create multiple colas rather than control the height of the plant. They all looked fine the next day and did not show any distress. I decided to try Real Growers Grow Dots for this grow, so when I transplant, I will stir in Grow Dots into the soil and water only and CalMag as necessary. This decision is made to remove some tedious steps. This gal already drinks more than the others and after I took pictures, 2 big fan leaves show nitrogen deficiency. So, she needs more food than the others. The soil base is 50/50 Fox Farm Happy Frog and Coast of Maine. The Strawberry’s received 1.5 liters 3 times this week. A big week for defoliation and lollipop. It is evident that topping an asymmetrical plant does create 2 tops. SC1 has 2 tops but at this late week, I wont amount to much. If you have an asymmetrical plant just train and not top. The 6 Strawberry plants are huge for 7 weeks. Originally, I was planning to wait until January to transplant, however, the roots were showing out of the bottom of the pots, and every plant is over a foot tall and half are over 2 feet any larger they would be unmanageable.. I had to have my husband assist in the transplant to hold the plant as I held the fabric pot open. These are heavy feeders. All showed some nitrogen deficiency earlier on and I’ve increased feeding. I planned to use grow dots extended for photo period plants when I transplanted them to 5 gal. I asked Santa in early November, and he kept sending notice that the order had been delayed. So, I decided to use TPS1 for this grow. I flipped to 12/12 on 12/28 and will water only this week in hopes of reducing the stretch. I must admit; I took on more than I can handle. I started these in November expecting them to be much smaller at 6 weeks. But no, these gals have grown with vigor. I had these 6 huge plants and 4 autos in the 4X4 tent. They grew faster and bigger than the autoflowers am used to growing. Christmas week was hectic with 5 harvests, 6 transplants and defoliation. I had to have my husband assist in the transplant to hold the plant as I held the fabric pot open. I asked a question on a triple leaf set on one of the Cadillac’s. See Pic above. It is a gene mutation. It is not a true triploid as all the nodes are not triple. There is one other location that has one. It looks like there are bud nubs in the crease. A side note: I’m taking applications for Spring & Summer cabana boy 🧑‍🌾 positions I need when I go to the beach 😉. Natrona Strawberry Cadillac – STRNG Seeds W8 12/28-01/02/26 Happy New Year Friends I have been giving water only ph to 6.4-6.6. I want to reduce the stretch in the first weeks of flower and flush out excess nutrients. 12/29 2 liters 12/31 2.5 liters 55-60% moisture 1/2/26 2 liters the pots are at 55% moisture and need to water more frequently than every three days. So I researched how much water to give to 5 gallon pots. They should receive 1-1.3 gallons of water each watering with 10% run off. I have been underwatering, which is better than overwatering. Anyway, to make sure the pots are saturated with plenty of run off, I gave them 1 gallon each on 1/3. Water, water everywhere 🤪. Every pot overflowed with enthusiasm. This is the photo grow for me to learn and experiment. For HST, I learned fimming doesn’t work, topping I’ve gotten good at but I haven’t tried supercroping before. Cadillac1 towers over everyone, I am thinking about supercropping her to reduce height on the 2 tallest branchesI. These were the topping that I did 2 weeks ago. I’m venturing into uncharted territory. Still undecided on whether to do or not. This 6 photo plant grow is more than I anticipated. I now must have 2- 5 gallon buckets of water ready. 6 gallons for the strawberry collection and 3 gallons for NYCD and tomato. The tent is at max capacity and in 5gallon pots, I can’t lift them.
