Natrona Strawberry Cadillac Lineage: Pearlβ€―Cadillac Γ— Dreamersβ€―Disease Height: Medium Flowering Time: 56–63β€―Days Scent: Strawberries, sugar, plum, apple Both parent plants have amazing terpene profiles, so some phenos lean orange while others lean into strawberry terps, or a combination of both. These strains are bred for flavor and yield, so you can expect a tasty and rewarding grow. Hello Friends, welcome to my new journey in learning more about growing cannabis. This time I’m growing photoperiod strains of String Seeds Strawberry Collection. I won these seeds in the Diary of the month July 2025 with my Sunset Sherbet Automatic Diary. Here is the link if you want to take a look. https://growdiaries.com/diaries/226341-sunset-sherbet-automatic-grow-journal-by-natrona I chose these seeds for the flavor profile and what may be some beautiful colors. In addition, in the back of my mind I wanted to try a full photoperiod grow. The photoperiod strains I’ve grown before have been grown outside, untrained and subject wet and rainy spring followed by over 100f heat and humidity during our summers. Some were lost to bud rot at harvest. These will be my first controlled photo period grow. My tent is AC Infinity 4x4x6.5. I will grow these under 18/6 light hours with my autos (Apricot, Godfather OG, & Blueberry) during the seedling and veg stages. These are supposed to be heavy feeders so I’ll have to keep an eye out for nutrient deficiencies. When the autos are harvested in mid-December, the Strawberry collection will be 6 weeks old. At that time, I will determine, based on their size and temperament, when to flip to 12/12 for flower. That will be near Christmas so I may keep them in veg until the New Year. I plan on training with Hst (topping) and LST. Straw-Trop Cherry and Strawberry Cadillac of the Strawberry collection are 56–63-day flower period. Based on this, these will be close for harvest in Mid-February. Straw-Lectric Lemonade has a 9-week flower phase and ready for harvest in early March. So, friends, wish me luck and thanks for joining me on my new adventure. Stay green, growers love πŸ’šπŸŒΏ πŸ’«NatronaπŸ’«

Natrona Strawberry Cadillac W1 11/9-15 I stacked three crates to bring the seedlings closer to the light and arranged the tent gals on the perimeter so these can be directly under the humidifier. I check them daily and give them a good misting with deionized water. 11/14 Pictures and I gave a watering with some cal mag and recharge because one of these gals showed light tips Indicating a need for nutrients. That makes me think this Strawberry line is a heavy feeder Stay green, growers love πŸ’šπŸŒΏ NatronaπŸ’«

Natrona Strawberry Cadillac -Strng Seeds W3 11/23-28 11/22 60 ml and added a Exhale CO2 bag to the tent. 11/24 Started fertilizer for all strawberry collection. Each of them had yellowing on the lowest leaf. I removed these on all of them. I tested the soil temperature, and it was 58 degrees which is too cold to plant. I prepared the tent area by moving in shelving and stacking crates to keep them close to the light. I put the pots in the tent overnight to warm the soil and transplanted them the next day. On transplanting, I poured 500 ml ph 5.84 temp 73.5 and 294 ppm into the planting hole. Once I transplanted, I poured an additional 500 ml around the planting hole. Strawberry Cadillac #1 has a mutation. It has only 1 leaf (10fronds) with no opposite. Instead, the main shoot comes of the node to the side. This week the girls doubled in size. She is the mutant with the main shoot coming off the side. Since she is already weird, I attempted to FIM her. I gathered all the top section and cut off 75%. This method is supposed to create multiple colas rather than control the height of the plant. They all looked fine the next day and did not show any distress. I topped them between the 4 and 5th node. Strawberry Cadillac #1 12.5” #2 9β€œ Strawberry Trop Cherry #1 6” #2 6” Straw-Lectric Lemonade #1 8” #2 8.5 All are between 18-25 inches from the light. They are on raised shelving, pushed to the far side of the tent to receive the most humidity directly under the humidifier output. I am using up various nutrients until I trans plant to the 5 gallon fabric pots. I decided to try Real Growers Grow Dots for this grow, so when I transplant, I will stir in Grow Dots into the soil and water only and CalMag as necessary. This decision is made to remove some tedious steps. With Autos near harvest, the photos in early veg and NYCDiesel a photo in late veg, I am having to make 3 different fertilizer blends to accommodate them all. The Strawberry’s received 1.5 liters 3 times this week. A big week for defoliation and lollipop. It is evident that topping an asymmetrical plant does create 2 tops. SC1 has 2 tops but at this late week, I wont amount to much. If you have an asymmetrical plant just train and not top. The 6 Strawberry plants are huge for 7 weeks. Originally, I was planning to wait until January to transplant, however, the roots were showing out of the bottom of the pots, and every plant is over a foot tall and half are over 2 feet any larger they would be unmanageable.. I had to have my husband assist in the transplant to hold the plant as I held the fabric pot open. These are heavy feeders. All showed some nitrogen deficiency earlier on and I’ve increased feeding. I planned to use grow dots extended for photo period plants when I transplanted them to 5 gal. I asked Santa in early November, and he kept sending notice that the order had been delayed. So, I decided to use TPS1 for this grow. I flipped to 12/12 on 12/28 and will water only this week in hopes of reducing the stretch. I must admit; I took on more than I can handle. I started these in November expecting them to be much smaller at 6 weeks. But no, these gals have grown with vigor. I had these 6 huge plants and 4 autos in the 4X4 tent. They grew faster and bigger than the autoflowers am used to growing. Christmas week was hectic with 5 harvests, 6 transplants and defoliation. I had to have my husband assist in the transplant to hold the plant as I held the fabric pot open. I asked a question on a triple leaf set on one of the Cadillac’s. See Pic above. It is a gene mutation. It is not a true triploid as all the nodes are not triple. There is one other location that has one. It looks like there are bud nubs in the crease. A side note: I’m taking applications for Spring & Summer cabana boy πŸ§‘β€πŸŒΎ positions I need when I go to the beach πŸ˜‰. Strawberry Cadillac has the big fans needed for the job. 12/28 Strawberry Cadillac #1 36” #2 26β€œ Strawberry Trop Cherry #1 26” #2 16” Straw-Lectric Lemonade #1 18.5” #2 18 **Important dates** 11/9 Germination 11/25 Transplant to 1.5 gal, 12/1 Topped, Pinned and removed 2 large center leaves 12/5 Repositioned pins and removed lowest fan leaves 12/16 Topped 4 tops on each plant except Cadillac1 (first topping) and put manuka honey on the cut. 12/24 Transplant to 5 gal 12/27 1st Defoliate all 12/28 Flip to 12/12 Stay green, growers love πŸ’šπŸŒΏ πŸ’«NatronaπŸ’«

Natrona Strawberry Cadillac – STRNG Seeds W8 12/28-01/02/26 Happy New Year Friends I have been giving water only ph to 6.4-6.6. I want to reduce the stretch in the first weeks of flower and flush out excess nutrients. 12/29 2 liters 12/31 2.5 liters 55-60% moisture 1/2/26 2 liters the pots are at 55% moisture and need to water more frequently than every three days. So I researched how much water to give to 5 gallon pots. They should receive 1-1.3 gallons of water each watering with 10% run off. I have been underwatering, which is better than overwatering. Anyway, to make sure the pots are saturated with plenty of run off, I gave them 1 gallon each on 1/3. Water, water everywhere πŸ€ͺ. Every pot overflowed with enthusiasm. This is the photo grow for me to learn and experiment. For HST, I learned fimming doesn’t work, topping I’ve gotten good at but I haven’t tried supercroping before. Cadillac1 towers over everyone, I am thinking about supercropping her to reduce height on the 2 tallest branchesI. These were the topping that I did 2 weeks ago. I’m venturing into uncharted territory. Still undecided on whether to do or not. This 6 photo plant grow is more than I anticipated. I now must have 2- 5 gallon buckets of water ready. 6 gallons for the strawberry collection and 3 gallons for NYCD and tomato. The tent is at max capacity and in 5gallon pots, I can’t lift them. I am rethinking limiting photos to 2 at any given time and filling the tent with autos for future grows. 12/31 Strawberry Cadillac #1 39” #2 26β€œ Strawberry Trop Cherry #1 18” #2 28” Straw-Lectric Lemonade #1 27” #2 28 Important dates 11/9 Germination 11/25 Transplant to 1.5 gal, 12/1 Topped, Pinned and removed 2 large center leaves 12/5 Repositioned pins and removed lowest fan leaves 12/16 Topped 4 tops on each plant except Cadillac1 (first topping) and put manuka honey on the cut. 12/24 Transplant to 5 gal 12/27 Defoliate all 12/28 Flip to 12/12 Stay green, growers love πŸ’šπŸŒΏ πŸ’«NatronaπŸ’«

They look really healthy!!! Regarding your watering of I may suggest: take a look at Ecowitt. I’m using their sensors for my watering. They al so have a own app that is easy to read. Lovely strains are these you have !

@MonyetDiablero, πŸ‘€ do the sensors hook to a water reservoir to water as needed?
MonyetDiablero
MonyetDiablero commented2d ago
@Natrona, no that part i automated with raspberry pi . Like for my friends I made something more easy . I made them a 2 step system with the same sensor : one big barrel ph water that pumps the water to a second barrel where the nutrients are dripped in by a cheap dripping system That second barrel will be pumped by a fishtail pump in to the bucket with the plant. All controlled with a app .
