Week 12
26th July Start of a new week.
Temperature soared this week English summertime in excess of 37c in the tent at times. Placed those frozen cooler box things into the tent to get it down to 29c the best I could do. Now today we have rain so a lot cooler and lady friendly. I did notice that some of the amber pistils had fallen away. Do not know if this is normal or just due to the high temperature we have had for a few days. Again like a broken record everything appears to be good and I am sure Lady 1 is on her way to being harvested soon. I have even germinated 6 Critical autos now as I want to fill the tent now and have become addicted to diary writing😂
27th July Now started the two week flush with PH'd water at 6.2 hope that's how you do it.😬
30th July Nothing new to say except Lady 1 still packing the buds and throwing out white pistils. Still glittering trichomes everywhere just need them to start going milky and amber. Still over a week of flush to do so let her do her own thing. talking of doing her own thing Lady 2 surprises me all the time she is starting to build up now and you can definitely tell the strain dominance in the plant even if they were from the same seed. She's still on nutrients at 2% see no need to change.
1st August Happy Yorkshie Day everyone 😀 End of the week and the ladies seem fine to me. Still think Lady 1 could be chopped down end of next week on the 8th August that would be a 91 day grow. If anyone has any thoughts about this please say all help gratefully accepted. Still PH'd water at 6.1 today for lady 1 and 2% nutrients for Lady 2.
I would say you could start LST, easiest to bend from plant over from the top where the stem is most flexible using plant twist tie. As long as you're not super aggressive with the bend you should be fine. Good luck!
@planttracker,
Took your advice and posted a photo of Lady 1 on June 2nd when photo taken it was about 14 hrs after I had tied her up😂 lights just about to come on for 12 hrs👍
@kitkat332986, I mean with autos you have to be a little careful just because of their inability to recover like photos, anyways 90 degree should be fine for most plants as long as it doesn't snap a stem.
you need to flush buddy u end up with headaches as well but good job looks nice, my friend is growing sugar mamma his is about 1 meter tall check his diary out BloominatiBigBud 👍
@planttracker,have to say it was you who gave me the advice when to LST her and she has responded well. I feel more confident in doing this again with auto-flowers thanks to you and looking at your photos. If all goes well I hope to get something near 2 Aussies off her to report on in about a months time👍
